Miss Martian parked the Bioship underneath the Reach ship, and they entered through the bottom, where, hopefully, no one would even suspect that they were there....but they were wrong.

"Blue, have you located him?" Aqualad asked on the comm.

"We brought in Zatanna...again. She located him and we have our eyes on his location on the ship right now." Blue replied.

"Good. Lead the way." Aqualad said.

"It will most likely be heavily guarded, so be aware." Impulse said.

"Stay whelmed." Superboy said.

"Wait....that's weird...turns out there's someone else too...we don't know who it is, though." Blue said.

"It could just be an innocent civilian. We'll rescue him too." Aqualad said.

"Um, you guys might wanna get going." Impulse said.

"Reach soldiers right behind you." Blue said. They all turned around and saw about eight Reach soldiers.

"Wow...could've warned us sooner?" Tigress asked.

"Sorry." Blue apologized.

"Never mind that now. We must fight." Aqualad said.

"To get Dick back." Tigress said as she drew her sword.

"Let's do this." Aqualad said. Then they all ran up to the army and easily took them out in less than a minute.

"Okay. Make a left and go up the stairs." Blue said. They followed his directions and soon they found themselves hiding behind a wall, because on the other side, they could see a large group of Reach soldiers, and they knew among that group was the Reach Ambassador, his head Scientist, and Black Beetle, only he still didn't have any armor.

"Ambassador, go get another test ready. Our MFD has landed." The scientist said.

"Of course." The Ambassador bowed before her and walked out of the room.

>> So I guess the Reach Scientist became the new leader. << M'gann said.

>> But what does she mean when she says the MFD landed? << Superboy asked.

>> Does that mean that that huge twister thing was caused by the MFD too?! Just like in Antarctica when--<<

>> Shh... << Aqualad shushed M'gann midsentence.

"So we have more meat?" Black Beetle asked.

"Indeed. We will test it immediately." Scientist said.

>> That's Dick. I just know it. << Tigress said.

"But this new meat is exactly the same as the other meat." Black Beetle said.

"That inference is incorrect, Beetle. This new meat has no powers of any sort." Scientist said.

>> What? Does that mean the other civilian on this ship has superpowers? << M'gann asked.

>> That is very possible. << Aqualad said.

"It's a very good thing this meat isn't as problematic as the other one." Black Beetle said.

"Indeed." Scientist said as the two of them walked into a Reach Lab. The door locked and there were guards in front of the doors.

>> They're in there. << Superboy said.

>> Should we wait? << M'gann asked.

>> No. Go. Now. << Aqualad ordered, and the four ran out and fought their way to the door. When they finally cleared the room, Aqualad tried opening the door.

"It's stuck. Miss Martian." Aqualad called. M'gann flew up to the door then used her psychic abilities and took the door apart. Then an alarm blared through the ship.

"Everyone, in." Aqualad commanded. They all ran in, then M'gann turned around and put the door back together and locked it to keep any Reach soldiers from coming in.

"We just locked ourselves in. There's no going back now." Superboy said.

"The Meat!" Black Beetle yelled.

"Don't let them near the test subjects!" Scientist commanded.

"Too bad none of you can fight." Tigress said.

"Quick. Call in security and--" But before Scientist could finish her command, M'gann had used her mind to hold them against the wall. Then she took some metal tubes and tied them to the wall.

"There. Have fun hanging out." M'gann smirked.

"You will not be able to get to the subjects without the code!" Scientist yelled.

"We do not require a code." Aqualad said as Superboy ran up to the door and smashed it open. Then another set of alarms went off.

"Let's go. "M'gann said and they ran into the room. There were clouds of smoke everywhere, so they weren't able to see clearly enough until the smoke cleared.

"I see two pods..." Aqualad said.

"Reminds me of my Cadmus pod, to be honest." Superboy said.

"Okay, here we go..." Tigress said as she walked up to the control panel. She typed on the keyboard, then pressed a red button. The pods opened and smoke filled the room again. The four superheroes heard two people fall onto the ground in front of the pods.

"Dick?" Tigress called. She ran in front of one of the pods and saw the person: It was Nightwing. He groaned as he started getting up.

"A-Artemis?" Nightwing asked.

"It's him!" Tigress smiled and she wrapped her arms around him, "you're not dead!"

"I thought I was for a while, though." Nightwing smiled.

"We have to get out of here, before the Reach Soldiers find a way in." Aqualad said.

"We need to get this second person, first." Superboy said as he gestured towards the second pod.

"Who is it?" M'gann asked as she flew over to the second person, who had started groaning too. Then they heard a gasp.

"M'gann?!" Superboy called through the smoke. Then they saw her backing up, hand cupped over her mouth, tears streaming down her face.

"What is it?" Aqualad asked.

"...Wa..." M'gann gasped as she cried.

"What?" Tigress asked.

"Yeah...I meant to tell you if I ever got back to you.." Nightwing said as he got up. Then the person in the smoke got up and walked over to them, and they all gasped at the red head wearing yellow and red.

"Wally?!" Superboy said. Tigress stood up, tears filled her eyes.

"What took you guys so long?" Kid Flash himself, not dead, laughed. Tigress took off her mask, ran up to him and wrapped her arms around him, tears streaming down her face.

"I missed you Arty." Kid Flash smiled.

"I missed you too." Artemis cried. He pulled away to kiss her, but then she leaned back a little.

"What's wrong?" Kid Flash asked.

"It's nothing." Artemis said, "we need to get out of here first." The team ran out of the room. But when they ran out, they were surrounded by Reach soldiers.

"Ah...too late." Superboy said.

"Are you two well enough to fight?" Aqualad asked.

"Sure. We can take'em." Nightwing said as he cracked his knuckles.

"Just like old times. Just the six of us." Kid Flash smiled as he put his red goggles over his eyes.

"Let's do this." Aqualad said, and they all ran through the group and fought all the soldiers together. As a team. Like old times.

"We can't let them get away!" Scientist yelled as she, Black Beetle, and the Reach Ambassador struggled to get free after being attached to the wall by Miss Martian.

"Well, too late." M'gann said as she shut the door and locked them in.

"We did it!" Tigress beamed.

"I really missed you guys." Kid Flash smiled as he walked up to Tigress and M'gann, then wrapped his arms around both of them, and they hugged him back. Then Superboy and Aqualad joined them and put their arms around them. Then he looked at Nightwing, who was still standing in front of him, "C'mon, Dick. I know we had a handful of fights and disagreements, but if it weren't for you, I never would've gotten rescued. Besides, that's what a best pal's for, and you're my best pal." Nightwing looked at him, scoffed, then joined the group hug.

"So what now?" Superboy asked.

"Now, we head back to the cave." Aqualad said. They all nodded and headed back to the Bioship.
