(In this one shot it's a wally x oc so I made it where Artemis and Roy are a couple cause low key I ship it don't hate me lol.)

Part 1 (Wally x OC)

Wally didn't know where he was, the last thing he remembered was telling his Uncle goodbye as he ran into the speed force to save the world. God his mom was going to kill him. He thought of all his friends and grew more and more depressed.

Why can't I stop running?

His feet never stopped moving as his thoughts moved around his head. Was this his forever now, running till the end.

He always did want to go out with a show he just thought it would be quicker than this. Time was nonexistent in the speed force, years could have passed and Wally would never have known. The scenery around him was just flashes of colors swimming by him at light speed but suddenly a burst of light in front of him had him running faster.

What was that?

A way out maybe?

It seemed that the light was getting farther and farther from him, pushing himself harder he worked to get to it. He wasn't going to give up on this chance to go home just because he was tired.

With a sudden shock that felt surprisingly like when he got sucked in her he found himself flying out running head first into a brick wall.

A groan left his lips as he rubbed his sore head slowly sitting up but froze when he heard a soft giggle that sounded like it was being covered up with a cough. Turning slowly, he looked up meeting soft green eyes that swam with a hidden amusement. Light red hair was piled on her head as she tilted her head slightly in curiosity. She was beautiful.

"Are you alright?"

"I don't know? I must have died and gone to heaven because you are an angel," His flirtatious ways showing as he gave her a croaked smile watching as she rolled her eyes but laughed good naturedly.

"Not heaven, but you might have a concussion from running face first into a brick wall."

"Could be right," Wally said as he slowly stood noticing that he was still in his uniform.

"So, where you headed to Comic-Con?" the girl questioned with a raised brow confusing Wally. What the hell was a Comic-Con. "My roommate is there right now, she's a real batman enthusiast. I'm meeting her there,"

"Uh ya, question, where are we?" looking around the street for something familiar but found nothing.

"You really did hit your head hard," she mumbled looking closer at him. "You're in Dallas, Texas."

Texas damn that wasn't even close to Central City. Checking his wrist computer, he noticed it was dead.

"Are you sure you're ok?" the pair had begun to make their way down the street after Wally suggested they walk together. It wasn't long before they could see a large stadium with people in costumes milling about. Where the hell was he.

It was like a superhero convention for regular people.

"Uh ya I'm fine,"

"So, what's your name?" She turned her head as we got closer to the entrance, people were lined up and being ushered in slowly.

"Can't tell you, secret identity," Wally said pointing at his mask.

"You're really sticking to character huh?" she said with a laugh. "Hey there is my roommate," a tall dirty blonde-haired girl jumped up and down in line waving her hands to get our attention.

"Maddie! Come on!" she screamed excitedly, she wore a batman shirt tucked into shorts with converse on. A toned-down outfit compared to the man next to her who seemed to be in a full green arrow costume.

"I'm coming calm down," we walked towards her quickly getting in the line. "Charlie this is...well I don't know his name he said it was a secret but I meet him on the way here."

"Well why don't we just call him Kid Flash, that's who he's dressed as. I'm Charlie it's nice to meet you," ok at least where ever he was Kid Flash existed. "Sick costume by the way, it looks so real,"

"thanks, but between me and you it is real," he said waiting for them to freak out that they were indeed in front of the real kid flash. Charlie on the other hand giggle loudly.

"Oh my gosh you must practice this, you sound and look exactly like Wally West," he was frozen in place as he stared at her. How? What was going on?

"thanks," he said softly confusion leaking in his voice. It had an edge of fear as he looked the two seemingly harmless girls over.

"wait which Wally West are you though? This is a very important question so answer carefully," Maddie asked suspiciously.

"Which Wally West?" nervousness filled him as he looked around ready to be under attack any minute now.

"Ya, are you comic book Wally West, justice league Wally West or Young Justice Wally West?"

Where the fuck was he? And matter of fact who the fuck was he?

"Uh Young Justice," his answer came out as a question as he wondered how they knew his teams name and why the hell they called him a comic book.

"Yes, good answer. Charlie and I love that TV show,"

It clicked suddenly for him, he was in another dimension. A place where he was a character not a real person. He changed his mind in that moment, this was hell.

The trio made their way into the building the girls wandering forward.

"Hey KF," Charlie said getting his attention. "So are you meeting friends here or did you come solo,"

"Solo," he said quickly hoping that he didn't sound lame.

"Well then if you want why don't you hang with us,"

"Char don't make him, he might not even want to hang with us,"

"hush I'm asking him not you," she said waving off an embarrassed looking Maddie. "So, what do you say?" thinking over it he decided that it could be worse. At least now he got to hang out with the pretty red head. The blonde seemed nice and all but she just wasn't his type.

"Sure, why not," he gave them a smile and followed after them through the crowded arena.

The day flew by as Wally felt like he was over loaded with information about himself and the other heroes he had grown up knowing. he had been stopped multiple times for pictures because his suit looked to good which he complied with much to the girl's amusement.

He grew to like them both quickly. Charlie had a quick wit to her and a petty side that showed quickly when someone pushed Maddie in a line. She proceeded to rip the person apart verbally till they left the line shaking. Maddie seemed content to watch explaining that this was a usual occurrence in their friend group. It made him think of Dick and how he thought that he and Charlie would get along well, maybe too well. Like two birds of a feather. Huh that would be a good book title that could possible span into a trilogy but who was he to say such a thing.

Maddie on the other hand had a goofy sense of humor, laughing the loudest at the jokes she made. She was adorable and a bit unobservant which lead her to being the one who had actually bumped the person in line. Thus, the pushing.

We all got along great and soon I was forgetting, if not for just a moment that I was alone in a foreign place. The only luck I had was that I at least had an emergency stash of credit cards and money in my suit. It was enough to feed and house me for at least a month and buy clothing to wear. I made a mental note to thank Batman for the large sum of money, that is if I ever had the change to.

"Hey, you still in there," a hand waved in front of his face knocking him back to reality.

Shaking his head, he put a fake smile on his face blocking out the dark thoughts that threatened to drag him over the abyss.

"Ya I'm good, just zoned out," ignoring their concerned look he pointed at something that he hopped would catch their attention. It succeeded and he was quickly off the hook.

Sooner than later the day came to end and they found themselves in a diner that Charlie happened to work at when she wasn't in school studying for her Bachelor's degree. She owned a German Shepard named princess that she said looked like an attack dog but acted like a lap dog. She had given her life story on the short walk here, now it was Maddie's turn.

"Well I work at a little boutique and I am working towards a degree in accounting. I also have a cat named Fred who is my furry child," taking her phone she showed him a picture of an overweight orange cat that looked so happy for its own good.

"Cute," he said with a nod making her smile like a proud mother.

"What about you?" Maddie said leaning forward gazing at him making him lose his train of thought for a moment as he got caught in her green eyes. A cough brought Wally back to earth making his freckled face go red but the speedster quickly recovered. Charlie was starting at them will a sly grin making Wally think she was planning something evil.

He decided that there was no harm in telling the truth seeing as he didn't actually exist here in their world so what was the harm.

"Well I am in school getting a degree in forensic science and chemistry," they both looked at him with wide eyes.

"damn," Charlie said. "RIP to you my friend," she joked making them all laugh.

they all ordered their food, the girls didn't even seem shocked by Wally's large order taking it all in strides. Pulling his mask off finally, he rubbed his face watching as Maddie stared at him. She went red as he caught her but only received a wink in reply.

"And the mask is off," she said hiding her cheeks. "So, going to finally tell us your name?"

Name, he needed a name.

"uh ya sure its...William East," Wally did an internal face palm as he thought of the name. I'm an idiot, he thought with a mental eye roll.

"William East...hm cool," they both seemed to buy it making him let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

"So, Will...can I call you Will?" Charlie paused mid-sentence to look at Wally for permission which he granted with a quick nod of his head. It wasn't his real name why should he care how someone used it. "Cool, so do you live around here?" her words caught both the red heads attentions as they all waited for the response.

"Ya actually, I just moved in town but I'm staying at a hotel at the moment. I should be moving into my apartment in the next few days," He was quick on his feet, and luckily today it meant that he was quick with his words.

"Oh, that's awesome," Charlie said smiling like a cat that just ate a canary, poor tweety bird. "Isn't that just great news Maddie" she questioned looking over at her friend who nodded smiling in Wally's direction.

"Does that mean you will be attending UNI here as well?" Maddie added on to the earlier question.

"Well I kind of need to apply first so we will see," Wally said laughing a little so they knew it wasn't a rough subject.

"I'm sure you'll get in, you have to be smart to major in your field," Maddie said supportively making him grin back at her.

It was easy for them all, it was like they were all just meant to be friends. The rest of the day past far too quickly for any of them to be fully satisfied with their new-found bonds. Charlie had wormed her way into his heart with her mildly inappropriate humor and Maddie made him think that staying in this dimension would not be so bad if he could stare at her just a few moments longer. There was something about the red head that made him want to never find a way home. Wally shook the thought out of his head as soon as it came. He just meet the girl what was he even saying.

But it wasn't just a one day meet them and leave them scenario. Wally soon found himself spending all his free time with the girls. He had found an apartment quickly after his first night of being there and soon after got excepted into the university they went to. A few foraged documents weren't too hard to make for him. He found a job a few days after that as a tech assistant for geek squad, looks like paying attention to Night Wing actually paid off for once.

It had been three weeks in this dimension and he was thriving, but there was one thing still weighing on his mind. What was his team doing in this moment, were they looking for him, missing him or had they given up hope? He felt guilt slowly begin to build as he thought about how he hadn't done very much at all to find a way home. He was brought out of his guilty thoughts by a ringing of his phone.

A text from Maddie lit up his screen.

Hey you coming over for movie night at our place tonight? It super hero themed....like ever movie night we have.... blame Charlie ._.

I laughed at her jab at her bestfriend and quickly replied.

Wouldn't miss it. And if I remember correctly last movie night was Harry Potter themed per your request.

I sent the text and waited for a reply that I knew would come quickly due to me teasing her about her love for Harry Potter. It was adorable if not a bit scary.

Another thought came to him. If he was doomed to stay here forever why couldn't he tell them about his situation. At least then he wouldn't feel so guilty about telling Maddie about his feelings for her.

The two had grown close the past weeks, a large part of that due to the blonde in their trio who was hell bent on making them a couple.

His phone made a noise catching his attention again.

Shut up before I uninvited you.

Snickering loudly, he put his phone down going back to studying the chapter that was assigned in his class.

The movie night went perfect, Wally thought as he walked out of the girl's apartment a large smile on his face that he couldn't seem to get rid of.

It started with the three of them all chilling watching a Batman movie that he couldn't help but find fascinating. Half way through though Charlie seemed to suddenly have an 'emergency' and swiftly left. He would have bought it to if he didn't see the sneaky smile on her face as she walked out of the apartment. It left the ginger pair alone.

He wasn't planning on making any moves but as the night got later the two got closer till they were almost atop each other wrapped in a shared blanket whispering softly to each other through the movies.

He wasn't planning on kissing her either but he wasn't mad that it happened actually it was the opposite. It was soft and sweet, and so were the many that followed after that one through the night till he had to leave.

He had to tell her who he was, and soon he decided then and there.
