"So, how long have you been here? On Earth, I mean." Zatanna asked Kara.

"I just got here yesterday!" Kara answered. She had already changed into her Supergirl outfit. She had a red cape with a red skirt. Then she wore a blue half-cut shirt with an "S" on the front.

"Do you have the same powers as Superman?" M'gann asked.

"Let's see, I have super strength, I have x-Ray vision, heat vision, frost breath, I can fly, and that's about it!" Supergirl answered.

"Wow. She has more powers than Conner!" Artemis said.

"Who's Conner?" Supergirl asked. They all looked at Artemis, who just slapped her hand on her face.

"That's Superboy's Earth name, just like yours is....Kara Kent. Superboy's is Conner Kent. Con-El is his Kryptonian name." M'gann explained. Supergirl nodded in understanding.

"Kara Kent...that doesn't sound so bad..." Supergirl considered as they arrived in Metropolis.

"Okay, girls. Casual stealth. We don't want to draw attention. Let's go." Batgirl said, "M'gann, link us up. When we're out, everyday names only." Batgirl said.

>> Everyone online? << Megan asked.

>> Barbara Gordon, ready. <<

>> Artemis Crock, ready. <<

>> Zatanna Zatara, ready. <<

>> Kara Kent, ready. <<

>> And Nightwing, ready. << Nightwing responded on the psychic link once they've all checked in,

>> Have you noticed Kara now knows all your secret identities.<< Nightwing added.

>> It's fine. We trust her now. << Barbara said as the team scattered through the crowd.

>> Smile. Pretend you're talking to someone. Try to keep eye contact with each other to a minimum. We don't want to look like those creepy suspicious body guards at a bar or something. << Artemis said.

>> Anyone see anything yet? << Barbara asked about half an hour later.

>> Everything here looks fine. << Zatanna responded.

>> Same here. << Artemis responded.

>> Nothing suspicious... << Megan added.

>> That's weird... the Light couldn't just let something like this slide! << Barbara said.

>> Um, guys? << Kara asked.

>> If the person you're looking at looks like a queen, that could be Queen Bee! << Barbara immediately said. They were all silent, >> Sorry...really tired. What is it Kara? <<

>> Is it normal to be able to see a guy's brain? << Kara asked. They were all silent.

>> Um, maybe it's your x-ray vision? << Zatanna asked.

>> No. I know when I'm using x-ray vision and when I'm not, and I'm not. I can see through a guy's head, and he has a pretty big brain. << Kara said.

>> Wait a minute. Where is he? << Megan asked.

>> Just behind the stage. It looks like he got over the security bars or something and nobody even noticed! << Kara responded as she examined the area.

>> Girls. Move. NOW. Kara, stay where you are and keep your eyes on him. We're heading there now. Try not to draw attention. << Barbara ordered.

>> W-why? Do you guys know him or something? << Kara asked stuttering in slight fear.

>> His name is Psimon. He's bad news. << Megan answered.

>> Wait, doesn't that mean he can sense us? << Artemis asked.

>> Okay, girls. Suit up. But out of his line of sight. Get out of there Kara, but stay whelmed. As long as he doesn't see you, you're good. << Nightwing assured Kara.

>> Thanks. Good thing he won't even recognize me. He's never seen me before. << Kara said as she watched Psimon cautiously. Then she walked backwards slowly, then when she made sure he wasn't looking her way, she walked away from the crowd casually. Then she ran into Miss Martian, who was in stealth mode. She put a finger up to her mouth, shushing Kara from screaming.

>> What are we going to do about him? << Kara asked.

>> Follow him. Not obviously, though. You two follow him. The rest of us will watch Noor. << Batgirl ordered.

>> Good thing he has no idea who I am. What do I do if he finds out? << Kara asked.

>> Then your cover's blown. Just fight back, and if you're having more trouble than you thought, you can call for back-up. << Nightwing answered.

>> Okay, let's go girls. << Barbara said. The mission was on.

>> The ceremony's almost over. << Zatanna said.

>> That's weird. But nothing's happened yet...how's Psimon? << Batgirl asked.

>> Huh, he hasn't moved yet. << Kara said. It was true. Psimon was still in the same position in the same place as he was about an hour ago. Suddenly, there was an explosion at the building behind them.

>> What happened?! << Zatanna asked.

>> I have no idea. Someone go check it out! Kara and I are preoccupied watching Noor. For all we know, this could be a distraction so that they could hurt her! << Miss Martian said.

>> Then what are we waiting for? Let's go! << Artemis said as she, Batgirl and Zatanna headed for the burning building.

>> Kara, act as confused and scared as everyone else, but don't exaggerate. You need to maintain your cover. << M'gann said. Kara nodded and acted out the situation best she can. Then she and M'gann saw Psimon. He watched Batgirl, Artemis, and Zatanna as they disappeared. Then he spoke into his transmitter.

"The twerps are gone. The bait worked perfectly." Kara heard Psimon say with her super hearing powers.

>> I knew it! The building was bait! << Kara said.

>> Stay alert, Kara. Don't let Noor out of your sight. << M'gann said. Then Kara heard the voice from Psimon's transmitter.

"Very good. Get her now." the voice said.

"Already done. It should take effect in a few more minutes. In other words, we're done here." Psimon said as he turned to leave.

>> Wait, he said the job is done! He hasn't done anything! << Kara said.

>> He's leaving! Go after him! << Batgirl ordered. Kara and M'gann looked at each other and M'gann flew after him. Kara started casually fast-walking towards Psimon. Kara took off her clothes and exposed her Supergirl outfit underneath. Then she flew ahead of Psimon and stopped him in surprise.

"Oh ho! I've never met you before!" Psimon chuckled.

"No need!" Supergirl said and blasted him with her heat vision. He flew backwards. While he was still caught off guard, she used her frost breath and froze him to the ground. Then she froze his brain so he couldn't use any psychic attacks against her.

"You must be Superman's girlfriend, or might you be Superboy's girlfriend?" Psimon asked. Then Miss Martian came into view anger steaming off of her.

"I'M Superboy's girlfriend." She said as she got out of stealth mode. Psimon gasped and gulped in worry, "now tell us what you did to Noor Harjavti!"

"Why, Ms. Harjavti? All I did was pat her on the head for good luck! Then she allowed me to remain back stage! Isn't that nice? I never did a thing!" Psimon lied.

"You're a bad liar." Supergirl said and she froze the rest of his torso and below.

"I'm not lying." Psimon lied again. Supergirl to Miss Martian, who nodded, and she froze the rest of his body up to his neck.

"Okay, okay. It wouldn't matter anyways. She's probably already brainwashed by now, since I set it to go into effect several minutes ago." Psimon answered. Miss Martian and Supergirl looked at each other in shock.

"How did..." M'gann muttered.

"Just a new trick up my sleeve." Psimon said. Then Supergirl froze the rest of his face, leaving him entirely frozen in a block of ice.

"We have no need for him anymore." Supergirl said. Then she and Miss Martian flew back to the stage. They saw Noor and her bodyguards laying on the ground. Batgirl, Artemis, and Zatanna returned from the smoking building.

"We were able to put the fire out. But what happened here?!" Batgirl asked. Supergirl sighed as Miss Martian put her hand on Noor's neck checking her pulse.

"She's alive. But she was brainwashed by Psimon." Miss Martian said as she got up and everyone stood gaping, "we don't know how long she's going to be like this, but who knows how much she'll know by the time she wakes up."

"Well, we need to get Noor and her bodyguards back to the cave so that we could keep an eye on them." Batgirl said, then she turned to Miss Martian and Supergirl, "can you two get them into the Bioship?" They both nodded and Miss Martian brought the ship to them and they brought the victims in and they headed back to the cave.

"It was a good thing you brought them here." Aqualad said as the Alpha Squad stood in front of him and Nightwing.

"We need to help them in any way we can." Zatanna said.

"And you have. It's also good to see you're all alright." Nightwing said. They all nodded.

"We'll make sure to watch all three of them." Aqualad said.

"But the mission wasn't a complete failure!" Batgirl said as she held a bomb towards Nightwing, who looked at it in worry. Batgirl saw his face and laughed, "don't worry. We obtained it before it could go off. Zatanna said a spell to permanently disarm it. It's safe." Batgirl explained, and most of the people in the room let out a sigh of relief.

"let me see it." Nightwing said and he held out his hand. She gave it to him as he inspected it. Then his eyes opened wide with surprise.

"What?" Artemis asked.

"This bomb...it's Lexcorp." Nightwing said and he showed them the glowing green "L" on the bottom.

"See? Not a total failure!" Batgirl said, earning her a glare from Nightwing. Aqualad walked up to Supergirl.

"So are you joining the team?" he asked. Supergirl looked around at everyone as they watched and waited for her answer. Then she looked at Aqualad and smiled, "definitely!"
