Rehearsal went well. Kasey felt that she had everything down, and the costumes fit well. Thankfully the costume department had been able to pull together new costumes just in time for the next day of shows.

"I must address the vandalism that went on yesterday," Lin announced at the end of rehearsal. "Now that we have the costume situation figured out, I want to make sure that you are all aware that if anything like that happens again, whoever is responsible will be fired. Am I clear?"

"Yes," everyone chorused. Some people turned to stare daggers at Kasey. She held her head up high. She knew she hadn't done anything. She just wished people would have a little faith in her. Doing something so severe was something that Kasey would have never done. Megan, on the other hand, looked smug and satisfied that Kasey was getting so much hate.

"Thank you. You can all leave," Lin said. Everyone stood up and gathered their water bottles and things that they had brought to rehearsal.

Kasey decided to stay at the theatre to run through the ensemble songs alone. Well, not alone. Carleigh stayed, too, partly to keep company, and partly, Kasey suspected, to make sure that she was safe.

They first did 'Yorktown', Carleigh's favorite, and then they went through the show in order.

Afterwards, they returned to their loft. Kasey took a shower first, and then Carleigh.

"Let's take Buzzfeed quizzes!" Carleigh exclaimed, opening her laptop. Kasey laughed and sat down on the other side of the couch. "Ooh, 'What Hamilton actor are you?'"

"Really, Carleigh? Really?" Kasey giggled.

Carleigh read the answers to Kasey, who answered them as best she could. Carleigh laughed out loud when she got Kasey's results.

"It says that you're Jasmine Cephas Jones, bright, spunky, and bold," Carleigh said. "Actually, I'm not surprised that you got Jazzy."

"I'm not, either," Kasey admitted. "Your turn."

Carleigh handed Kasey her laptop and they repeated the process. "It says... you're Kasey Winslow!" Kasey said, raising her eyebrows. "Classy, friendly, and adorable."

"That is quite hilarious," Carleigh said. "You need to Tweet your results to Jazzy, and I'll Tweet mine to you. The fans will love it."

"Alright," Kasey agreed. They each snapped a screenshot of their results.

Kasey rolled her eyes at what Carleigh had said.

"You wish you were classier than me," Kasey teased.

"Speaking of, did you talk to Jace at all?" Carleigh asked. Kasey frowned.

"How did classiness turn to Jace?" she demanded. Carleigh shrugged.

"Well, I was just wondering. I figured that you two have probably run into each other again, considering that you were clothes shopping in that area."

"Yeah, I did see him. He showed me Lunt-Fontanne Theatre and then we went out for coffee," Kasey said finally.

"He let you inside Lunt-Fontanne Theatre?!" Carleigh exclaimed. "I wish I had your luck in finding decent guys. He's hot, and he's an amazing singer, and he seems so nice, judging by what you've told me."

"Then you can have him," Kasey laughed.

"No! I ship you guys already."

"You're so weird, Carleigh," Kasey said, rolling her eyes. She checked her phone. There were multiple notifications from Twitter.

Jazzy had written:

Kasey laughed out loud at Lin's Tweet. He was hilarious. She couldn't want to see what Pippa said when she saw Lin's tweet.

The other notification was from Jace.

Jace: a ticket to tangled broadway is yours on tuesday. be there, and i'll take you backstage afterwards

Kasey: seriously?!

Jace: seriously ;)

Kasey: i'd love to, but i have a show

Jace: i'm sure that you can miss just one

Kasey: i'll have to see, but i'm really hoping i can get off!

Jace: i'll see you tuesday, if we don't run into each other before then

Kasey: thanks again, jace

Jace: of course. you need to bask in my brilliance some more.

Kasey rolled her eyes. Unluckily for her, Carleigh noticed.

"Who are you contacting now?" she demanded.

"Jace," Kasey admitted, standing up and grabbing a bag of popcorn from the pantry. "He got me a ticket to Tangled on Tuesday. I told him I would see if I could get that night off."

"He WHAT?!" Carleigh exclaimed. "That's the sweetest thing! I like him already."

"It's just a ticket, Carleigh. I'm sure that he can get tickets whenever he feels like it," Kasey reminded her friend. "Just like we have influence over Hamilton tickets."

"That's true, but it's not something you do for someone who's just a friend," Carleigh protested.

"I have to text Lin and ask him permission to miss that day. With all the drama going around, he's probably not going to let me," Kasey said, sighing.

"It's worth a shot," Carleigh told her. "We both know you're innocent."

Kasey took a deep breath and started to text Lin.

Kasey: A friend of mine got me tickets to see Tangled Broadway on Tuesday night. Would it be possible for me to miss that performance?

Lin: Tangled Broadway is a fantastic show. Amazing actors, great music, and the sets are stunning. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. They were nominated for Best Leading Actor, Best Musical, Best Orchestration, and Best Featured Actress, I believe. Simply fantastic production.

Kasey: So I can go?

Lin: Of course. I know a lot of cast members doubt you right now, but I believe that the vandalism was not you. Have a wonderful night there.

Kasey: Thank you so much!

Kasey looked up from her phone to see Carleigh staring anxiously at her. Kasey broke out into a grin. Carleigh smiled.

"Does this mean he said yes?" Carleigh asked.

Kasey nodded. Carleigh beamed.

"That's wonderful! I'll miss you onstage but I'm sure that you'll love it. You'll have to tell me all about it when you get back," Carleigh said.
