The Voice

Frisk's P.O.V.
"You really believe that skeleton meant all of those 'nice' words?"
I jumped up from my sleep. There it goes again. I instantly started crying. I had no idea who this THING was...or what it wanted from me. It all seemed to be in my head...but wouldn't that mean I'm crazy?
"He just said all of those things to let your guard down. So he could kill you at your weakest." The voice kept talking.
I tried not to believe it, but his words could convince the smartest being on the planet with its words. The voice had a tone of a sneaky snake, ready to bite at any second.
The voice kept going. "He he he...I know how to solve all of this. You just have to do something so simple, even a two year old could do it."
"W-What's that?" I asked, shaking all over. I heard the voice laugh again. Why did this voice sound so familiar?
It hurt to even listen to his words: "RESET FRISK!"

Sans' P.O.V.
I couldn't sleep. This was normal; most nights I had nightmares about timelines or about Frisk. Yes, I knew about timelines. And how one person had the power to take all of their progress away: by RESETTING. I knew that person with this power, and she was the most important being in my world.
Frisk has that power. And other ones two, such as using DETERMINATION to save, to chose her path between Genocide and Pacifist.
I was scared of the RESETS, and the Genocide route. I feared that I'd lose Papyrus. I'm just happy that Frisk hasn't ruined this timeline though, but there was this one question in my mind that I couldn't get out:
Should I ask Frisk about her resetting? If she's gonna do it or leave it be?
My thoughts were interrupted by faint cries outside my door. I didn't think much of it at first, yet I walked outside my room.
There, freaking out on the floor, was Frisk. I reacted by teleporting to her side. I grabbed her shaking body and turned her to face me. It hurt to see her expression.
Frisk's face wasn't the same happy, loving one. Her eyes were puffed out and red from the tears, not to mention the tears that streamed down her face. Her face read "help me." Tears started filling my eyes too.

Frisk's P.O.V.
"RESET! RESET! RESET!" I kept hearing. Even when Sans had come to my side, it didn't help. The voice grew louder as he kept chanting "reset."
"S-STOP!" I tried yelling at the voice. "STOP! P-PLEASE!!"
But it only looked like I was going crazy. I could tell because Sans looked at me with the most confused look. I didn't care. That's all I kept yelling as the other voice in my head yelled "RESET!!"
I heard Sans' voice now. "What's going on? Why are you acting like this? PLEASE, let me help you!!"
Everything seemed to stop; my heart, my tears, even time...also the voice seemed to quiet down. I looked at Sans for a quick second. But I only wanted one thing: his sweet bear hugs...his passionate kisses...his reassurance.
So I hugged him. Tight. I felt his boney arms wrap around me too. I buried my face in his chest, crying still. I heard soft shushes and sweet caresses flowing through my hair.
"S-S......an...s..." I cried his name. He kept shushing me quietly. I felt better, though I kept hearing the voice saying "RESET! RESET!"
       "T-they're telling m-me to reset, S-Sans..." I said, my voice shaking. "I-I don't want t-to...but i-it hurts to l-listen to t-them..."
"Don't listen. Just...calm down," Sans said, moving away from the hug to look down at me. "And we'll get through this hell. Okay?"
I nodded. Sans leaned both of us in to kiss. I felt better once again. It seemed the voice had gone away now.
Sans chuckled, picking me up bridal style in the process. I whimpered a bit. I wiped away my tears as best as I could. Sans had then walked us up to his room. I smirked a bit.
"You're sleeping with me tonight, Frisky." Sans said, opening the door with his magic. I laughed a bit.
"'Frisky?' What got you to call me that?" I asked as Sans sat me down on the bed.
Sans laughed too as he crawled under the sheets, gesturing me to come under too. "What? You call me 'Sansy,' so why can't I call you 'Frisky?'"
"Whatever dude." I laughed. I also crawled under the sheets and cuddled next to Sans.
I hadn't slept for a while...I only kept thinking about that voice. How it kept telling me to reset. Well, not TELLING me but DEMANDING me to. I also kept thinking about how that voice sounded so freakishly familiar. It sounded like an "old friend." IF he was my "friend" at all, it was familiar.
That's when it hit me before I fell asleep in Sans' arms.
       "An old best friend,"
"Voice sounds sweet at first, but you see his true colors,"
"Voice, sounding like a sneaky snake...having multiple tricks up his sleeve..."

       It was Flowey.
