I'm trying to do a different plot for each of them so it doesn't get boring, but bear with me. If some of them are *kinda* the same, I'm sorry, I'm just Nightwinging it #sorrynotsorry.
Y/N - your name
L/N - last name
Y/F/V/G - your favourite video game (Call Of Duty, Halo, Assassin's creed etc.)

"Hi! This is mine and Dick's video clip for our assignment. We're around a thirty minute drive from Gotham, in Somac Town. There's this old myth about some haunted mailbox around here..." You trailed off, searching through the carpet of orange and brown leaves.
"Rumour has it that in 1946 there was a couple who lived here with their daughter." You spoke to the camera that was trailing along the path of leavers. Your assignment was to make a video based on one of the 'horror' myths of Gotham. You had to do it if you wanted to go to the Halloween dance Gotham Academy was holding. You didn't see why Dick wanted to do it so much, you had no one to go with. You didn't plan on going either, but you didn't want to not let your best friend in the whole world go. You signalled to Dick to carry on the story.
"Oh, yeah, so one day the couple asked the priest to bless their house to ward away the evil spirits they thought haunted it. The priest believed that there was evil spirits haunting it, and declined to bless it, wanting to never be anywhere near the house."
"They accidentally left their daughter there, but thought nothing of it knowing that she would just walk back and would be home soon."
"That night, the wife heard a knocking on her wall coming from the opposite side. She didn't think of it as much because she thought her daughter was telling her she was back, so she knocked back."
"But then her daughter walked in the room, yawning while gripping her teddy. The wife asked her why she was knocking on the wall in her room, when her daughter explained she hadn't been in there, she was just brushing her teeth in the bathroom."
"Later that night, the wife was still awake, she couldn't sleep thinking about what her daughter said. Then suddenly, the lights flickered on and a dark creature was revealed standing at the end of the bed."
"The wife screamed as the creature floated closer, but it was like her husband didn't even hear her. She tried to shake him awake, but when the force rolled him over, he was dead. Worms were crawling out of his mouth, and the whites of his eyes had become a bloody red. All the wife could do was scream. Then, at two fifty-nine, the screaming stopped."
"The townspeople left their houses to investigate, but when they got to where the couple's house was, all they found was an old rusty mailbox. When they opened it, they found a letter saying 'We're coming for you.'."
"Some exorcist claimed that it could answer any questions you had, that theory was made proven when it explained that Earth use to have a single landmass named Pangaea."
You toon out your flashlight to see better, it was almost dark out. You poked Dick's side signalling for him to hurry up, so he walked ahead. Once he reached a certain point, he looked back at you and gave you a surprised face.
"What?" You asked
"I've found it!" He exclaimed.
You ran over, keeping the camera pointed up when you caught sight of the mailbox. It was an off-white colour that was slightly rusty, with a flag thing (anyone know what the hell it's actually called?) that was a worn-out red.
Dick quickly placed lanterns in a circle around it just in case, and you inspected it with the camera.
Once Dick had finished, he explained what you were going to do to the camera.
"Okay, so we're gonna put this letter," he held up a small piece of paper with the word 'hello' on it for the camera to see "in the box, and wait for it to reply."
You nodded to him to put it in, and he did, pulling up the flag. Then you both stepped back as the ground underneath it began to shake, the flag fell down and the shaking stopped.
Dick opened the mailbox, pulling out a maroon envelope with a white seal. He held it up for the camera to see, before opening it.
"'Hello Dick Grayson and Y/N L/N'... Well. That's not creepy at all." He read. You nodded in agreement.
You handed the camera to Dick, and got out another piece of paper. You wrote on it before showing it to the camera.
'Do you have a name?' It said. You placed it in the rusty mailbox before stepping back again when the ground began to shake. When the shaking stopped, you reached back in the box and pulled out an envelope, the same maroon as last time.
'Yes.' It read. You showed it to the camera before writing another note asking what it was.
'Some call us death. Or others may say we are the monster to be feared. All we shall say is that the two of you should stay away unless you would like to receive the same treatment as our last victims.' It ended.
You looked at Dick uncertainly, he looked slightly scared but didn't look like he would be up for leaving.
You wrote another letter asking what happened to them, you already knew about the couple but the letter sounded like it was talking about someone else.
The ground shook again, but instead of another letter coming through, a dark creature was floating a few meters in front of you. Your eyes widened and you looked at Dick, who didn't look anywhere near as scared as you. It was like he had seen stuff like this before, but where the hell could he see stuff like this?
You could hear the creature's heavy breathing. Any other time you would have laughed at how similar it sounded to Darth Vader, but you were frozen in fear. You didn't have time to think about things like that.
"Uhh, Dick... I think we should..." You started, but you couldn't get the words out.
When you forced your head to look away from the mysterious creature to look at Dick, he had worms coming out of his mouth and nose, with blood red eyes. Just like the myth. The camera was dropped to the floor.
You stepped back as the creature floated towards you. You began to run but you were pushed down and held tightly by some sort of invisible force. Was this the end? Was this what the wife felt like in her last moments?
"Y/N? Y/N! You okay?" You heard a voice. Whose was it? Was it some sort of God calling out to you from above. Was this what death was like?
You blinked as a bright light filled your eyesight, but then went quickly dark again. Your eyes refocused to see Dick in front of you. You yelped and scrambled away from him over the leaves on the ground.
"Y/N! You're okay, it's fine, what happened?" He asked. The camera was off and sat on the floor not too far away.
"Y-you were.. And it was... I-"
"Hey, calm down. Try to form an actual sentence. You're clearly not feeling the aster." He gave you a worried face.
"That creature appeared, and you looked like the husband from the story. Then I tried to run away but I was held down." You explained the best you could.
"Oh, sorry, I held you down. When you put the letter in, there was no reply. But then you screamed and tried to run away, so I held you down."
"Oh." You breathed. You would've come up with something wittier to say, but you were caught up in the realisation that what you just went through wasn't real.
"Anyway, we've got the video. We can go back to the manor now." He quickly changed the subject, seeing as you were slightly uncomfortable.
"Mkay."
Once you got back to the manor, you were quickly distracted from the earlier scene with the newest video games. Some that hadn't even come out yet. One of the many great things that comes out of being The Bruce Wayne's ward's best friend.
Once you finished a round of Y/F/V/G, Dick paused the game and turned to you.
"What gives?" You asked him, slightly annoyed. You were totally on a roll back there killing V/G/E.
"Sorry, but I wanted to say this now before I chicken out. Totally not whelming."
"Go on?"
"I- uh, don't know how to say this," he chuckled "y'know that Halloween dance coming up? I wanted to ask you if you would go with me, not just as my friend, as a date? I know you probably don't feel the same way and probably hate me now but just hear me out. Back at Somac, when you were dead scared, and tried to run away I uh- I hated to see you so scared. And I wanted to protect you from whatever you were scared of. It made me realise how I really felt about you. And if you actually hate me now for this, I'll just stay away from you as much as I can and-"
"Dick, shut up. You haven't given me any time to reply. I love you too, and I'd love to go to the Halloween dance with you."
You placed a quick peck to his lips.
"Hey! You can't do that!" He exclaimed, before kissing you back. This one was longer and more loving. "I didn't get to kiss you back." He stated after he pulled away.

Crap. That was long and cliché. Sorry. I tried. I'm also sorry for not incorporating Robin into this, 'cause Dick gets another one for Nightwing I wanted to focus more on the civilian side of him for Robin. I feel like he needs to have kind of 'normal' life. Well, as normal as he can have considering he dresses as a bird and screws with criminals at night. Whelp, I've got a ton more of these to write now. Wish me luck!
Stay crash,
