(As Requested this is a Male Reader X Artemis)

There she was, she had just joined this school a couple weeks ago, and she's like best friends with Bette, Dick, and Barbara. No doubt this girl is going to be popular. I shouldn't even bother. 

I sat in gym class on the benches next to my friend Allison and on the other side of me, Grayson kid.  Okay....

"Captains for soccer?" The gym teacher asked.

I saw a couple of people raise their hands.

"You and you" she pointed to two people out of my sight range because I couldn't see most people on this bench.

They both got up and I saw that it was Bette and Barbara. They were pretty cute, just way out of my league.

"You choose first" Bette said.

"Okay Dick" Barbara said, he walked up and stood behind her.

"Uh Hmm Thomas" Bette said, he walked up and stood behind her.

"Artemis" Barbara said.

Okay their teams is gonna wreck Bette's team, I for sure know that.

I started zoning out because I somehow knew was gonna get picked last. Then I heard my name.

"Y/N....." I heard someone say, I looked up and saw it was Barbara. So I ran up behind Artemis. I saw that there were like 13 more kids to be picked, and I wasn't last?

"I hope you're as good with a soccer ball as you are with a basket ball" The Grayson kid whispered at me. 

Then that really hot new girl walked up to me, Artemis.

"Hey I heard you were good at sports, so impress me" She said.

I nodded, okay this girl thinks I'm good at sports, to be honest, I DON'T KNOW IF IM GOOD WITH SPORTS.

So we spread out on the soccer field. Bette had the soccer ball and she was about to score, then Artemis intercepted it and I saw her run, dodging every defense and offense.  Then I saw this guy about to tackle her, she ducked and aimed right between the goalies legs. She walked away like it was some kind of bad-ass movie. To me, kind of.

"You're pretty good at aiming" I shouted to her.

"Thanks I've had some practice" She shouted back.

I started running to the ball and saw that it was being kicked back and forth, so I started running back and forth, I hadn't been looking when I was running towards our field and crashed into Artemis falling on top of her. She started laughing and then I heard a voice.

"HEY ARTEMIS, WAY TO GET TRAUGHT" That Grayson kid shouted

So I helped her up, she gave me a kiss on the cheek and kept running.

Man Artemis Crock had just made my week.
