"PARKER" shouted seargent Wilson loudly get on setting the charges to that jeep Jerry (another name for the Germans) will want to take our supply's
All of a sudden Robert shouted "TOMMY" Parker turned to Robert and said "just call me private Parker Robert" Robert looked at him like he wasn't in a good mood and then with a different approach said HOWS Rebecca "yes she's fine she can't wait for me to be home we are getting married when I get back" all of a sudden before Robert could say anything a Stuka dive bomber flew down and dropped a bomb Tommy jumped of the jeep and landed 8 metres from it the bomb hit the jeep killing everyone who was near it apart from Tommy all of a sudden he found the dead of his squad and then found Robert who's arms and legs had been blown right off Tommy stood there looking at his friend (authors note my great grandad and Robert were the best friends since pre school)
A tear ran down Tommys face and then he burst into tears suddenly a Scottish officer ran up to him and told him to get back to his duty Tommy picked up his rifle and went to a sand dune

3 days later
Tommy had made it he was in a boat going back to Dover. 2 months later him and Rebecca got married but he later returned back to service in 1941 but that's in the next chapter
