Twilight's POV

Something wasn't right..
maybe that was just the grief talking..

I skidded to a halt and looked around to see a very familiar archer, I growled at the murder. I was too far away from camp to warn the others about an ambush but if I could attract the attention of any close by patrols then we would have a fair chance of defending the camp, I straightened my  back out to look taller and strained my ears to try detect any close by intruders or patrols, I could hear a patrol coming forward from the left side, midnight properly sent them to come look for me.

"what are you doing here" I barked at Artemis, hate running through my veins. "it seems that I killed the wrong wolf, oh well time to die Twilight" Artemis loaded an arrow and started shooting at me, I leapt from side to side avoiding arrows in a zig-zag then when I was close enough I jumped on her and bit down on her shoulder. She cried out in pain and dropped her bow, I pushed her to the ground, pinned her down and bit both her left and right forearms.

I could hear the patrol coming closer, is was now or never, but I knew better, death was too good for her. I kept her pinned down and howled for the patrol, letting them know where I am, Sunrise came running with her patrol, they skidded to a stop "there you are! do you know-" Sunrise stopped herself and growled, I looked at Artemis "I found her in the woods, she attacked me, I didn't hear or see any others though" I reported, Artemis struggled underneath me "and she's lost a lot of blood, by the look of it" Sunset noted, I nodded "like I said, she attacked me" Artemis hissed in pain "my team will come for me, then you'll be in trouble" she spat. I glared at her "no they won't, you're lucky I haven't killed you yet" I looked at Sunrise "get someone to hold her down" I told her, she nodded and barked at her patrol, Dawn jumped forward and held Artemis down. "who is your fastest runner?" I asked Sunrise, her ear twitched "Eclipse, take her with you" she barked again and a rookie came forward, just old enough to be part of border patrol. "alright Eclipse, come on" I told her and ran off, she squeaked in surprise but quickly followed me. "what are we doing?" she asked in an excited tone, I glandes back at her "we are going to let the camp know about the intruder, then midnight will decide what to do after that" I told her, she yowled in excitement and I smiled "first time running with a pro?" I asked "without the rest of the patrol, yeah" she told me. I slowed down when I saw the camp, Eclipse followed my lead and slowed down with me, we walked into the camp and I saw Dusk, Dawns older brother "seen the boss around? we need to talk to him" I told him and flicked my tail towards Eclipse "yeah, he's with moon. I didn't know you wanted an apprentice" he teased, I looked back at Eclipse "we'll talk about this another time" I hushed "with moon you say? whereabouts?" "northwest" I nodded "thanks, I'll talk to you tomorrow"

I turned to Eclipse "know which way northwest is?" I asked Eclipse "yup!" she barked happily, pointing with her nose "it's that way!" I nodded "very good Eclipse, most pups don't know the difference between north and south yet, well done" I praised and walked over to where Moon and Midnight were. "Eclipse, do you know how to start a conversation with the Alpha?" I questioned "no, how?" she asked, her eyes glittered with hope and happiness "when they are by them self, you sit and bow your head, then you speak when spoken to" I paused to let her process the information "when they are already talking to someone else, you sit and wait for them to finish but never, no matter what, listen in on the conversation that is happening. Once they are finished you bow your head and speak when spoken to" I finish. "cool" she said in awe, we sat a meter away from the pair and bowed our heads. 

A few moments later midnight walked over "Twilight, you're back and with Eclipse i see" midnight said, i looked at him "while i was in the woods i was attacked by Artemis, luckily sunrise and her patrol weren't too far away. Artemis is alone and alive, what should we do with her?"
