(Y/n) POV:

The ride to the zeta tubes was long and quiet. Nobody spoke a word and I'm not sure I could've heard them if they were talking. My heads been spinning snd ringing since we left the makeshift prison in the basement. I'm not sure if it's the blood loss or the fact that I'm still struggling to wrap my head around everything. It's probably a bit of both.

Zatanna held my arm the entire ride to the zeta tube. Even when we started walking through the teleporter she reluctantly let go.

I was the last to go through the tube and when I emerged in the cave Zatanna was waiting to help me stand regardless of my opinion on the matter. A few members of the Justice League were waiting for us. They looked upset and Batman looked far angrier than usual.

The Team stood together in front of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow and Black Canary. Everyone but Batman had a shocked expression on their face when they saw me. I cleaned the blood off of my face and a paramedic bandaged me up but my shirt was still covered in blood and torn to shreds.

Batman: "We know you went to Langley, that was dangerous and reckless. Don't even think about doing something like that again."

The Team explained how they arrested Maxwell and then travelled to a warehouse in Paris where they were ambushed.

Wonder Woman: "Who did this to you?"

Batman and Wonder Woman looked directly at me as I gently pushed myself off of Zee so I could limp forward.

(Y/n): "I didn't pay my restaurant bill so the host came after me..."

Dick, Wally and I laughed at my joke, everyone else wasn't amused and Zee slapped the back of my head.

Zatanna: "That's not funny! You were tortured by him!"

Batman: "By who?"

Zatanna: "Aaron Keener..."

(Y/n): "He's a former SHD agent, retired five years ago. He owns, well I guess owned would be the proper term, several restaurants in Europe and North America. Nice ones, like four and five stars."

Batman: "What was he after?"

(Y/n): "He downloaded something from the Division network, though it will take some time to find out what exact file or files were copied. And before you ask, no I don't know why he did this all of the sudden. I just saw the guy a little over a month ago and he gave us dinner along with introducing us to every high end guest he had that night."

I turned back to face Zee and saw a small smile across her face. She too was thinking back to our date in Paris, though after spending almost 40 hours in the Paris slums getting tortured I'm in no hurry to go back.

(Y/n): "Other agents are following up on Keener but you're more than welcome to try and find him. I doubt you will, he's a master at disappearing and did a lot of CIA wet work back when he worked for them. Now I'm going to have a shower and get some sleep."

I began to limp towards the hallway, Zee ran up and put my arm around her neck helping me walk as my knees gave out.

Zatanna: "Here let me help."

(Y/n): "Thanks Zee."

Artemis was helping Wally in a similar way and together we moved to the medbay under orders from Wonder Woman and Black Canary, who led the way and made sure the beds were ready when we finally limped into the room. The others stayed behind to give a full report to Batman.

Wally and I were laid down on hospital beds in the medbay. The computer scanned both of us checking for injuries. The worst I had was a bruised rib, it would take about 5 weeks to heal and I already knew once Batman found out about it I wouldn't be going on missions. Wally had it slightly better and would be good to go in a week at most.

Wonder Woman: "I don't think I need to say this but you both are off active missions until you heal up."

Black Canary: "Everyone who was held captive will need to have at least one session with me before I clear them to go on missions."

(Y/n): "That's wonderful, can I go now?"

Black Canary: "Straight to your room and get some sleep."

(Y/n): "Copy that, boss."

I slowly climbed out of the hospital bed and went to have a shower. Once I got to my room I attempted to get out of my clothes. It was a struggle to take off my shirt due to the bruised rib and I winced in pain a few times before finally getting it off. I heard a gasp at the door and quickly turned to see Zatanna standing in the doorway, tears forming in her eyes.

(Y/n): "Zee what's wrong?"

She moved closer to me and I limped over to hug her. She kept both her hands pressed up against my chest as I pulled her into the embrace.

Zatanna: "S-so...Y-you have so many cuts.... I didn't realize it b-before..."

(Y/n): "It's ok Zee... you guys got me out."

Zatanna: "Yeah but you were tortured in front of me...you can't expect me to be ok after seeing that."

(Y/n): "I'm so sorry Zee..."

Zatanna: "Just hold me, please."

I held Zatanna as close as I could and listened to her steady breathing, it's the most reassuring thing in the world.

3rd person POV:

Artemis and Wally could be seen walking into the kitchen. Wally had been complaining about being hungry since they arrived in Paris and Artemis finally agreed to help him get to the kitchen.

Wally: "Oh thank the lord... FOOD!"

Wally was walking better now with a combination of painkillers and the accelerated healing both he and Flash possessed. Despite that, Artemis refused to let him walk on his own and held his arm around her neck.

Artemis avoided looking at Wally the entire trip to the kitchen so he wouldn't see how red in the face she was.

When the pair arrived in the kitchen Wally ran to the kitchen counter and began making some food at super speed. Artemis stood by the couch and lightly laughed before the laughter swiftly turned into crying and light sobbing. Wally took notice of this and stopped making his sandwich.

Wally: "Artemis... What's wrong?"

Wally walked over to where Artemis stood and she looked up at him, tears starting to run down her cheek.

Artemis: "I-it's nothing!"

Wally: "Talk to me... please."

Artemis stood for a minute before finally building up the courage to speak.

Artemis: "I fought back a-and you suffered for it... w-what if y-you..."

Artemis's voice trailed off but she didn't need to finish for Wally to understand what she was struggling to say. Wally pulled Artemis into a hug and she began crying slightly louder than before.

Wally: "Hey, hey it's ok. I'm ok Arty..."

Artemis: "T-thank you... and what did you call me?"

Wally: "Uhh Arty... I mean-Mhmm!"

Artemis smashed her lips against Wally, cutting him off mid sentence. The shock wore off and Wally started to kiss back.

The moment melted into minutes as the two stood in the kitchen kissing, only breaking for air.

The two eventually broke their kiss and rested their heads against each other as they caught their breath.

Wally: "That was..."

Artemis: "Nice."

Wally: "More like amazing."

Dick: "Oh (Y/n) is going to love this... he called it."

Artemis: "Dick!"

Wally: "How long have you been watching?!"

Dick: "Not long, but long enough to know that (Y/n)'s never going to drop the fact that he was right about you two."

Dick turned around to leave the two but before he could exit Wally called out to him.

Wally: "Maybe I should tell him he was right about Barbara."

Dick froze in the door and turned around to face the others.

Artemis: "Who's Barbara?"

Wally: "Maybe Dick would like to tell us."

Dick: "I would not!"

Wally: "Ok I'll talk about it."

Dick: "Fine! You win!"

Dick turned and left leavening Wally laughing and in his arms, Artemis, incredibly confused at the whole situation.

(Y/n) POV:

I got out of the shower and changed into a grey sweater with the SHD Phoenix on the top right corner, red T-shirt and black shorts. I told Zatanna I would go to her room to watch television for the night and I did so. I made sure to bring a pistol as well as ISAC, a handful of seeker mines and an assault turret. I opened the door to see Zatanna sitting on her bed. Zatanna had showered and changed into a white T-shirt with black sweatpants. She had her beautiful black hair wrapped in a towel and smiled at me when she saw the small armoury of weapons I brought with me.

Zatanna: "Expecting trouble?"

(Y/n): "W-well I mean... I'm not getting abducted in my home... again."

Zatanna: "I know... I'm still terrified of what happened but Batman already changed the codes for the zeta tubes and we have a few leaguers guarding the Cave. You can relax."

(Y/n): "Right... sorry."

Zatanna: "It's alright, just drop that stuff off in the corner and come here."

I did as she asked and moved to the bed. I climbed into the spot beside her, Zatanna snuggled up next to me and took the towel off her head. Her hair was still wet but before I could comment she whispered a spell and it dried instantly.

(Y/n): "So what do you want to watch?"

Zatanna: "Oh I don't know we'll find something."

We scrolled through tv channels eventually settling on the national geographic. We watched the documentary on dolphins for a while until Zee started to get up and moved to her dresser.

(Y/n): "You ok?"

Zatanna: "Just a little cold... can I have your sweater?"

(Y/n): "Uhh yeah sure, but don't you have your own?"

I stood up and began to take off my sweater, Zee confidently responded.

Zatanna: "Well yes, but this one is yours."

I smiled and took off the sweater, careful to avoid any pain that would come from my rib. Zatanna basically ripped the sweater from my arms and put it on. She was so happy, the second she finished putting it on she grabbed me and pulled me into a tight hug.

Zatanna: "Thank you, I love it! Can I keep it?"

Can she keep it? That's my favourite sweater! Well she does look incredibly happy...ah whatever I'll get another one.

(Y/n): "Yes, you can keep it."

Zatanna let go of the hug, grabbed the back of my head and smashed her lips against mine. I spun her around and pushed her back to the bed. We fell onto the bed continuing to make out, this went on for several minutes before we stopped to catch our breath.

Zatanna: "I-I love you..."

I was caught totally off guard. Of course I love her and I'll do anything for her but I just wasn't expecting her to say that.

Zatanna could instantly tell she caught me by surprise and patiently waited for me to process what she just said. As my silence continued I watched her eyes slowly widen as I struggled to speak.

Our faces are inches apart and I'm staring into her beautiful blue eyes. Zatanna doesn't need to speak, her eyes are more than enough to convey how she feels. She wants an answer, she needs an answer.

I can see her slowly start to worry and that quickly changes to panic.

Zatanna: "I-I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have said that yet, I-it was too soon I shouldn't force that on y-Mhmm!"

I got over my hesitation and pulled Zatanna down, smashing my lips against hers and catching her completely unprepared. I quickly deepened the kiss before she had a chance to react, but when she finally did I felt her relax and all the tension slipped away.

Her soft moans of approval slipped out as I secured my grip over our kiss, placing one hand on her upper neck and the other on her back. Zatanna brought her hands to my head and gently cupped my cheeks as we kissed.

I finally broke the kiss, leaving both of us panting and Zatanna's cheeks bright red.

(Y/n): "I love you, Zatanna."

I watched her eyes light up in excitement, she's so beautiful when she's happy. A smile instantly formed on her face and I pulled her down into a kiss again.

Zatanna pushed herself into me as much as she could while we continued to make out. Our soft moans filled the room as I started slowly moving my hands up and down Zatanna's back.

As we broke for air my stomach suddenly rumbled and I completely forgot about how hungry I was.

Zatanna: "Want to get something to eat?"

I haven't eaten since the abduction and I don't know how I forgot about eating.

(Y/n): "I'd love too, I'm absolutely starving."

We exited Zee's room into the dark hallway and began making our way to the kitchen. I hope M'gann left something for us to eat.

Zee and I arrived in the kitchen to find the lights still on. We heard laughter as we grew closer, we walked around the corner and I saw Wally stuffing his face with a sandwich while Artemis laughed from across the kitchen.

Zatanna: "Hey guys. What are you two doing up so late?"

I could tell we startled both Artemis and Wally. What were they doing up it's 12:30. I get Wally being up because he never stops eating, but why would Artemis be hanging out with him....

Artemis: "W-well I could ask you the same thing!"

Artemis seems rather defensive... well more than usual. Artemis turned away and I swear I saw a hint of red in her cheeks. She's blushing. Maybe they finally realized that they both have feelings for eachother.

Zatanna: "Umm ok, well (Y/n) and I are hungry so here we are."

I stayed a few feet behind Zee and looked right at Wally. His expression once we made eye contact told me I was right.

Wally: "Well I made a sandwich, the stuff is still out I can make you guys one."

I could tell Wally was desperate to change the subject and Zatanna fell for his ploy but I'm not letting him off that easy.

Zatanna: "Thanks, we would love to try one."

(Y/n): "Ya thanks a lot. What were you guys talking about?"

I had my phone out at this point, I'm sending a text to Dick. 'Hey guess what I was right about.'

He responded right away 'Oh ya I already know, ran into them kissing in the kitchen just after 11.'

Wally noticed me put away my phone and he must have figured out I was texting Dick because he looked incredibly embarrassed.

(Y/n): "So what were you guys doing before we got here?"

Wally avoided eye contact as he continued to make our food. Artemis fought on to what I was trying to do and tried to change the subject.

Artemis: "That's a nice sweater, Zatanna."

Zatanna: "Thanks, it's my new favourite!"

Zatanna grabbed my hand and smiled at me, the sweater was a few sizes too big but it didn't look like she cared at all.

I'm not letting these two change the subject that easily, Dick said 11 so might as well abuse ISAC's power and have some fun.

(Y/n): "You guys never answered my question."

Wally: "Nothing we got here just before you did."

Zatanna was beginning to catch onto their nervousness and looked at me with a confused look on her face.

(Y/n): "Maybe I should check the security recordings. ISAC access security recordings from 11pm..."

Wally: "Hey!"

Zatanna: "What happened at 11?"

I didn't answer, just smiled at Wally and Artemis across the counter.

(Y/n): "Hey you were all up in my face after Zee and I first kissed... it would be rude not to return the favour."

Zatanna: "You two kissed?!"

Zatanna ran around the counter and hugged Artemis, Wally just glared at me as I held back laughter.

Wally: "He told you, didn't he."

(Y/n): "Oh yeah."

I continued laughing and Zatanna and Artemis just smiled, enjoying the moment.

Wally: "I should tell you you're on a roll, you are right about Barbara as well."

(Y/n): "No way, oh I'm never letting this go."

I continued to laugh while Zee and Artemis looked at us rather confused.

Zatanna: "Who's Barbara?"

(Y/n): "Oh just someone special to our dear little Robin."

Wally: "Here's your sandwiches."

Zatanna and I ate the sandwiches Wally made and they were delicious to say the least. The next question asked caught me off guard, mostly because I wasn't prepared to answer it.

Artemis: "So are you guys... ok..."

(Y/n): "I'm fine."

The other froze and looked at me. They could see right through my answer. The truth is I'm still terrified, but I really don't feel like talking with Canary and going through the mandatory therapy so I'm fine, I'll force myself to be fine.

Wally: "I'm a little shaken up.."

Zatanna: "Same."

Zatanna was almost shaking when she answered and Artemis just didn't give her feelings on the issue. Despite not wanting to go through the same style of mandatory therapy we went through after the training simulation, I... we may have to.

Zatanna: "I don't know how you're not at least troubled by what happened (Y/n)... you... you were tortured."

Artemis: "You were sold out by your mentor."

I sat still for a moment looking down at the empty plate in front of me. I might as well be truthful about it. Or at least admit that I'm not 'fine'.

(Y/n): "Ok I'm not ok. I thought I was doing alright, holding up against the interrogation and all... Until I saw you three. He showed me on the security feed, you three getting dragged through the building. My heart sank and admittedly, I wasn't sure if I was going to get out of there."

Silence overtook the kitchen and I couldn't bring myself to look up at everyone. I felt my throat dry up and my eyes began to water.

(Y/n): "I was so scared... I thought we were all going to die and it would be my fault... I'm so sorry."

Artemis: "It's not your fault. You couldn't possibly have seen this coming."

(Y/n): "I should have. I should have seen a sign or something!"

Zatanna: "You can't blame yourself for not noticing Maxwell's betrayal sooner, you're only human."

(Y/n): "I know... I just... I wish this didn't happen."

We sat in silence for a minute, I could tell the others were just glad the situation was over with but I'm not so sure. I don't exactly feel comfortable sleeping in the place Keener broke into so easily. The guy's methodical, he's ten steps ahead in every situation and I don't think we could take him in a fight, not a straight up one. He would be ready and have some sort of plan  to give himself the edge needed to win.

Artemis: "I think I'll be alright, I just need some rest."

Wally: "Same here, goodnight you two."

Zatanna/(Y/n): "Goodnight."

Zee moved to sit back down beside me and grabbed my hand.

Zatanna: "Thanks for being honest with us."

I forced a weak smile to appear and Zee got off her chair and hugged me.

(Y/n): "Let's clean up here and walk around for a bit, I'm not ready to sleep."

Zatanna: "Alright..."

3rd person POV:

Kelso and a team of agents moved silently through underground infrastructure in Rotterdam, Netherlands. They cut through a mix of sewers and subway lines to arrive at the bottom of a dam. The government builds these dams to fight rising sea levels and provide additional power to the country.

Kelso: "Distance to target?"

Agent: "We should be right on top of them."

Kelso: "I don't like this..."

The agents proceeded to walk alongside the row of generators that helped power the hydroelectric dam, the bright lights overhead obscured their view of the staircase leading up and that was the point.

Suddenly machine gun fire erupted, cutting two agents down in the front of the group. The agents instinctively took cover, most hid behind the generators others behind a support pillar holding up the roof.

Kelso: "Anyone have a line on the shooter?!"

Agent: "Negative! The floodlights are blocking my view!"

There was another staircase at the opposite end of the dam, a good 150m away. Too long to make a full flanking maneuver to get behind the shooter. Kelso was weighing her options in the fight but she would never get a chance to try anything.

She moved to the back of the group to try and draw some fire away from the main team, that's when she heard it. The steady beeping of explosive charges. Kelso turned to face the main wall of the dam to find a massive amount of explosive charges all over the base of the dam. Kelso screamed into her headset.

Kelso: "Everyone get to the West stairwell NOW!"

The agents followed orders and began the 300m run. About halfway to the stairwell Kelso heard the explosives detonate. Water began to flow in the base of the dam and cracks could be seen forming, spidering out from the center of the explosion.

Kelso: "Oh SHIT!"

By the time Kelso reached the stairwell the water had killed the generators. The main lights turned off, being replaced with red emergency ones as sirens sounded.

Kelso: "Don't stop moving! Get to the surface!"

Kelso was the last to make it up when the group of surviving agents collapsed, out of breath from the massive climb to the top of the dam. Then they saw it, the massive explosion caused water to flood into the city behind them, and the water kept rising.

Kelso: "FUCK!"

Kelso slammed her headset into the ground in pure frustration. She was so close, she had been tracking Keener since he slipped out of Paris.

Keener had left a minor trail to follow but not enough to predict where he was going next. He was playing with Kelso and she knew it. They weren't going to find him unless he wanted them to. All that is left to do now is to try and help the people in the city.

The worst was yet to come, the dam was collapsing in on itself, soon the flow of water would double.

(Y/n) POV: Back at the Cave

Zatanna and I were walking around the cave aimlessly. I haven't said much since we left the kitchen and Zee was starting to pick up on it after a few one word answers to her conversation starters.

Zatanna: "You sure you're ok..."

(Y/n): "Yes, I'm good."

I really don't want to worry her, she is already clearly stressed out about what happened. I don't need to worry her anymore.

Zatanna: "I know you're lying to me."

Zatanna doesn't look angry, just sad. I should come clean. I don't want her upset with me.

(Y/n): "I'm just worried... I guess you could say scared. I don't feel comfortable with any of our friends sleeping in a place he got into so easily. I know Batman changed the codes but... I'm just stressed, I'm sorry for worrying you."

Zatanna: "No it's ok... I'm worried too..."

Zee grabbed me and pulled me into a tight hug. She pressed herself against me and whispered into my ear seductively.

Zatanna: "Let me take some of your stress away."

Zee smashed her lips against mine in such an aggressive way that I stumbled backwards as she pushed me into the gym. I tried to grab ahold of her but with my sweater being incredibly baggy on her she easily slipped out of any hold I had over her.

The door automatically closed behind us, the lights were off and I could barely see Zee. I was pushed back until I hit the bench press, I sat down on it and Zee broke our kiss. I could hear her giggling which gave me a clue to her location in front of me.

I felt one of her hands go onto my knee and the other onto my shorts. She gently pulled them down leaving me in my shirt and boxers.

(Y/n): "Z-Zee what are you-"

Zatanna: "Helping you relax. Now follow this order, sit there and relax, agent."

I didn't get a chance to respond before I felt her lips press against my boxers. I instantly reacted, much to her pleasure.

Zatanna: "There we go..."

Her tone sent chills through my body, mostly because I was unprepared to be doing this. I never would have thought that this day would end like this.

Zatanna: "Let me show you how glad I am that you're safe..."

Zee pulled my boxers down and wrapped her hand around my member. Her lips gently pressed against the head. Zee pushed it back against my chest and started kissing it all the way down the shaft.

She stopped and tied her hair into a ponytail, I would have held it out of the way if she asked but I never got the chance to even offer to do that.

Zatanna started gently sucking on the head, moaning as she was clearly enjoying seeing me flustered. She began to slowly bob her head, taking more each pass. Zatanna is amazing at this despite both of us being incredibly inexperienced to say the least.

(Y/n): "Zee... holy shit..."

I could tell she loved my reaction because she increased the pace. Zatanna wrapped her lips around my member and struggled to take it all in. She was gagging occasionally but still pushed herself to take more. She was enjoying this more than I was. My shaft became wet with Zatanna's saliva allowing her to move faster.

After a moment I began to feel like I'm close to cumming. Zatanna didn't slow down at all.

Zatanna stopped and made eye contact with me. I gazed into her blue eyes, which I can barely see with the lights off, and she winked at me before she went back to sucking.

Zatanna: "There, relaxed?"

Zatanna: "Once you get the strength to stand, I'll help you back to your room."

(Y/n): "Ha... yeah ok, give me a second."
