Past 14: Letting It Out

'Where's that little rich-sh*t?'

Foxy glanced everywhere almost turning his whole head at the back. He walked but everyone seemed to think he was running. He spotted a shade of apple green hair from the crowd. This time, he really ran. But it was quite difficult with his costume.

Springtrap was laughing. He was surrounded by girls. And of course, a girl with yellow hair was beside his group. Foxy's eyebrows narrowed. 'Found him.'

He stood in front of the b*stard. "Hey, Foxy!"

Foxy blinked. "You can recognize me?" he asked in disbelief.

"Hmm...yes and no. I usually hear your annoying voice around whenever your precious 'Mangle' is with me. I managed to memorize it." Springtrap smirked.

"It's a surprise you did," Foxy challenged.

Springtrap's mood suddenly changed. His brow narrowed and his smirk faded. "What do you mean? I have a brain, you know."

"I use mine."

The crowd stopped doing what they were doing and glanced at the two boys.

"Tsk."

It was Foxy's turn to smirk this time. But...before all that....

"Where's Mangle?"

"Mangle?" he repeated.

"Yes...Mangle." Foxy was getting irritated.

"Perhaps I know too many Mangles. Who is this Mangle that you're talking about?"

Foxy glared. "Don't play with me."

Springtrap lightened up. "Ah! Mangle? Yes. I believe that Mangle is MY.GIRLFRIEND."

Bam!

Springtrap fell to the floor but with his mask still stuck with him.

"Oh my gosh!"

"He punched him!"

"This is a scoop!"

"That guy's hot!"

Okay...Foxy was more disturbed by the last line because the one saying that was actually a guy.  Anyway....

Springtrap laughed. "What is it now?"

"WHERE.IS.SHE."

Springtrap smirked. "I don't know."

"..."

"I don't know," he repeated.

"WHAT."

"Oh, I'm also curious to find out how you can tell it was me, Foxy," he said, changing the subject. "Was it because of my hair?"

Foxy turned around and started to walk away. He stopped after taking 7 steps and turned around to Springtrap once more. He smirked. "There's only one bastard who stole my girl."

And just like that, he left.

. . .

"Hello?" Mangle heard a voice over the phone.

"Uh......" she looked at the group. She wasn't prepared on what to say!

"Who is this?"

"He asked who I am!" Mangle whispered, covering the phone with her hands.

"Say who you are!" Bonbon told her.

"A-ah...o-okay." Mangle put away her hand from the phone. 'Ah wait...' She covered it again.

"Who am I again?"

"Mangle!!!" The group yelled.

"Shh! I get it! I'm Mangle..."

She returned to the phone.

"Ah...umm....eh....." Mangle got tongue-tied..again.

"Excuse me but who the f-"

Mangle waited for Foxy to continue. With no response, she looked at her friends and shrugged. "Say your name!" Bonnie whispered.

That's weird. Mangle was about to say 'your name' but Foxy spoke first.

"What is it Mangle?"

"Foxy..." She looked at her friends again. "Don't just say his name!" Chichi hanged on to desperation.

"Ah! That's right!" She went back to the phone. "Are you going to the party next week?"

"No."

"He said 'no'..." Mangle whispered.

"Ask him why!"

Mangle nodded.

"Why?"

"Do you need to know?"

Mangle looked at her friends. "Do I really need to know?"

"Of course you do!"

"Ugh! Foxy's good at being so blunt!"

"Persuade him!"

"Mangle?" She heard Foxy's voice again.

"Ah, sorry. Can't you come? It'll be fun," I tried. 'Say yes. Say yes. Say yes. Pwease....'

"I'm not interested."

Okay. That. Is. It.

"Ah...is that so?"

The group backed away from Mangle who was very murderous.

She glared at the phone.

"Then, I'll just go with Springtrap. He's my boyfriend after all."

"Wh-"

Mangle ended the call. She almost threw her phone. "Ugh! That numb....grr!"

"So?" Bonbon looked up at her.

Mangle looked angry. Bonbon smiled. "I knew it."

"Don't worry. Foxy will come," Bonnie told everyone.

"How are you so sure?" Bonbon asked him.

"Trust me. He won't let the pest escape."

"What?" Mangle asked in confusion. Bonbon's eyes widened as she looked at Bonnie then smirked. Bonnie smirked back. Okay. Having these guys agree on one thing is pretty scary.

. . .

"What do you mean he'll come?! He won't!" Mangle yelled at the top of her lungs. She was alone and it was midnight already. 'Mom...Aunt is go going to get worried.'

"Ugh!" She groaned, taking her heels off and sat down. She glanced at the water from the top of the bridge.

She sighed. "Love's a mess," two voices said at the same time.

Mangle looked up after another voice echoed with hers. She found herself sitting face to face with a man in a pirate costume with golden eyes behind a red mask. "Whoa!" they both said at the same time.

"Ah...sorry," the guy told her.

"It's...okay."

It was a complete silence but both found that silence comfortable.

"What are you doing out here?" she managed to speak out.

"How about you?"

Mangle sighed. "You think love's a mess too, right?"

The guy nodded. "Do you?"

She nodded.

"What are you so mad about to shout that loud?" the guy asked her.

"You heard me? Hmm...love, I guess."

"Can I....tell you my story?" the guy asked.

"It feels good letting it out. I'll tell you mine too." Mangle smiled.

"Okay."

"There's this girl. Most of people see her as naive, spoiled, childish, and a nuisance."

Mangle twitched. 'That sounds awfully familiar.'

"But...to me, she's beautiful, strong, brave...although she's a bit childish sometimes, I think that's...cute."

Mangle smiled. "It would be wonderful if the one I love thinks of me like that."

"What is he like?"

"Hmmm...he's uncaring, prideful, and also selfish. But, that's not what I see him. Even if he's uncaring, I know he cares deep inside. He can be prideful, but I know that it's a part of him. He's selfish...but most of the time he's selfless. That's why I love him."

"That's nice." The guy smiled. "So, what made you angry today?"

"It's a one-side love." She sighed.

"Same here!" the guy exclaimed.

"You see here, I tried inviting him to go to the party but I couldn't just say the right words! I ruined everything!"

"Don't say that," he commented. "I'm pretty awful myself. I kept refusing the girl love and forced my own selfishness on her. That's why she ditched me with some hot and rich guy."

"That's cruel."

"But...I still love him/her." they both said at the same time. They glanced at each other then laughed.

Mangle glanced at the night sky. "My mom's going to kill me."

"Well, nobody's going to kill me since my parents  are home later than me."

"Don't you think that's unfair?"

"They have work. I'm used to it," he told her.

Mangle giggled. "You're pretty similar to Foxy. I always see him with that sad look on his face. But...I still love him." She smiled a bit brighter.

When she heard no response, she spoke, staring into those deep golden eyes that seemed too familiar. "Is something wrong?"

"No...not at all." The guy replied.
