Past 16: Jealousy
"W-what...what are you doing here?" Mangle managed to stutter out.
"I'm your new neighbor!"
"What?!"
"I just moved in yesterday. It took a while to find a good place to settle. I'm so glad it was with someone I know!" he smiled.
God, that smile was captivating.
"Look who helped me!" Goldie pointed in front of the gates of Mangle's house. Standing there was one neutral-looked red head.
"Foxy?" she asked.
"Oh...so his name was Foxy! He wouldn't say anything to me and just lead me here when I visited his house to see my new neighbor. Did I do something?"
Mangle shrugged. She glanced at Foxy again. He was facing backwards. 'What's with him?'
"So...umm...would you like to come in?"
"I appreciate the offer but not today, princess. I have someone to meet."
Mangle blinked. 'Princess?'
"See you at school!" And just like that, Goldie left.
Mangle approached Foxy who was still standing there. "Why didn't you say anything to him?" Mangle asked.
"I don't have anything to say to him."
Mangle shrugged. "He's a nice guy."
"Yeah, yeah. He's so nice I could die happily with just eating his sh*t."
Mangle stared at Foxy. "Mr. Foxy Cooper, did you just spout the word 'sh*t' in front of me?!"
Foxy started to walk away.
"Stop right there!" she started running towards him but Foxy was faster.
Mangle fell down on the ground as she bumped on his back. 'When did he stop walking?'
"It must be nice. He even called you a princess..."
"Yeah, he-" Mangle looked at Foxy. "How could you hear that with the long distance?"
"I'm going home."
"Hey!" Mangle shouted but Foxy was already too far. 'What's wrong with my life? Rather, what's wrong with him?!'
Goldie's House --- Mangle's House --- Foxy's House
. . .
"Shall we go home together?"
Mangle looked up from her desk. "What?" she asked in bewilderment.
"I asked if I can take you home today, Princess."
"Uhh...why?" Mangle asked. Her classmates were staring at them. They were whispering here and there.
Goldie smiled just like he usually does. "Because I like you~"
The murmurs stopped.
Mangle heard footsteps coming towards her desk.
"Excuse me, dude. She's my girlfriend."
"Springtrap!" Mangle unconsciously blurted out.
"Is she? I never saw you guys hang out or date."
"That's either because you're new, or just plain stupid."
Goldie smirked. Springtrap sarcastically smiled.
There is war going on here! "Uhh..." Mangle stood up slowly. "Guess I'll go home first. Bye~"
They probably didn't hear her since Springtrap and Goldie were too busy bickering. She made her way to Bonbon's seat.
"Ah, Mangle, let's go ho-"
"Sorry Mangle. I need to talk to this pretty lady here," Bonnie told her as he slung an arm on Bonbon's shoulder, which she shoved harshly.
"Then, see you tomorrow," she said and rushed out of the room before Bonbon could protest. 'They really need to make up.'
She sighed. "I can't even resolve my own problems and I'm thinking of others!"
She walked her way out of school. That's when she suddenly bumped into someone.
'Not again.'
. . .
"Shall we go home together?"
Foxy's head snapped to the direction of that same voice yesterday.
"What?"
'Exactly. What's going on?' Foxy noticed a crowd forming. 'Isn't that Mangle's seat?'
"I asked if I can take you home today, Princess."
'Tsk. There's that annoying pet name again.' Foxy unconsciously gritted his teeth.
"Uhh...why?"
"Because I like you~"
Foxy suddenly took off from his seat and walked to the door. He needed a wall to punch.
"Excuse me, dude. She's my girlfriend."
Make that 2 walls.
. . .
"F*ck!! Why am I so angry?!"
Bam!
Foxy looked up and saw the dent he made on the wall. 'What's wrong with me?'
That's when he realized something. School rule no. 15: No breaking of school properties. Plus, his hand was bleeding but he paid it no heed. What he needed to know was why he felt so angry today.
He sighed. "Why...am I feeling like this?"
Without an answer to his own question, Foxy decided to go home.
. . .
Waking slowly, Foxy remembered his little brother asking him to buy dinner for him.
He sighed yet again. "I guess I'll go." He needed something to distract him with his thoughts anyway.
Foxy entered a restaurant to order a take out.
"Order anything you want, Princess."
Again, his head snapped to the direction of that annoying female-like voice.
He didn't even notice his brows furrowed a bit. He made his way to that one table.
"Uhh...I'm sorry but I'm not-"
"Don't worry. It's on me."
Foxy was a little bit closer this time, just a few more feet. He took sight of the familiar pink hair.
"Goldie, you see here..."
"What? You're scared of me because you don't know me well yet?"
1 meter...
Foxy heard Goldie laugh. "Don't be. I don't bite."
Bam!
"I do." He had slammed the palm of his hand on the table between the two.
"Foxy?!"
"What a coincidence to see you two lovebirds hanging out here," Foxy said.
"What are you doing here?" Mangle asked. Her eyes was soon directed at the hand Foxy slammed on the table. "What happened to your hand?!" She was about to reach for his hand but Foxy slammed it on the desk the second time. Mangle's eyes widened.
"I thought you're Springtrap's girlfriend. Looks like you found a prince," he stated sarcastically. "Unfortunately it's a fake one."
"Hello Foxy," Goldie smiled at him despite Foxy's hand still on the desk and in between Mangle and him.
"Hell to you...I mean..Hello to you too Goldie."
Mangle blinked. 'What was that?'
"What made you go here?" Goldie asked, not minding Foxy's behavior.
"I'm just grabbing a bite," he covered up for his actions earlier.
"Ah, no. I mean, what made you go to this table specifically?"
Foxy blinked. 'Yeah, what am I doing here? It's none of my business!'
"Foxy?" Mangle asked.
He snapped out of his thoughts. "I was going to buy dinner for my brother and I, but then I saw you guys here."
Smooth Foxy. Real smooth.
"Oh? You have a brother?"
Foxy didn't answer.
"How's little Fred?" Mangle asked, feeling a little uncomfortable.
"Fine."
Silence.
"Okay then! Bye Foxy!" Goldie waved. Foxy's right eye twitched. He turned away, but not before giving Goldie a look that screamed murder.
He exited the restaurant and walked to his house as quickly as he can. "Wait! Foxy! Your hand is bleeding! Let me treat it!"
When he was right in front of his mansion, he stopped, a look of bewilderment and annoyance on his face. "What did I just do?"
. . .
Extra:
Mangle stared intently at Goldie's hand.
"Why are you holding up three of your fingers?" she asked out of curiosity.
Goldie smiled. "Someone did three lies today."
"Huh?"
Goldie smiled wider as he put his fingers down one by one.
"First," he curled his middle finger back down. "...I'm just grabbing a bite."
"Second," he curled his middle finger back down. "...I was going to buy dinner for my brother and I, but then I saw you guys here."
"And lastly..." he curled his index finger, making his hand clench into a fist. "He left without doing any of those things."
Mangle blinked dumbingly. "What?"
Foxy's house:
"Why didn't you buy me dinner you stupid big brother?!" Fred(Toy Freddy) cried.
Foxy slammed his face on the desk, ignoring his little brother's cries, hoping no one realized his sloppy mistakes.
Unfortunately, someone did.
. . .
Okay! I updated! This took faster that I had thought. I was planning to update next week, but since I love you guys and I know you hate waiting, I did update today. And thank you for the ball of luck you guys had given me. I actually had high scores on my exams, except for P.E. but that's fine with me.
