"I'm telling you; they won't be able to!" Dick argued.

"I bet they could, I have faith in 'em."

"I bet you're wrong."

"You heard it!" Roy exclaimed. "First one to spell 'Apothiosis' get's to choose what Robin dresses up as for Halloween!"

"WHAT? NO! I DIDN'T AGREE TO-"

"A-P-O-T-H-I-O-S-I-S!" Wally shrieked.

"See, Rob, I knew he could do it." Roy smirked. 

"ROBIN HAS TO DRESS UP IN PIXIE BOOTS!" 

Dick gaped. "NO! NO!NO!NO!!" He shouted. 

"Again," Artemis shouted. "What is Pixie boots? You guys always use it as a cheat code to make Robin buy you stuff! WHat does it mean?"

Roy smirked devalishly "You'll find out in sixteen days!"

"NO! They won't!" Dick exclaimed.

"Either that, or you can dress up as Slutty Fred Flintstone." Wally chided. Dick seemed to be considering it. "NO WAY, I'm kidding! You HAVE to!"

Roy nodded. "You guys are gonna love this! Don't worry, Walls, I'll make sure he dresses up"

October 31st, 4:45pm

The team, and Zatanna, was essembled in the livingroom, working on their costumes for later that night. Except Kaldur, who was just grilling them on what the hell Halloween is. 

Conner and M'gann had extended invitations to their school's halloween party, but Bats didn't want Dick out around teenagers late at night, and was making him go to a league meeting instead.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!" Roy announced. "I now present to you, the blinding circus fit, the original design of the Robin costume.... PIXIE BOOTS!" He jumped out of the way, reveiling the boy behind him.

Robin wore a short golden cape, a tight red tunic with bright green sleaves, a yellow utility belt, THE SHORTEST, BRIGHT GREEN, SPANDEX, SHORT SHORTS, and the worlds most adorable little green booties.

They were... stunned at first. Astounded by the traffic light blur before them. Then the dam of laughter broke.

Dick's face turned as bright red as his costume.

"THAT WAS THE ROBIN COSTUME?" Artemis howled.

"GOTHAM FEARS HIM!" Wally choked.

The team was doubled over and lying on the floor, loosing it. They were laughing to hard they were almost choking on air.

Kaldur tried not to laugh, he didn't want to humiliate Robin even further. But it was hard, because the sight was definitavely THE FUNNIEST thing ever.

"Whatever. " Dick muttered angrily, face glowing crimson with heat. "I wore it when I was like, eight."

"Eight?" Roy laughed. "DUDE, you got your first costume change for your twelfth birthday!"

"But Robin's only thirteen!" Zatanna exclaimed trying to contain her entertainment.

"Yea, yea." He sat next to Wally, glaring at him. 

"You look cute." The redhead grinned.

"Get fucked."

"Fuck me yourself, coward."

Dick hated having to sit in on this meeting. They already had Aqualad! Don't get him wrong, he LOVED being included by the league, but it was HALLOWEEN! Let him have some fun before he was too old!

He was checked out of the meeting, staring at his phone. Wally and M'gann were keeping their Snapchat and instagrams updated with pics of the party. It looked sick. And here he was in his dumb old Robin suit staring at his phone.

"Robin, do you have any ideas?"

SHIT! Bats notices he was spacing out! He was going to have to bullshit this...

"UH, Ideas, uh... Bubble tea, exept it's just a guy drinking baked beans out of a plastic cup."

"Someone's been awake to long..." Oliver chuckled.

"I'm fine, no, I'm paying attention!" He put down his phone. "Inflitrators, yeah, I think the team is secure, though..."

"We stopped debating those accusations half-an-hour ago."

"I... knew that." He got up. "May I be excused?" He asked politely.

Wally was back by nine, burnt out and laughing it up withj the other two. Dick felt left out.

"Hey boyo!" Wally leaned forwards, burying his face in Dick's fluffy hair. "How was your night?"

"Bad. Bats won't let me go out alone yet!"

"I swear he still thinks you're eight!" Wally flopped on the couch next to him. There was an opened box of candy on the table. Wally reached in and grabbed a handful. "Is the league still at it?"

Dick nodded. "They will be for a while, I just got SO BORED!"

"Oof. Let's put something on tv! Ever watched the Addams Family Values?"

"No." Dick admitted.

"How about Hocus Pocus?"

"What?"

"YOU'VE NEVER SEEN HOCUS POCUS?" Wally gaped, Coffee Crisp poking out of his mouth. "We NEED to watch it!"

"Okay." Dick relented. "I'm gonna put on some green tea."

"Get back quickly."

"-I SAYY BYE BYYYYYYEEEEEEEE!" Wally belted, having stood up from excitement.

"Holy crap!" Dick exclaimed. "This is AWESOME!"

"I know, right!" Wally cracked open another box of candy. "And after this, ask Bats to stay so we can watch Addams Family!"

"No, you ask him!"

"He'll say no unless you ask him!"

"Fine!" Dick slumped down in the couch, cracking open a pack of sour skittles. "Wally! Cuddle!" He ordered.

"Okay, okay." The redhead flopped down and pulled him closer, leaving a kiss on the younger boy's cheek. "My little Robin."

Dick smiled. "My big dumbass!"

Wally ran a hand over Dick's exposed legs. "Did you shave for this?"

"A little."

"I like it." Wally smirked. The boy's legs were so soft. "You cold?" 

Dick nodded mutely, leaning against Wally's chest. The redhead grabbed a furry throw blanket and covered them. Dick smiled, nuzzling closer. He kicked of his pixie boots and tucked his legs under the blanket.

"Can I have a starburst?" He muttered, eyes glued to the screen and body glues against Wally's.

Wally unwrapped a pink starburst and popped it into Dick's mouth. "Bon appitite."

"Thanks." Dick chewed on the candy, leaning into his boyfriend. "Happy Halloween, Wally."

Wally kissed the top of his head gently. "I love you."

"I love you."

-FUN FACT: the idea for this part is what first inspired this whole book. I always thought Dick was CHEATED in 'Secrets'. Poor boy deserves a better halloween!-
