Maybe time stopped when his lips met hers but the flutter only intensified Megan's heart pounded in her chest as her knees got weaker.She could only focus on how soft he felt against her mouth,how addictively he invaded all her senses.

Alex deepended the kiss, parting Megan's lip more, leaving a moan out of Megan's mouth.. Alex released his mouth from the kiss, leaving Megan breathless..

"Taste like candy." Alex said in a hush voice, as he used his thumb to clean the side of his lip..

Megan touched the side of her lip, looking at Alex, as she ran out of the party...

Alana followed her..

"Megan,wait up." Alana said standing up as she followed her..

Megan came out the party,the rain was falling heavily...

But Megan didn't care less,as she entered the rain running on the street, that was cold..

She stopped at Granny Ella's door, pressing the bell... Granny Ella opened the door, with her apron on her..

"Megan." Granny Ella said..

"Hi." Megan said in a dry voice

Megan entered the house with Granny Ella,"What happened to you?" Granny Ella said as Megan sat on the couch..

"Don't sit on my couch, you are dripping wet." Granny Ella said making Megan stand up hastily..

"Sorry." Megan said with a smile..

"Go upstairs to change, you would see a bathroom or my nightie." Granny Ella said as Megan went upstairs..

Megan allowed the hot water pelt on her..

"Taste like candy."

Megan could remember what Alex as making her huff heavily.. She switched off the shower, coming out of the bathroom..

She opened Granny Ella's wardrobe which had oversized dress, she picked a long silk nightie, which looked big on her..

Megan went downstairs, she could smell nice aroma, making Megan rush downstairs to the dinning room...

Granny Ella dropped the plate on the dinning table.. Megan went close to the food, which was a bowl of  noodles in the middle of the table,a plate of fruits, and some assorted meat round the noodles..

"How do you know how to cook so good?" Megan said as she sat down on the dinning chair..

"Let say, I love cooking and it reminds me of my late husband." Granny Ella said with a sad smile on her face..

Megan expression changed into a sad one,"Oh,am so sorry."

"Oh, it's fine." Granny Ella said..

" So, where is William? I haven't seen him." Megan said looking around the house..

"He's sleeping." Granny Ella said giving Megan a plate of noodles..

Megan collected it,"Oh thank you."

"So are you going to tell me,why you walked in the rain, looking so devastated?" Granny Ella said making Megan looked at her with her mouth full..

"Well actually, I don't really want to talk about it." Megan said as she swallowed her noodles..

"A guy, right?" Granny Ella said..

"My God, Yes.. how did you know?" Megan said with a scoff..

"I have been in this world for sixty nine years, do you think am dumb?" Granny Ella said..

"Oh well, it just that I am just coming back from a heartless breakup and this night,my enemy kissed me."

"Megan,tell me what exactly do you want?" Granny Ella said, making Megan look at her in shock..

"I wan-, I don't know what I want."

"Should I tell my youthful romantic life?"

"Eww, no gross." Megan said with a laugh..

"I used to have a crush on this guy, I mean a huge crush on him.. I could die for him,I loved him so much."

"Okay,we understand the love part."

"Stop being a joke,then one day he asked me out,I didn't really understand my mixed emotion,I wasn't sure about myself.. I just stopped liking him,I didn't even last a day in the relationship."

"Like seriously."

"Yes,I didn't know what I wanted till I met my husband.. I knew what I wanted." Granny Ella said a sweet smile..

Megan said with a laugh scoff, "Wow,me here thinking it would be a boring story."

Granny Ella laughed.. "So Megan, what do you want?"
