Linea: How did you get here?

Dick: The author put me in here.

Noelle: That's weird. Well anyway let get into the story.

It has been a week since the test results have been positive. Grandpa lately has been acting weird, but I don't blame him. He just found out that his granddaughter is alive. I look up to see the stars sparkling and hearing traffic below. I have a family... But who is my parents that remand in my head. I heard a door open from the roof entrance. I turn my head to see grandpa closing the door behind him and walking towards me. I looked up to the stars see if they answered my question.

"So, how is everything, Linea" I heard grandpa say. I look at him trying to feel happy, but instead feeling empty. I look back towards the stars to tell me anything. Nothing. Yet.

"To tell you the truth, confusing. Everything is going to fast for me. I just... I just don't understand things" I said pulling my legs up to my chest. The cold wind wrapped around me blowing my hair.

"Linea, let's get inside before you catch a cold" grandpa said. I nodded without looking at him. The March air felt good against my bare arms and shoulders. I sit up and walk inside after grandpa. I walk down the steps into what is now Noelle and my room. I open my door to see Noelle dancing with her ear buds in her ears. She turned around doing something, but she saw me and stopped.

"Hey Linea. I didn't hear you coming in, sorry" Noelle said talking her ear buds out. I smiled. Noelle is my... sister. It sounds weird in my head.

"Hey would you mind helping me bring my stuff from my apartment" I asked. Noelle had a huge grin on her face.

"Sure, but first I have to do a project. I will call in Dick to help you" Noelle said getting her phone out. Dick.

"Wait, hold on. You are calling Dick to help me bring my stuff back here?" I asked shocked. She nodded her head and click call on her phone. Crap, why when anytime I go outside Dick has to be there. Still, it feels weird being by him.

"Ok, see you in a little bit. Bye" I heard Noelle as she ended the call.

"He will pick you up" Noelle said looking up at me, "Why is your face pink?" I looked at her wide eyed and turned my head away so she can't see my face.

"Do you like him?" Noelle asked. I shook my head. Why would she ask that? Really! I just meet the guy. I heard grandpa yelling for us so we went down stairs.

"What" I asked stepping onto the hard wood. I saw him holding pieces of papers in his hand. He gave them to me and I grabbed them. I took a quick look at the first page. It said 'Welcome to Gotham High!' He is signing me up for school, isn't he. I look at him in surprise. He is signing me up for school in the middle of the school year.

"You are signing me up for school?" I asked. Grandpa nodded.

"Noelle is going to the same school. I thought you needed some education, so you are starting school soon" grandpa said. I was going to reply back when there was a knock at the door. I walk to the door and I open it. I saw Dick there, but he wasn't in his costume. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and sun glasses. Why is he wearing sunglasses at night? He is getting weirder by the minute.

"You guys ready?" Dick asked breaking me out of my daze. I nodded and turned my head towards Noelle and grandpa.

"Grandpa we are going to get my stuff from my apartment with one of my friends" I said. Noelle grabbed her phone and walked towards me.

"I will meet you there later if you still need help"

~Later~

We got to the street where my apartment is, where everything began. I look outside Dick's side of the widow. The news said that later today its suppose to rain today. The car came to an unsteady stop in front of my old apartment. I called them earlier saying that I was moving out. 

"Are we here?" Dick asks me. I nodded my head. Dick got out of the car and hold the door for me. I thanked him and got out into the cold night of Gotham. We walked into the apartment building and got into the elevator. I push floor 13 and we started moving up.

~Pov: Dick~

The doors opened when we finally got to floor 13. I let Linea get out of the elevator before me. I followed Linea to her old apartment. Linea opened her door and walked in.

"Nice place you got here. How did you get the money to pay for this" I asked. I saw the sadness in her eyes when she turned her head towards me. What is she feeling?

"....Stealing" Linea said. She stole things why? How did she do it in the first place? I heard rain pouring from the windows.

"Well let's pack up some things" I said. She smiled and nodded.

~Later~

"Are we done?" I asked pushing up my sunglasses up on my nose. I heard her bedroom door open to see Linea in a sundress and flats on. She looks very cute in it. She was holding only a suitcase in her hands.

"What's in your suitcase?" I asked looking at her suitcase. She looks down at her suitcase.

"I have my clothes, my laptop, my dresser-"

"How can you fit your dresser in there?" I asked. She laughed.

"Here I will show you" Linea said kneeling and opening her suitcase. She put her hand into there and pulled out her big dresser, but it looks smaller.

"I shunk it" she finally said. She put her dresser back in the suitcase and zipped it up. That reminds me of the movie with Marry Poppins with her suitcase. She stood up and walked over to me.

"Do you get everything for me?" She asked. I nodded my head in response. She smiled. She kissed me on the cheek.

"Thank you for helping me, Dick" Linea said. I felt myself blush. I can't believe she just did that. Before I can answer I heard crackling noises by her bedroom. It sounded like fire

~Pov: Linea~

I heard the fire alarm go off. Oh no they are here. Dick grabbed my free hand and started running out of my apartment. Dick touch the handle on the apartment door, but got burned. I see fire coming out of the hallway of my bedroom. The closest window is across the room. I ran to the other side of the room dragging Dick with me. By now the front part of the apartment was on fire. This like a wild fire that easily catches things on fire. Smoke was getting stronger and stronger burning my lungs. I tried to open the window behind us but couldn't. Dick notice what I was doing so he helped me open it.

"It's the only way out" I say with smoke in my lungs. A a log that is on fire lands on top of me pulling me down. It burns my stomach. Dick tries helping me up, but the log is too heavy. The fire was getting closer so I teleported Dick outside. My vision was getting blurry. The I felt the room on fire. The fire is burning me, but not on me. The heat was burning my stomach as I felt my back of my dress almost bare. Then there was a blast of fire exploding the glass. By then I can only hear, and my lungs not burning for air. My vision was black from the smoke. I felt someone lift the log off of me. Oh no. I quickly turn around, but I hit them in the face or chest using my powers. They fell over making the time to run, but how? I can't see. I stood up running where I think is the outside door. I heard a chain being drawn out. I felt something grab my arms and pull me back.

"You are leaving? Why to scared?" I heard a similar voice.

"I am not going anywhere with you, Lilli" I say without thinking, trying to pull of the chains. Lilli? Why do I say that name? I felt the chain getting tighter. I tried to keep myself from screaming.

"You aren't going anywhere. Boss want you back and I'll make sure of it" I heard Lilli said. I gripped my hands and pull as hard as I can on the chain. I felt something going after me, but because the chains I got stabbed with something. I fall to the ground. I felt the pain started to go away and let the darkness consume me.

~3rd person~

"We got her" Lilli  said through her ear piece. Joker laughed while he was looking at her future cell.

"Bring her here, but be careful she could wake up and her team will come" Joker said unlocking Linea's cell. He was going to get payback for escaping him.

"All right, dad" Lilli said and turned off the ear piece. Two Face came in and lifted Linea up. They brought her to the truck and put her in the back chained up. It was raining. Her hands were bound behind her back with chains. Linea was bare foot because her flipflops fell off in the fire. Someone walks out of the rainy darkness.

"Get the hell away from her!" the girl said in a fighting stance. Lilli and Two face laugh.

"And who are you?" Lilli said. She smirked. The girl walked out of the darkness into the rain for them to see her face. 

~Pov: Robin~

I sat on the curb at the Linea's apartment as it started to rain harder. I punch the floor. I can't believe she died, she could never survive that blast. I called Noelle and she said that she was coming. I heard fsomething going on close so I followed the voices going into an alley close to the burning apartments. I saw Noelle in a fighting Lilli and Two Face. In the back ground I saw someone in the back of a truck... Linea!

~Pov: Linea~

"Ow my head" I said waking up to see that I am in a back of a truck. The it started to pour harder. I got my sight back. I stood up, but fell back down. My feet started to burn and sting, so did my hands.

"And who are you?" I heard Lilli ask. I pull my hands to the side to see my hands in metal coffs. Suddenly my hands started to redden with heat. As I put my hands on the metal, it started to melt. In seconds I became free. 

"Noelle" someone replied. My eyes widen. Noelle? I heard someone running towards me. I turn my head to see Robin running to me. I stand up and jump off of the truck. The wet grass felt nice against my feet. I turned my head to Robin. I was gonna run to him, but someone grabbed me from behind bringing a knife to my throat. I put my hands on his arm to try pull the knife away from him. Robin slowed down into a walk.

"One more step and she's done for" a man's voice said putting the knife closer to my throat. Robin stopped walking being couple feet away.

"Let her go, Two Face!" Robin said. I heard a chuckle from his mouth.

"This girl is important to you. That's funny because you also failed to save your lover. Midnight is it? Yes, is that right?" Two face said grabbing a coin from his pocket with his other hand. Robin's face turned shocked. I grab his arm tighter trying to burn him. Nothing. You will regret saying that, Two Face.

"Quiet as usual" Two Face said flicking the coin onto heads. I grab his arm harder.

"And may I ask why you are talking to a dead girl, Two Face?" I said as my hands reddened and his sleeve gonna on fire for me to run, "just not yet" As Two Face was gonna slit my throat, his sleeve caught on fire making him let go of me. I dash to the middle of the fight waiting for Two Face to make a move. To tell you the truth I forgot Noelle was still fighting Lilli.

"We got to get out of here!" Lilli yelled. I stand up looking at Two Face and Lilli running to the truck. 

"Tell Joker if he wants me, let him do it his self and next time it won't be so easy" I said as the truck drove fast down the wet, empty streets. I look down to see my, once pretty sundress, all ripped and dirty. Man. I looked up and I turned to Robin and smiled.

"At least we don't have to carry anything" I laughed. What a waste of time just to have my stuff burned in the fire. I felt a cold breeze over us. I hold my arms close to my body. Why did I change into a sundress in this weather? Stupid me. 

"Thanks Robin for saving me" I said turning to Noelle, "You too Noelle" I heard crackling noises coming from the apartments coming closer.

"Um we still have a problem. Why isn't the fire going out" Noelle said running to us. My eyes widen. Oh yeah right. I ran to the front of the fire building and I lift up my hand. If I can make fire, I can put it out. In seconds, the fire started moving towards me like it was getting sucked in from my hand. The fire danced into my hand until there was no more fire in the building. I drop my hand feeling drained from all my energy I used. My knees buckled and I fell to the ground to be caught by Robin.

"Hey are you alright?" Robin asked. I nodded as my eyes felt heavy. I slowly closed my eyes until I was fast asleep.
