His lips caressed my neck making me let out a moan. Our body's were close as we tried to pull together even more. Molding his lips to mine his tongue tracing my bottom lip. Opening my mouth he explored every crevice of my mouth making me let out a sigh of pleasure.

"I love you," I moaned as he rocked into me.

"I love yo-" and like that I was snapped up.

A dream like every night the past week. Every time he was about to say I love you I would wake up in a cold sweet. Looking at the clock I saw it said 6:45. Everyone was due to get up in an hour so I stood and made my way outside quietly hopping no one would hear me.

Sitting on the cliff I watched the water roll onto the sand softly. The water called to me making me want to dive in. I stayed staring at the ocean for another hour till a crunch of leaves behind me made me snap my head up only to calm when I saw it was Dick. His blue eyes stared into my bright green ones mesmerizing me.

"I see why they call you the Sea Watcher," he joked making me shyly smile before diverting my eyes. I knew if I didn't look away now if get stuck in his gaze. If only he knew how blindly in love with him I am. The only person who knew of my infatuation was Megan who found out during an awkward drunk confession.

"So Ashley what are you doing out here?" He said taking a seat next to me. He placed his hand on the ground part of it over my own. We both blushed and pulled our hands closer to our person.

"Just had to clear my head, you know now that Kaldur is back and the reach is gone we can take a break,"

"I thought evil never took breaks,"

"Yes well I do," I said with a small smile. "I came here to try out the hero thing and it was great but I miss Atlantis. I'm going home Dick, back to where I belong," I couldn't tell him part of the reason I was leaving was because I was in love with him and I didn't want to stay around when I knew he wouldn't ever love me too.

"Ashley you belong here too, with me- i mean the team," he stuttered with a red face.

"Dick I want to go home, I don't really have a reason anymore to stay here,"

"What if I gave you a reason to stay," I looked at him confused till he grabbed my face. "Please don't leave," he whispered before his lips softly caressed mine. My eyes widened as I registered what was happening but it seemed to be to late because he pulled away.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to over step, it's just-I-" I cut him off by grabbing his chin and kissing him. This time I controlled it and he was the one in shock. My shy persona was gone for the moment and I just kissed him with all I have. The kiss had to end though because of our need to breath. Pulling apart we both were panting.

"I hope that meant your staying," my only reply was a bright smile and a nod. His grin matched mine as he pulled me close kissing me again. Pulling away abruptly I had to say it.

"Dick I'm in love with you, I know you want me to stay but I just- I have been for a long time and I can't hold that in anymore," he was silent making me feel nervous. My gaze meet his and his mouth was slightly agape.

"Your in love with me," he whispered in aw.

"Ya, I am," I said turning my gaze back to the ocean.

His hand grabbed my chin making me meet his smoldering eyes. "I love you, I just- I just have always thought that someone as beautiful and kind as you could never love someone like me,"

"Someone like you? Someone who puts others lives before his own who is as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside, how could I not fall completely in love with you," standing up he took my hand bringing me up so that I was pulled close to his chest. One hand wrapped around my waist the other holding my chin.

"Well then Ashley, I believe I have to ask you to stay, and never leave,"

"I guess I could stay for a while longer," kissing his cheek I pulled from his arms and walked inside leaving him there for a second as he watched me walk. "You comin?" I said sticking my hand out with a glimmer in my eyes.

"Right behind you," incasing my hand in his larger one we walked inside.
