Twilights POV

I was on my way back home when I smelt something... Off...

I stood still and let out a low growl, getting ready to attack I slowly crept up on the intruders, I saw six teenagers -the Young Justice League- they followed us! Superboy looked straight at me while hushing his friends, my tail twitched and I jumped in front of the group, still growing "you shouldn't be here" I get ready to attack but was cut short by a mew of confusion, I turn to see my younger sister Moonlight, I hiss for her to come forward and help, she obeys me and stands ready to attack.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, kid flash put his hands up in surrender no one said anything "leave, or we'll attack" I warn, they glanced at each other..

"this wasn't part of the plan" "we need a different plan, we can't just ask them questions" "why don't we force answers out of them? They seem weak enough" "guys.." "Artemis! that's a horrible idea, we shouldn't hurt them" "guys! Did you forget they said they would attack if we didn't leave!" "Shut up kid mouth!"

I howl and we jump forward and attack, Moonlight is fighting Artemis and I fight robin, he throws some quick punches while everyone else forms a circle trapping me inside it, I turn to look at Moonlight to see she's not there, I feel my heart stop as she gets thrown into the circle -limp, cold and still- my eyes flash with worry before being burnt away with rage I look back up to find who did this, the only one smirking,

Artemis

I yowl in pain and loss "you killed her! Now you all die!" My vision went red as I attacked, my cries were heard by the whole clan as warriors came to help me, all being filled with rage when seeing Moonlights cold bloody body lying on the ground "we're outnumbered, this wasn't supposed to happen-" Aqualad said to the team "can we talk about that later?! They want to kill us!" Artemis exclaimed

I growled and went to attack Artemis, but was stopped by Midday, Midnight's sister and second in command.
Midnight came out of the shadows "Twilight"
I didn't look at her, only Artemis "Twilight"
Midnight said again, my tail flicked towards her "I am aware of the spilt blood of your sister" the team of heroes gasped in confusion and shock, "we will honour both of your bravery, but now we let these humans go" I turned towards Midnight, eyes cloudy with anger and pain "..what?" I ask shocked Midday glared at me "you heard her, come, we're leaving"
"no!" I growl
"Moonlight deserves revenge" I look at Artemis "and I plan on doing just that" I jumped towards her and clawed at Artemis' bow, breaking it, she cried out in anger before going to punch me I dogged then scratched down her torso, blood poured out and Artemis started stumbling and slipping on the blood I pinned her to the ground and was ready to deliver the final blow, someone called out, then I was tackled to the ground.

Third person POV

Just as Twilight was about to kill Artemis, Midnight yowled and Midday pinned Twilight down. Midnight nodded towards their healer, Sunset "Sunset, make sure no one is seriously injured, check the humans first" Sunset nodded, turning into a human then got to work, Midnight then looked at the Young Justice League "Sunset will not hurt you, but I cannot say the same about Twilight" she glanced at Moonlights body, her eyes going dull with pain before they flashed with rage then faded back to normal then looked at Twilight.

"which one of you killed Moonlight?" She turned towards the group, everyone looked at Artemis she stepped forward and sighed

"I did"

"Why"

Everyone went silent, the only thing that could be heard was Midday talking to Twilight "normally I let my warriors kill any trespassers, especially after they kill one of us, but you were just doing what you were told, more or less" Midnight growled while she narrowed her eyes at Artemis "after Sunset is done, Midday will escort you all out" Midnight finished.

Aqualad stepped forward "I would like to apolog-"
"don't even bother! It won't bring Moonlight back!" Twilight barked as she and Midday slowly walked towards Midnight, Midnight looked at Twilight then at Aqualad "sadly, she is right. you must go now and never come back!" Midnight barked as Midday walked towards the group "follow" was all she said before walking away.
