Past 8: Freddy, Chica, and Chichi as The Pained Ones

Okay. The author's note is in the beginning of this chapter because I want this to go smooth. You'll know when you reach the end of this chappy. I worked hard for this. And it's my aim to make you cry. If you did, please tell me in the comments how hard you cried on the scale of 1-10. And umm....sorry for the long wait?

Love love <3

. . .

Freddy, Chica and Chichi Warner were siblings. Their mother, Claire Warner died of leukemia when Freddy was four and Chica and Chichi were three. It was a tough job for their father, Francis Warner to give the three of them their daily necessities and needs. Freddy was a year older than the twins. He didn't actually talk very much. This left Chica and Chichi ignoring him, being used to his usual act. He was mature, they thought.

But he needed a mother. He just didn't show it. Nobody will care anyway.

Ever since they were kids, Freddy was always left out. Chica and Chichi were twins. Chica was spoiled too much, making their mother work even harder just to buy her useless things. Maybe that was the reason she died...but no one blamed Chica.

Chichi was...always following Chica. After all, Chica was a minute older than her. Once Chica ignored him, Chichi also did...but Freddy noticed her stealing glances at him once in a while with worried eyes.

Maybe Chica was their father's favorite, spoiling her even more. Nobody cared about Freddy. Because he was adopted.

Freddy left the orphanage when he was one and moved in with the Warner's. He didn't know his name so he just went with the flow of having his new parents name him. Claire was actually glad. Francis wasn't, but he couldn't disagree with her wife. So Freddy was just ignored by him.

Chica and Chichi knew that he was adopted the day Clair died. That was also the day they started to ignore him, not that they actually talk much before.

It was the same routine for Freddy.

Chica was jumping up and down. Chichi looked at Chica for a moment, as if memorizing her movements, and then jumped too.

"So does that mean you'll get to buy me new dresses Dad?" Chica squealed with glee.

"Oh! Oh! Can I get ragged clothes Dad? Chica told me they're necessary for being her servant!" Chichi's smile didn't falter.

Freddy stared. 'What's going on today?'

"Once I receive my pay, we'll get you as many dresses as we can my little darling Chica." Francis pinched Chica's cheeks.

'So no one will ask me what I want?' Freddy rolled his eyes at the usual scene.

"What job did you get, Dad?" Chichi asked.

"Oh. I was just hired as the main security guard in a jewelry store. It's a big company, too!" he boasted.

"What was it Dad?"

"Hmm...do you know that clothing line company where we bought your most expensive dress Chica?"

"The Calloway's?" Chica asked with glimmering eyes.

"Yes! Apparently, they also extended their business to a small jewelry store. And I'm working there starting tomorrow!"

Freddy wondered how his father got in the company. Well, their father was a handsome and charming person. Their mother was also beautiful. Of course, their children went with their looks. The only problem was they went broke because of the payments for everything Claire's death needed. Her medication caused a lot of money too.

So...how long was his father's job going to last?

Mangle was...devastated. She sat in front of her parents' coffins with dull eyes. She had no more tears left to cry. She loved both of them. Why did they have to leave before her?

If only she kept her mouth shut.

"This is all my fault! I killed them!" she kept shouting. The words echoes, as if reminding her of what she did.

She punched herself but her tiny arms were stopped.

"Mangle..." she heard a soft voice. Mangle looked up to see a person that looked just like her mother.

"Who...are you?"

"I'm your Aunt Loraine. I'm your mother's sister."

"Oh..."

"Don't worry. Everything will be fine, Mangle. My husband and I will take care of you," her Aunt Loraine smiled.

"But...I killed them..." she whispered again.

"It's not your fault."

The words hit her like a bullet.

It's not my fault?

It's not my fault.

It's really not my fault, right?

If it's not, then who's the on responsible for the death of the ones I love?

Her eyes widened. Then it turned into a glare.

This is all Foxy's fault. Everything.

She stood up and ran away. She heard her Aunt call for her name but she didn't care. She wanted to escape. Just for a moment, she wanted to escape this cruel reality!

'Why me? Did I do anything wrong? Why did you have to take the ones I love away from me? God, if you're there, are you happy? Foxy...are you happy?'

Tears fell as she ran and ran.

She didn't notice where she was going for her eyesight was blurred.

She felt a hand pull her arm. She stopped.

Slowly, she looked back.

"Foxy...let go of my arm," Mangle told him with dead cold eyes.

"No. Where are you going? Are you running away?" Foxy had a look of worry on his face.

Mangle's frown deepened.

"Ha! I can't believe this! Why are you stopping me? Didn't you want this to happen? Didn't you want my parents dead?"

"What...what are you talking about?"

"Admit it Foxy! You were jealous of me! Because I had parents who take care of me! Love me! You lied! You lied when you told me my mom cheated on my dad! You wanted me to suffer! You wanted me to be like you! Why did you do it?! Did you hate me that badly?! Did I do something bad to you?! Huh?! Tell me!!!!"

"I DIDN'T LIE!"

Mangle stepped back as Foxy started showing real anger. It was the first time she saw him this angry. Her heart clenched painfully, but she didn't know why.

"I cared for you! I didn't...I never wished for you to be like me! But did you know how I felt?! Did you know how I felt every single day my parents leave me with you?! I was their only son, but they didn't even have little time for me! It's painful, Mangle! You don't know how much pain I felt! How empty I was!"

Mangle didn't notice the tears falling from Foxy's eyes for her eyes were also filled with her own tears.

"That's right! I don't understand anything about you! Your parents leave you. But they leave you to play with me. Then they come back! What about me?! My parents...they'll be gone forever! And this is all because you lied! I thought you were my friend!"

"I am! I am your friend!"

"THEN WHY DID YOU KILL THEM?!" Mangle shouted at the top of her lungs.

There was a moment of silence.

A thunder clap was heard. The sky turned dark.

"Let go of my arm," Mangle broke it. Her heart was already shattered. This was enough. She had to run away now.

She only heard one cold reply. "No."

"Foxy, I told you, let go of my arm!" She pulled her arm back but Foxy's grip was too strong.

"No!"

"Why?! Do you need to cause me more pain?! What more will you take from me?! Do you want me to die too?!" Mangle's brain was filled with many thoughts.

It was the first time Foxy cried this hard.

"No!"

"No what?! Do you want to kill me yourself?!"

"I told you no!" Foxy shouted.

"Then what..." Mangle's voice broke into a soft whisper. "Do you want everything to go back to the way it was?"

Before he could answer, Mangle did. "I do."

Foxy's heart was hurting badly. His head hurt too.

"Mangle, everything will be-"

"FINE?! OKAY?! Shut up!!! You don't know anything! You don't know my pain!" Mangle looked down.

"Let go of my arm."

"I won't."

"Foxy. I. Said. Let. Go."

"I won't."

"Foxy, I told you many times! Leave me be! LEAVE ME ALONE! YOU NEVER LIKED ME ANYWAY! YOU WANTED ME TO FEEL PAIN JUST LIKE YOU DID! SO JUST LET GO OF MY ARM! LET GO!!!"

Mangle pulled her arm even harder. She cried softly... "Let...me go already...."

She cried, and cried. Mangle fell to her knees. It started raining. Their clothes soaked.

"I...will never let you go."

Mangle looked up. "Why? Just why?"

"Because...I love you."

"WHAT?!" Mangle screamed.

"I love you, Mangle."

She blinked. "What are you talking about?"

"Stand up." Before she could, Foxy pulled her arm which is still with his death grip.

Mangle stumbled on Foxy's chest. Foxy breathed in before speaking.

"I'm giving you a choice. Run away, and never return. Start a new life."

Mangle felt Foxy let go of her arm and step back.

"Or...take my hand." She saw Foxy's hand in front of her.

She stared at it.

Slowly...she reached for his hand. Slowly...

She heard the sound of police cars. She was always known for her sensitive sense of hearing. Though, Foxy didn't know that.

She ran towards the sound, completely forgetting Foxy.

Foxy stared at Mangle's figure as she ran.

Mangle saw a little girl wearing a black dress in the middle of the road. A speeding car was 7 meters away from running in to her.

'Why isn't she moving?!'

With her instincts, Mangle ran towards the girl. "Look out!" She pushed her and the girl stumbled in the corner of the road.

She saw the incoming car in front of her. Then everything went black.

Just a second before she blacked out...she remembered Foxy. She smiled unconsciously. 'I love you, too...Foxy.'
