Time skip to next day
Melody POV
*BEEP BEEP BE-*
I slam my hand on my alarm clock. I grab my glasses and yawn. I do my daily routine and walk into the kitchen to make breakfast. I decide to make chocolate pancakes. I have every ingredient needed except for... the cocoa powder. I look for it and find it on the top shelf. I can't reach it, even with a step stool "Dang it." I whisper.
I have an idea. I tie a piece of string to the shelf. I shrink and climb up the string. I finally get to the cocoa powder. I try to push it off the shelf, but it's too heavy. I try again. I slide against the container. I try again pushing with everything I've got. The container moves, making me tumble. I fall on my back " Oof."
" You alright?" A voice asks
I look up to see Dib. " Good Morning." I say
" What are you doing?"
" Making breakfast."
" Why do you need the cocoa powder?"
" Chocolate Pancakes. Want to help?"
  He shrugs.
Time skip
After about an hour, we made over 100 pancakes. Now it's time to wake up everyone. I grab my air horn. " Cover your ears, Dib."
He covers his ears and I push the button.

" AHHHHHHHH!" Everyone yells.
    I start to laugh. " Oh. My. God." Kayla says kicking the door open. " Will you ever stop doing that crap."
    " Nope." I reply
    " Ugh fine. I'm still mad at you but not too mad at you because you made pancakes."
    " Morning Red." Dib says.
    " Morning Dibster." Ann says still half asleep.
" School is in half an hour. We better get ready." I say
Time skip
    The way to school is... normal but funny. Everyone knows the way to school except for the new kids. They're trying to be cool about it while trying to keep up. We cross the street and here this: " Give me an L."
    " L!"
    " Give me an O."
   " O!"
   " Give me an S."
   " S!"
   " Give me an E."
   " E!"
   " Give me an R."
   " R!"
   " Give me an S."
   " S!"
   " What does that spell?"
   " LOSERS!"
   God damn cheerleaders. Bunch a girls that think they run this hell. I walk past them. "Hey Nerd!"
" The hell you want?" I growl
   She picks me up by the collar of my sweater. " For you to stop being so dumb."
   " I'm smarter than you, Cambridge."
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Burned!" Everyone says
    She gets a small handprint on her face "Ooh. You're gonna need some ice for that burn." I say " Also, you can't burn me because I'm already on fire."
   " Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"
    She punches me in the stomach " That the best you can do?" I say
    She pushes me to the ground. I shrug it off. She walks off. " Whatever. You and your crew of freaks are not worth my time. C'mon girls."
I stand up and dust off my skirt off. I cough. I see blood. Frick. " MELODY!" Ann yells " You alright?"
" Yeah." I say wiping the blood stream off my face.
" C'mon. Let's go to the nurse." She says
I cover my face until we get to the nurse. She gives me an elixir and I magically stop bleeding. The world we live in... anyway, Dib, Gaz, and Zim get their schedules and enter a boring, 52 minute lecture from our social studies teacher, Mr. Donnie. " I hate this place already." Gaz groans
" You'll hate PE even more." Pepper groans
Timeskip
We get changed for PE in our assigned locker rooms and walk out to the gym. Oh no. Dodgeball. " Oh frick." I say
" What?" Zim asks
" Dodgeball. On the last day of school." I facepalm.
" Eh? What's wrong with this 'Dodgeball'"
After saying that, he gets hit in the stomach with a ball. " AHHH! My squidilyspooch!"
" Your what?"
" NEVERMIND!" He says holding his stomach.
" Damn. He just got alienated." A voice says behind me.
" Hi Shadow."
" Dork."
" What?" I say spinning on my heels.
" School is 10 times worse than usual when you not around. And you've been gone. For. Four. Months."
" I've been gone for a year before, so what?"
" Cambridge... nearly burned... HQ down...."
" THE HELL?!?"
      " Yeah. I know right?"
      " BUT WHY?!???!?"
      " Because she's Cambridge and she is a bi-"
      " DO NOT CUSS!"
      " Rightttt."
" Do you want to win or not?"
" Hell Yeah I do!"
Timeskip
After defeating Cambridge, it was time for lunch. We got a piece of pizza and sat at our usual spot. " Wow. You guys serve pizza at your school and all we get is slop." Dib says.
    " Yeah. True." Ann says.
    " Soooooooooo, rumor has it," Shadow says smirking " Your Ann's boyfriend~"
    Dib blushes. " Yeah."
    " Oooooooooh. Ann found a lover~" a voice says behind her. It's Spirit. She has blonde hair with baby blue eyes. She wears a purple hoodie, black rimmed glasses, short-shorts and a pair of pink cat headphones. " When you guys get married?" She says winking.
     " HEY!" Ann yells hitting the back of Spirit's head.
                             Dibs POV
     " Ow."
     " You deserved it."
     " True. BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT!"
     " Har Har."
     We talk for awhile about different hobbies everyone has. Then a girl in a mahogany sweater and a white scarf walks up to our table. " H-hey Melody."
      " Hey Paint! Any new artworks?"
     " Yeah! I'm finishing up a mural outside. I'll show ya!"
We walk outside.

" Woah. Nice."
" Yeah just one more thing..." she says pulling out her paintbrush.
She writes Be-(you)-tiful. " There."
        " Cool."
" So what's your elective?" She asks me
" My what?" I ask
" Your elective. Ya know... a class to show your talents."
" Like Ann in choir?"
" Choir is an elective. I guess you coming with a to choir." Paint says
