3rd Person POV:

Aqualad called the Justice League for help while Artemis, Kid Flash and Red Arrow attempted to wake up the others. It wasn't long before the Justice League arrived. Batman, Robin, Black Canary and Green Arrow rushed into the cave through the hangar. They gathered at the main area with the four unconscious Team members.

Batman: "What happened?!"

Aqualad: "I do not know, we returned to find it like this."

Green Arrow: "Let's get them to medical."

The eight hero's moved their unconscious friends to the medical bay and waited for them to wake up. While they waited Batman pulled the cave's security recordings and watched the attack unfold.

Batman: "Look at this."

Batman played the recording of the fight in the cave on a computer in the medical bay for everyone to see. The recording ended with the unknown attacker dragging (Y/n) through the zeta tube to an unknown destination before an explosion completely destroyed the last functioning zeta tube. Just as the recording finished the unconscious team members began to wake up.

Zatanna: "Ah...where's (Y/n)?"

Nobody spoke. Those present who didn't know about the relationship between Zatanna and (Y/n) suspected that they had one. Nobody wants to be the one to deliver the news. Zatanna desperately looked around the medbay for (Y/n), only to not find him. Her eyes met Artemis' as she begged for an answer.

Zatanna: "Artemis... please where is he?"

Artemis: "The man who attacked you... h-he took him."

Tears began to form in Zatanna's eyes as she struggled to comprehend the news.

Zatanna: "W-what do y-you mean 'took'? Took him where?"

Artemis: "We don't know."

Robin: "But we will find him."

Batman: "You're right. We will find him, let's go."

Batman and Robin left to investigate the fight scene in the cave and see if they can come up with any useful information.

Zatanna sat up and moved to the edge of the bed Artemis and Wally sat on either side of her in an attempt to comfort her.

Zatanna: "I-I can t-try some s-spells to find him."

Aqualad: "Get some rest, we will find him."

Zatanna attempted to stand up but was held back by Artemis who pulled her into a hug. Zatanna initially struggled to get out of the embrace but quickly gave in and started crying. Her sobes filled the medbay as the team stood in silence, unsure of what to do.

After a short moment Aqualad, Kid Flash and Conner left the medbay to join Robin and Batman by the zeta tubes.

Aqualad: "Have you found anything?"

Robin: "Only this piece of paper, (Y/n) was holding while he ran to the zeta tubes. It's full of signatures but no names. I'm guessing he recognized one."

Batman: "I don't recognize any of-"

Robin: "What? What is it?"

Batman: "When (Y/n) first joined the team. Alfred contacted his supervising officer Charles Maxwell. They served together back when Alfred was with the SAS. The signature C.M is on here. I'm taking this to Alfred, maybe he can identify if this really is Maxwell's signature. We will need to know everything about him before making a move, he's obviously incredibly resourceful."

Batman took the paper and left through the only functioning zeta tube in the hangar as Robin pulled up the cave computer system.

Robin: "Computer logs indicate that the attacker zetaed to Paris. I'll search for any property owned by Maxwell in or around Paris... nothing."

Kid Flash: "Why don't we just go talk to the geezer... I mean, he's too old to be the man on the security recording. So he must be at work or his home, right?"

Robin: "That actually isn't a bad idea."

Kid Flash: "What are you surprised that I have genuinely useful ideas?"

Robin: "Uh ya, a little."

Kid Flash gave Robin an annoyed look as M'gann, Artemis and Zatanna entered the main area.

Zatanna: "Did you find anything?"

Zatanna had a desperate tone in her voice and her face was stained with tears.

Aqualad: "Yes, but you should consider staying here you aren't-"

Zatanna: "No! I uh... it's clearly not safe here whoever did this may return. I'm going."

The entire team could see through her excuse but nobody protested.

The team loaded up in the bio-ship and flew to Langley. They remained cloaked the entire time and proceeded to land on the roof without raising any alarms.

Artemis: "Uh, how do we get in?"

Robin: "I'm using this to hack our way into the building."

Robin held the ISAC brick that was normally attached to (Y/n)'s plate carrier. With it he bypassed the locks on the elevator and the entire team entered.

Robin: "It seems that we need to go to the basement. Sub level 16."

Aqualad: "Send us down."

Kid Flash: "This place is way too cool to not get a souvenir."

Artemis elbowed Kid Flash in the gut rather hard and he flinched grabbing his gut in pain.

Artemis: "Hello Wally, we are looking for our kidnapped friend and this is a government building, stealing anything is probably a felony."

Kid Flash: "Right, so one question. WHY ARE WE BREAKING INTO IT?! Why don't we just wait for this guy to go home and grab him in the parking lot?"

Zatanna: "We don't have time to wait!"

Robin: "And if this guy is working with the man that attacked us, leaving him in charge of an agency like the SHD is really....bad."

Miraculously the elevator made it down to sub level 16 without stopping once but that's where the Team's luck ran out. The elevator door opened to reveal a familiar agent of Hawiian descent. Well familiar to (Y/n) not to the Team.

Kelso: "Who are you?!"

Kelso drew her gun and aimed it into the elevator. Luckily for the Team she was the only one in the hallway. Robin quickly smashed the gun out of her hand and pulled the agent into the elevator where Superboy put her in a chokehold.

Aqualad: "Listen to us, we are friends of agent (L/n), he has been abducted. We believe your supervising officer is somehow involved."

Robin: "Look, (Y/n) found this signature on a Cadmus board of directors file. The file authorized the movement and sale of Cadmus technology designed to interfere and disrupt ISAC's military capabilities to the Bialyan military."

Kelso saw the holographic image of the paper filled with signatures and stopped struggling, her eyes widened as she had the same realization (Y/n) had in the cave. Superboy slowly released her and she stood up, her face was white with fear.

Kelso: "You're sure, because once we do this there's no going back and we better be right."

Aqualad: "We're sure."

Zatanna couldn't stop staring at Kelso, she slowly realized where she had seen this agent before and her heart sank as she thought back to that awful ordeal.

Zatanna: "You're Kelso, Alani Kelso aren't you?"

Kelso: "Umm yeah... do I know you?"

Zatanna: "It's a long story... for another time."

After introducing the lesser known teammates to Kelso the hero's quickly formed a plan to apprehend Maxwell. The plan was Wally's idea and it was fairly simple. They would walk up and arrest the old man.

The Team and Kelso entered the main command hub which was lined with computer terminals and large display screens. The entire room looked like a NASA control room with the exception of a large holographic display table in the center.

Kelso: "MAXWELL!"

Maxwell: "Oh dear what is it n-"

Maxwell stopped mid sentence in fear before smiling and letting out a light laugh.

Maxwell: "Ah and here I was thinking my friend was going to get agent (L/n) before he finished the hack on Cadmus. I never should have trusted him. Oh well, I suppose it's not my problem anymore."

Kelso stormed towards Maxwell in a fury of anger over this betrayal only to be tackled by Kid Flash, saving her from the bullets Maxwell fired towards her.

For his age Maxwell was still incredibly skilled with a gun. However when Zatanna's spell turned his weapon red hot he was forced to drop it right before Superboy grabbed him by the collar and slammed him to the ground.

Maxwell: "Ahh! Alright alright..."

Superboy: "Where is agent (L/n)!"

Maxwell: "Paris, I hear he loves the food. Did he take you yet?"

Maxwell toyed in a sarcastic tone as he looked straight at Zatanna. She couldn't muster the courage to speak. The betrayal hurt, she didn't even know Maxwell but the fact that he had been watching them for who knows how long and planning on hurting (Y/n), who he effectively raised, sent chills down her spine.

Maxwell: "Until my associate gets what he wants (Y/n) is going to suffer and if you interfere, you will suffer as well."

Zatanna was shaking in fear as Robin pressed Maxwell for more information.

Robin: "What does he want and who is he?"

Maxwell: "Oh I can't spoil all the fun, but go to this address just outside of Paris. You'll find everything you're looking for."

Maxwell wrote an address on a piece of paper that he slipped out of his pocket and handed it to Robin.

Robin grabbed the piece of paper and the Team hurried out of the building to the bio-ship. Kelso and a group of guards brought Maxwell to a dimly lit room where he was handcuffed to a table.

Kelso: "I've known you for a long time, and you're always seven steps ahead. What did you send them into?"

Maxwell: "Absolutely nothing my dear."

Kelso: "They may be powerful but they are teenagers! Where did you send them?"

Maxwell: "I understand they are young adults, that is why I opted to tell the truth and I'm far too old to be put through the tourture of your interrogations. I sent them to a pre-arranged meeting point where I would pay my associate the second half of his fee, upon completion of his job."

Kelso: "Who did you hire and what for?"

Maxwell: "I would say you can ask the little heroes when they return but I'm not sure they will make it."

Kelso: "So it is a trap then."

Maxwell: "Yes most likely but I can't be positive, I never set up the rendezvous point, it was given to me. I think I've waited long enough, they are probably entering the warehouse now."

Kelso: "They left just over 45 minutes ago.... There's no way they could get to Paris that fast."

Maxwell let out a light chuckle which worried Kelso. She knew he had secrets but his confidence worried her to say the least.

Maxwell: "Oh my dear, the Justice League uses teleportation devices called zeta tubes. The little heroes are most likely already rushing in the building to rescue their friend."

The shock began to set in for Kelso. She ran out of the interrogation room, yelling at the guards present to lock Maxwell inside. She shoved crowds of government personnel aside in a desperate attempt to reach the main hub and send off a warning before it was too late. She didn't know exactly what kind of trap or who would be waiting but any warning is better than none.

Kelso reached the communication officers desk and shoved the agent out of his chair before hitting a few buttons, dialling up (Y/n)'s ISAC brick that the team had.

Kelso: "HEY! If any of you can hear me you're walking into a trap!"

*5 minutes ago*

The Team had arrived at the address given to them and positioned themselves on the roof of a neighbouring warehouse. All were on edge, however most were good at hiding it. Zatanna was far more angry than nervous or scared. She was furious that a lifelong mentor and friend of (Y/n) sold him out and for an unknown reason.

Aqualad: "Is everyone clear on the plan?"

Nobody responded. The Team readied themselves for what they were about to do. The plan called for them to split into three groups. Robin and M'gann would move to the roof and enter through the skylight, Aqualad and Conner would enter through the main entrance with Artemis, Kid Flash and Zatanna entering through the back. They would sweep through the warehouse and converge in the center.

Aqualad: "Good, let's go."

The Team split up and entered the building.

Artemis, Zatanna and Kid Flash were especially careful when entering the building. Zatanna had pinned (Y/n)'s ISAC brick onto her jacket. The high tech computer was out of place on her magician outfit but she didn't care. The light orange glow from ISAC was the only light the three had in the building before Artemis pulled out a flashlight. The three began moving through the building. It didn't appear to be a normal warehouse, the building was lined with mazes of large crates and shipping containers. Some went right to the roof and completely obscured the line of sight further into the building.

Artemis: "Why is it so dark in here?"

Kid Flash: "The lights are off."

Artemis turned and smacked Kid Flash in the side of the head with her palm.

Kid Flash: "Oww! What was that for?!"

Artemis: "Really... I meant why would they be off if (Y/n)'s being held here. Wouldn't his captors need to see stuff?"

Zatanna: "Quiet you two, I see light up ahead."

The three moved up to the corner of a shipping container and slowly looked around the corner. What they saw gave them a mix of worry and relief. (Y/n) was tied up to a chair in the center of a large open area surrounded by wooden crates. His head hung low, he wasn't moving and appeared to be unconscious. After quickly surveying the open area and finding (Y/n) to be the only one there, the three moved in.

Zatanna: "Come on, we have to help him!"

Zatanna waved for the others to follow her as she ran out from behind cover towards (Y/n). Her heart was racing as she reached out to touch him with a relieved look on her face.

Only once her hand passed through what should have been his hair and (Y/n) faded away did she realize what was going on. What the three were looking at was a hologram of (Y/n), one that disappeared once she touched it. Before she could say anything Kelso's voice rang out from the ISAC brick on Zatanna's jacket.

Kelso: "HEY! If any of you can hear me you're walking into a trap!"

Zatanna froze in fear as Artemis and Kid Flash ran out to meet her.

Artemis: "Come on we have to get out of here!"

Artemis grabbed Zatanna's hand and pulled her towards the safety of the shadows they emerged from. They never made it. A shipping container smashed down in front of them blocking their only path of escape.

Zatanna: "Hang on. Etativel elcatsbo p-"

Zatanna was cut off by the same gas used in the cave, cutting her off. This dose was far more concentrated and knocked her out instantly along with Kid Flash and Artemis a few seconds later after they desperately tried to call for help.

The rest of the Team was too busy dealing with their own problems to help the three. Zatanna touching the hologram triggered an ambush. Robin and Miss Martian were attacked by drones. Aqualad and Superboy were attacked by a mix of automated turrets and electro mines. After the Team dealt with this ambush they finally converged at the center of the warehouse.

Aqualad and Superboy entered the main area to find it empty with the exception of a holographic projector and gas canisters. Robin and Miss Martian soon joined them. Superboy was furious and smashed a crate.

Superboy: "Great now he's taken four of us!"

Robin: "My scan shows it's the same gas that was used at the cave."

Aqualad: "We need to find their trail. They couldn't have gotten far."

Miss Martian: "Over here!"

Miss Martian moved a manhole cover revealing a ladder. The team dropped down into a large tunnel. Tire tracks travelled in one direction, into the darkness.

Superboy: "Alright let's go!"

Superboy stepped forward to run after the tire tracks only to be held back by Aqualad.

Aqualad: "Rushing in won't help them if we trigger another ambush and are captured. We must move slowly and as a group, Robin can you scan for any traps."

Robin simply nodded in response. The four heroes then made their way down the tunnel with hopes of rescuing their friends.

Zatanna POV:

I awoke in a dimly lit room, my hands and legs were zip tied to the wooden chair I sat in. From what I could tell I was in an apartment building, though it looked abandoned. When my head cleared I realized my mouth was gagged with a cloth. I briefly struggled against the zip ties to no avail. I faced the bathroom of this apartment and it had no door but a large curtain blocking my view of whatever could be in the bathroom.

???: "Oh good you're awake."

That voice, I remember it!

???: "I was hoping your boyfriend would be cooperative, I could get what I'm after and we can all go our separate ways. Let's see if you can get him to cooperate."

The man stepped forward out of the shadows, he still wore the same outfit he had on almost a day ago now when he attacked the cave. This time he didn't have the gas mask on and I could see his face. Aaron Keener, the owner of the restaurant (Y/n) took me too.

Zatanna: "Mmhmm!"

Keener: "Your friends are fine I assure you. However your cooperation will determine if they remain so. Can you unlock ISAC?"

I shook my head no and he got the message, though he seemed rather amused at it.

Keener: "Well then, time to give (Y/n) one hell of a choice. I must admit this is my favourite part."

Keener grabbed the curtain blocking my view of the bathroom and pulled it aside. I saw (Y/n)! His head was covered with a hood and I couldn't see his face but it was him! He was tied to a chair just like I am and... oh god! His shirt is covered in blood, a lot of blood. His shirt has several large cuts in it and I can see smaller cuts on his skin beneath. He looks like he's been tortured for weeks but he's barely been here a day!

Keener violently pulled off the hood and (Y/n)'s head shot back. Oh no, no. His face is covered in blood! I can't even see the left side of his face. It looks like Keener's been beating him for days.

Keener: "Wake up!"

Keener splashed a small cup of ice water onto (Y/n)'s face. The water washed off some of the blood on his face and when our eyes met all that I could see was fear.

(Y/n): "Z-Zee..."

Zatanna: "Nnhh"

His voice was so weak he was desperately trying to stutter out something but before he could, Keener punched him directly across the face.

Zatanna: "Mhnnn!"

I could feel tears beginning to form in my eyes. I couldn't help it, seeing him being beaten like this... hurts so much.

Keener continued to beat (Y/n). The grunts of pain echoed in the room. I feel so helpless right now. Keener is mercilessly beating him to the verge of death and I can't do a thing to stop it.

Just when I thought it couldn't get worse I saw Keener pull out a knife similar to (Y/n)'s. I held my breath as Keener methodically cut gashs across (Y/n)'s body, to inflict as much pain as possible.

Keener slowly cut the side of (Y/n)'s neck and I closed my eyes as he screamed in pain. I couldn't hold back the tears any longer. The sight of (Y/n) on the verge of death and his screams of pain were too much.

The tears streamed down my face and I couldn't help but start sobbing which was muffled by the gag.

Keener backed up away from (Y/n) and I could hear him struggling to catch his breath. I slowly opened my eyes to see Keener facing me, still holding his knife.

Keener: "I'm going to start over on her if you don't give me access to the network right now!"

(Y/n): "G-go t-to hell! Traitor!"

Keener: "Fine, have it your way."

Keener moved behind me and held my head back. I could feel the knife against my throat... I looked at (Y/n) and felt the tears running down my cheek. (Y/n) had tears forming in his eyes.

(Y/n): "Wait! Please I-I'll give you the code!"

Keener: "Too late, I'm not in the mood for games."

(Y/n) stared into my eyes as I felt the knife slowly start to cut my skin. Tears were running down his cheeks as he begged Keener to stop. All I could do was let out muffled cries and sobs as I felt the blood start to trickle down my neck.

(Y/n): "Please, p-please stop! I'll give you t-the code!"

Keener: "If it's rejected or a distress password the girl's dead and it will be painful."

(Y/n): "893774."

Keener let go of me and I could see (Y/n) let out a temporary sigh of relief. Our eyes met again and he forced out a weak smile. I could tell he was trying to keep me calm but all it did was make me worry more. What will he do now? What if we don't get out of this? Where are Wally and Artemis?

*Meanwhile with Wally and Artemis*

3rd Person POV:

Artemis and Wally woke up in the basement of the apartment building inhibitor collars around their necks.

Keener had hired a local French gang to help him. The local gang was paid enough to not ask any questions and after a brief altercation they knew not to mess around with the former agent. Keener had ordered his men to 'soften up' the two heroes.

Thug 1: "Why are we beating two sidekicks into submission? Their bosses will kill us!"

Thug 2: "We aren't getting paid enough to die..."

Thug Leader: "Their bosses won't kill us but ours will! So do your jobs and hit them!"

The two thugs proceeded to punch and kick Artemis and Wally into submission. One thug swung at Artemis's jaw. She dodged it and the punch hit her inhibitor collar, disabling it. She took the opportunity and with both hands still bound in front of her with rope, smashed the thugs head and he collapsed.

Thug 2: "Alex!"

Thug Leader: "Grab her!"

Artemis put up a brave and valiant fight but was no match for the two thugs after being violently beaten and having both her hands bound.

The thugs pinned Artemis against the wall and were about to throw a punch when they were stopped by their leader.

Thug Leader: "Enough! The boss told me how to deal with the defiant ones. They have a strong bond with each other. She fights back, so start hitting the other one more."

Artemis's eyes widened in fear as the thug, not restraining her, moved over to Wally and proceeded to punch him several times before grabbing a crowbar.

Artemis: "NO! PLEASE NO!"

Artemis's cries went unanswered as the thug smashed the crowbar into Wally's ribs and legs over and over again.

Artemis: "STOP PLEASE YOU'VE WON!"

Artemis was fully crying now as Wally lay motionless less on the ground.

Thug Leader: "That's enough, throw them back in the cell."

Artemis and Wally were put back into the makeshift cell and the door was locked with chains. The thugs then proceeded to leave the room as Artemis comforted Wally and attempted to help with his injuries.

Artemis: "I-I'm s-so sorry... t-this is all my f-fault."

Tears fell from Artemis's face as she lightly sobbed while trying to wrap a large cut on Wally's leg with the curtains she tore off the barred window.

Her hands were shaking when she finished wrapping all of Wally's injuries. Wally reached up and grabbed her hand holding it tight as he pulled Artemis down beside him.

Wally: "I-it's g-going to be ok. It's not your fault..."

Wally moved Artemis so that her head would rest on his chest. Feeling Wally's heartbeat as she rested helped Artemis calm down.

Wally gently ran his fingers through her hair and Artemis let out an almost relaxed sigh. Her exhale was broken up by shaky pants that told Wally she was still scared.

Wally: "It's ok Artemis... I won't let them hurt you."

Artemis got up off of Wally's chest and crawled up overtop of him, looking down at the speedster who was unable to move she lightly laughed.

Artemis: "Ha you won't let them... you can't even stand."

Making Artemis laugh seemed to be the goal for Wally all along and he smiled at her.

Artemis: "Thank you..."

Artemis slowly leaned down and gently kissed Wally. He was slightly shocked at first but soon accepted it and wrapped his arms around Artemis, pulling her down on top of him without breaking the kiss. The pair were careful not to hurt Wally further as they deepened the kiss. They stayed like that for a few minutes, gently making out and attempting to forget about the terrible situation they were in. Their little glimpse of heaven was broken by the sound of the door being shoved open and Zatanna screaming.

Artemis and Wally gasped when they saw Zatanna being dragged into the room. Her hands and legs were both tied and she had a cloth wrapped around her head gagging her mouth.

Zatanna: "Nhnnnnn hhhrrrrr!"

Zatanna's screams made Artemis shake with fear, Wally noticed this and wrapped his arms around her in an attempt to comfort her. Zatanna was dragged into the cell opposite from Artemis and Wally. Her hands were attached to a long chain that connected to the ceiling. The thugs made it so her hands were straight up and she couldn't loosen the gag. They pulled enough of the chain so that her feet dangled mere inches off the floor.

The two thugs left the room and returned with (Y/n), he was dragged into the room and chained up facing Zatanna. He was unconscious and Artemis turned away and buried her head into Wally's neck at the sight of their injured friends.

Keener entered the room with a bag and rifle slung over his shoulder. He tossed (Y/n)'s ISAC watch onto the cell floor and smiled.

Keener: "Those two have had enough, continue to work on the agent. If I'm not back in an hour... kill him. I don't care what you do with the rest."

He then left as Artemis and Wally struggled to stand up. They looked on in horror at the thugs as the thugs entered the cell with (Y/n) and Zatanna. Zatanna violently struggled against the chains to no avail as the leader of the thugs sent a few punches into (Y/n)'s gut. Zatanna stopped struggling when she realized nothing would come of it and began sobbing, tears ran down her cheeks and soaked the cloth gag.

Wally: "Stop! You're going to kill him!"

Thug Leader: "You heard our orders and I'm not disobeying him."

Artemis: "Please we can help you! You don't have to do this, look at him he can barely speak!"

Thug Leader: "Help us? You can't even protect your friend."

Zatanna: "Nhmm!"

(Y/n): "ISAC.... K1..0"

Thug 1: "Ha look at him! He's completely out of it."

The next hour went by incredibly slowly for the captive heroes. Their cries went unanswered as the thugs continued their methodical beating. (Y/n) was hanging on by a thread. His entire body was covered in blood and his clothes were completely unrecognizable.

Thug Leader: "Well times up. Sorry bud."

The leader stepped towards (Y/n) and loaded a pistol. (Y/n) lifted his head to look at the thug as the criminal smiled.

Zatanna: "Nnnmmmm!"

Artemis: "No don't!"

Wally: "You don't have to do this!"

The thug hesitated for a moment before a loud crash was heard. Everyone that could turned their attention to the door to see Superboy standing overtop of the one criminal that wasn't in the room.

Thug Leader: "One more step and I kill your friend!"

Aqualad: "I wouldn't recommend that."

Aqualad, Robin and Miss Martian stepped into the room facing the two thugs in the cell as the second criminal aimed his gun at them.

Thug Leader: "Oh and why not? You three won't kill us no matter what I do."

???: "I will."

Their attention was drawn to the door again and behind Superboy stood three French counter-terrorist operators. They wore navy blue combat pants and shirt, with a black plate carrier. Their faces were covered by a black balaclava and they had black helmets. They stepped past Superboy and into view of everyone in the basement.

As the three French operators leveled their weapons, (Y/n) opened his eyes for the first time since Keener left and left out a pain filled laugh.

(Y/n): "H-ha ha... W-what... took you so long, Gustave?"

Gustave: "Ah mon ami, you try finding an English speaking gang in Paris. You Americans love to give us needles in a haystack, your distress call did help though."

The lead operator spoke with a thick French accent and the two thugs slowly lowered their guns in defeat.

Gustave: "Les arrêter." (Arrest them.) (Might not be a correct translation, I used google.)

(Y/n) finally made eye contact with Zatanna. His heart sank as his vision began to blur. Zatanna's tears had been streaming down her face for the last hour and her cries were just now starting to subside.

The officers moved in and took the thugs away to be charged. The Team and Gustave opened the cells and removed the collars off of Wally and Artemis. Gustave entered the cell with (Y/n) and Zatanna and freed them from the chains holding them up. (Y/n) could barely stand but was held up by Gustave as he checked his injuries.

Gustave: "Get some rest my friend, in a few weeks you'll be good to go and with-"

Gustave was cut off by Zatanna ripping (Y/n) away from him and pulling him into a hug. She cried as she buried her head into his neck and squeezed him to the point it began to hurt.

(Y/n): "I-I'm so so sorry, Zee. I'm so sorry he hurt you."

Zatanna didn't respond. She just hugged (Y/n) as tightly as she could without hurting him until her breathing steadied.

(Y/n): "T-thank you, everyone..."

Gustave: "Of course."

Aqualad: "Let's get you four back to the cave."

(Y/n): "Right... Hey Gustave, K-Kelso should be here soon..."

Gustave: "I'll take care of everything, go get some rest. There's a few cars outside that will take you wherever you need to go."

Aqualad: "Thank you for your assistance but we have our own transportation."
