"That was a little close don't you think!?" (Y/n) whisper-yelled.

"No worries mi amor-"

"But Jaime I AM WORRIED. That was way to close for comfort! If you would have been caught with me...he..they would hurt you..." (Y/n) said.

"....How can someone stupid and reckless like me have someone as sweet and beautiful as you. What did I do to deserve you..." Jaime said.

"Oh Jaime...I love you so much. I love your personality, your stupid smile, everything. I could give a damn if parents don't want us together!" (Y/n) said as she kissed his lips.

"Who's over there?!" (D/n) shouted.

"Another time mi amor" Jamie said as he left over the fence.

"It's just me Daddy!" (Y/n) whisper-yelled.

"(Y/n)! What are you doing sneaking around over here?" (D/n) said.

"I'm sorry Pa Pa, I was coming from Megann's House, and I didn't want to wake her up! You now how she is when she doesn't get her beauty rest..." (Y/n) whispered.

Her father sweatdropped at that, "I-yai-yai, Okay Okay, let's get you inside my lil' chicka-"

"Papaaaaaa you know I hate that nickname!" She slightly whined.
Her father chuckled at this, Her father truly loved her lil' chicka and would kill anyone who touched her the wrong way, especially anyone that from that Reyes Family.

Now, unlike (Y/n)'s father, Jaime' s father was cruel and harsh.

Jamie's father sat in the living with a beer bottle in his hand, waiting for his son's arrival.

As Jaime walked through the door the first words exchanged between step-father and son was the question: "Where we're you? Why were you out so late?" ,Nothing new Jaime.

"I was out with friends....skating at the park" He said nonchalantly.

"Are you sure about that niñito?"

"Positive"

His comes close to his face, "Your lying to me arnt you niño,...You were at that (L/n) House with the stupid girl!"

"She is NOT stupid!"

Jaime is slugged in the face and kicked on the ground. The beetle activated the back and chest plates to help block the damage, but, it still didn't feel good. Jaime HATED his family with fiery passion.

It was the next day and the team were in civil an clothes all hanging out with eachother.
(Y/n) sat with girls and gossiped as she waited for her lover.

Jaime soon came through the door with cuts and bruises on his face and body.

(Y/n) gasps and runs to Jaime. She soft fingers lightly tread over his bruises and curs, observing them. Jaime hisses in pain at her sudden contact. (Y/n) retreats her hand, "Jaime! ¿qué te ha pasado?!" (Y/n) squeaked.

(Jaime! What happened to you?!)

" Mi padre-"

(Y/n) gasps as tears come to her eyes.

"No te preocupes mi amor, estoy bien"

"Don't worry (y/n/n) me and Bats will find a early to make sure that never happens again." Tim says.

"Gracias Tim" (Y/n) says a little less scared for her lover.

Later that week, Jaime's father is apprehended and (Y/n) walking into her house when she is unexpectedly confronted by her father.

"Pa pa"

"Why were you with that Reyes boy"

"What are you talkin-"

"(Y/N)! DON'T. LIE. TO ME."

"Answer me..."

"...I..-well...He's sweet, nice, handsome, and... he cares about me Poppy"

"*sighs* I Forbid you to see him."

"WHAT! NO POPPY! WHY?"

"BECAUSE AS LONG AS YOU LIVE UNDER MY ROOF, YOU LIVE UNDER MY RULES!" Pap said. I flinched under his screaming at me.

"POPPY THIS ISN'T FAIR! I- I LOVE HIM!"

"You will NOT see that boy, EVER. Now go to your room, your grounded."

"I HATE YOU" Her father filmed at her choice of words.

Days had pass, and she would still find a way to talk to the boy.

Jaime would tell her how his mother was becoming an alcoholic. (Y/n) known this meant more bruises.

"Lets leave" she stated.

"What?"

"Lets leave our parents, go run away"

"You'd do that, for me?"

"Yes! That is a stupid question! Of Course I would!"

"Is that really what you want?"

"I'd do anything to be with you..."

"Alright then, I'll be waiting..."

(Y/n) loved her family, even her Poppy. Even though he forbid her from seeing him, Deep down she knew he did it for her.

Later that evening she packed her bags, and was about to climb her window when her father walked in.

"Papa, you can't stop me. I love him"

"...I know so I won't hold you back."

"...What?"

"(Y/n) beautiful little chicka, I love you more than words can describe. Your not a little girl anymore, I see that now. So, because I love, I'll let you go. But promise me you'll visit?"

At this point (Y/n) had tears of happiness down her cheeks, "Thank you Poppy, I never hated you, ever. I know you did it to protect me..."

"That's my job, let's now keep the lil' dipshit waiting..."

"Poppy..." (Y/n) said in a warning tone.

"I'm just playin' baby girl"

"I love you Poppy"

"I love you lol' chicka"

"That freaking nickname, Good-Bye Poppy" she said with a hug and a wave.
