Y/N POV
"Look out behind you" blue Beatle looks back at me "Thanks Y/N"  after a heated battle with lex Luther's minions we head back to the cave.

In the midst of battle Jamie got cut deep near his stomach "Jamie take off your shirt" he looked at me with confusion "it's just a cut Y/N I'm fine" I roll my eyes "Jamie either you take it off or I will" my eyes widened after realizing what as said as did Jamie's "well I mean if the one and only Y/N wants my shirt off then so be it" he pulls off his shirt I start to blush.

Jamie smirks "like what you see" he chuckles I punch his arm he yelps in pain "you wish" I smile back at him and stitch him up I put away the medical stuff as he pulls his shirt back over his head

Blue Beatles PoV
The scarab on my back keeps repairing in my head that my heart rate is increasing around Y/N "shut up" I say out loud talking to my scarab Y/N looks at me with widened eyes "are you okay Jamie" I wanted to tell her what the scarab said but I was scared before I could say a word she closed the door with with the medical supplies and walked out.

God I've never felt this terrible before "should I go talk to her" my scarab says in my head "women are a distraction you do not need her should I destroy her Jamie" I widen my eyes as my scarab pulls out my guns "no no no I like her you don't understand your just a machine"

Y/N POV
I wonder what's wrong with Jamie thank god the team was out on their missions still I needed some quiet to think about what I did to upset him. Truth is I like Jamie but it never feels that he likes me I mean we have flirted before but tonight it was different. I sigh and continue walking to my room and close the door.

TIME SKIP NEXT MORNING

I change back into my uniform and leave my room to find my team. They were all in the kitchen well most who knows where superboy spends his morning. I sit on the couch with robin aka Tim drake since there's been to many robins to count and we start talking.

Jamie walks in and leans against a wall eating an apple. He stares dead hard at me I catch him in the corner of my eye and blush. Tim looks at my red face "wow Y/N are you actually blushing" Tim says as loud as he possibly can. Bart speeds over to me and feels my head "well she's not sick" Bart looks at me trying to figure out why my face looks like a tomato . I flick Bart's and Tim's Head "ow" they say in pain.

I get up to talk a walk around mount justice and as I walk past Jamie he says "mind if I come" I smile "yea Jamie" the whole teams eyes widen and mouths opened when they realized I was blushing at Jamie.

When we started our walk we began talking about our family missions we laughed so hard we cried I don't know how we got on the subject of feelings but it popped up. "Y/N I have to ask you something" I look at Jamie "what is it" he stops walking as do I and we both turn face to face. "Y/N I really care for you I always have I don't know though I've been so scared to tell me and lately a friend has reminded me when I'm around you my heart beat gets faster every time I see you and when you smile it changes my world and when I look in your eyes it's like my heart stops, Y/N I guess in shorter words you can really describe my feelings as love, I love you Y/N.

Jamie grabs my waist and pulls me close to him I place my hands on his cheeks "Jamie I love you too" he smiles and leans down still holding me and kisses me.

When we pull away i remind him of something "you know superboy isn't here right Jamie?"

Blue Beatles POV
My scarab talks to me again "Y/N is right superboy is her brother if my calculations are correct if you love his sister he will come for you" I smile "I know he's not but that doesn't change a thing I meant what I said Y/N, I love you know and always" I pull her in for another kiss as she wraps her arms around my neck I pull her in even closer and harder. As my scarab says "you stupid boy" but I don't care cause I finally hold the most precious thing in my arms Y/N.
