*Wally's P.O.V*

Today was the day. The day I was going to propose to Y/N. I mean, we'd been together for six years now, and today was our anniversary! What better day to pop the question?

Last night I had stayed at Dick's. He wanted this day to be amazing for me, so he helped to plan out what we were going to do.

I looked out of the window and saw a blue, cloudless sky. 'Perfect weather.' I thought. I hopped out of the warmth of the bed and quickly got dressed, before texting Y/N.

Hey babe, I'll be home in 50. 50 seconds! Be ready 😘 X

'She's use to getting ready quickly, she won't mind, right?' I worried, I wanted today to be perfect. I pushed the thoughts to the back of my mind as her reply came through.

Will be, Wallman 😘 X

I smiled widely and started running to our house. True to my text, it had been exactly... 46 seconds. I waited a few before knocking on the wooden door and waiting for her to open it, before attacking her with a hug.

"Wally!" She squirmed to get out of my grasp.

"I'll never let you go, Jack!" I said in a high pitched voice, holding her close. She giggled, trying to get out of my grip, which she failed at, before turning to face me and throwing her soft lips against my own. I happily kissed back and moved my hands down to her waist. Then, she pulled away and I frowned.

"Why'd you tease me?" I whined.

"Because otherwise I'd still be in that death grip of yours." She said, gesturing to my arms "Plus, we haven't even got in the house yet!"

I put my hands up in surrender and stepped through the doorway into the hallway. "So, what was so important that you came home at..." She glanced at her watch before continuing "6:30?"

'Great. I didn't look at the time.' I mentally cursed myself. But, remembering it was our six year anniversary, I frowned. "You forgot?" I questioned her.

Her face broke into a wide smile. "How could I forget, it's our six year anniversary!" She dragged me through to the kitchen. "And I got you your favourite food; everything." Her H/C locks swayed as she opened the fridge to reveal cake, chicken, ice cream, you name it, it was there.

"Babe, you're the best!" I exclaimed. Before kissing her temple and taking out some waffles to make for us.

-----le timeskip and it is now 2:00-----

"Shit!" I mumbled under my breath. But N/N caught it.

"What's wrong, Walls?" She questioned.

"Oh! Ah, uhh nothing?" I babbled.  Truth is, I had forgotten that we were gonna go for a walk in the park near our house and we would have a picnic for lunch. We were supposed to be there half an hour ago. Dick would've set the stuff out by now!

"Hey, how about we go for a walk? In that park near us?" I asked nonchalantly, hoping she'd buy it.

"Sure, why not?" She said, cheerily.

-----------le 'Nother timeskip (God, how many will there beeeee???)---------------

We had gotten to the park and I led us around to the trees where we use to hide away from the world. Perfect, Dick had laid everything out. Remind he to thank him later.

"Wally?" Y/N asked, probably wondering why there was a picnic basket set out on the grass along with a checkered red and white blanket.

"Yep. I thought it would be a special place to have a picnic for our six year anniversary." I said, putting emphasis on the six.

We sat down and started to eat the contents of the basket. 'Today is perfect so far.' I thought.

--------------wow look another timeskip what's this like the third one in this chapter no way wow can't believe it I should really stop being lazy and just write the whole thing---------------------

So far, today had been perfect. Now was the last part. The part I had nervously been looking forward to all day. The part where I take the most beautiful girl I've ever seen to dinner at a nice restaurant and propose to her. I got butterflies in my stomach just thinking about it.

I waited for her to change into a dress I had bought her specially for today. She complained and told me to take it back, but I didn't. It was a short F/C dress. I had bought her a necklace to go with it, but she didn't know- yet.

"I'm ready!" Came Y/N's sweet voice from behind the White door of our bedroom. She stepped out. She. Looked. Perfect.

I slid my arms around her in another hug, but this time she didn't try to get out. After a while I slid behind her and placed the necklace around her neck. It was a silver locket with a picture of me and her inside, on our first date.

She laughed at the memory. We had gone bowling and I had told her about how amazing I was at it. But I was definitely just having a bad day and she beat me. But only by 20 points! So, okay, okay, maybe I was bragging.

I gave her S/C cheek a quick kiss, scooped her up bridal style, and started speeding off to the restaurant.

Once I got relatively close, I turned down an alleyway. It was safer than one in Gotham, anyway. I stopped and placed her down on the ground.

"Shall we go?" I asked in a horribly bad British accent.

"We shall." She replied. Her accent was no where near as good as mine!... Fine, fine, it was a lot better than mine.

We started walking to the restaurant, hand in hand. Once we arrived, a waitress showed us to our table and took our drinks. She gave us each a menu to look at and left us to decide on our food.

"So, Walls, what made you pick this place?" She asked, looking into my green eyes.

"Oh, I- Dick recommend it to me. He said Bruce took him here once and that it was really nice." I said, my hand grasping the small ring box in my pocket.

She nodded, and went back to the menu.

Once the waitress came back again, we ordered our food. I was getting more and more nervous by the attosecond. What if she refuses? What if she's not ready for that? What if she secretly hates me and only calls herself my girlfriend so as not to break my heart? I tried to push away the thoughts and looked everywhere but my beautiful girlfriend.

Of course, she picked up on this. "Wally, what's wrong? Something bothering you?"

I opened my mouth to speak, but no words came out. I tried again and, thank God, I could actually speak. "I- Uhh... No. Nope nothing wrong with me!" I said, probably really unbelievably.

She raised an eyebrow. "There is, babe, considering we've been together six years now I think I know when you're lying."

I sighed in defeat. "Well, I was going to wait until we got our food but I guess if I don't do it now, I'll chicken out." With that, I stood up from my seat and got down on one knee. "Y/N L/N, we've been together for six years now, and every single one of those have been amazing. You're the most loving, caring, kind person I know. And it would make me the happiest man alive if you spent the rest of your life with me, so, Y/N, will you marry me?"

She looked at me in disbelief, before blurting out a "yes! Yes, of course I'll say yes!" I stood up and kissed her sweetly. Her soft lips moulded into mine perfectly. And in that moment, all of my fears melted away.

Today was perfect.

God, that was cheesy and bad. Sorry! Also, sorry for the massive amount of time skips!
