Over night, most leaguers got to slink off home to sleep, as they decided it'd be better to leave the children in the mountain's living room than wake them from their sleep to drag them else where. figuring that they'd probably sleep most of the night, only Diana Prince stayed the night with the newly returned Red Tornado for backup.
Dick woke up frequently throughout the night requiring care, but other than M'gann (Who'd shifted inadvertently back to her White form) picking up on other's emotions, and Wally waking up around four am wanting a cup of water, they all slept pretty sound.
By the time the others relieved her shift in the morning, the Amazon was almost asleep on one of the couches with a Robin napping on her rib cage.
"They've been angels all night." She hummed peacefully, sitting up, barely remembering to hold Dick securely as she did.
"Yeah, well they're about to get a whole lot less angelic once they wake up." Barry replied, holding out his arms to take Dick from her.
"Which is why it is now your turn." Diana smiled, passing him the baby in her arms.
"So that's why you wanted night shift." Dinah asked
"Oh, they're darlings." The first woman gave the youngest child a gentle kiss on the forehead. "Make sure Ms. Martian wakes up first so she can shapeshift to her preferred body."
"Of course." Black Canary was basically the team's co-parent, she knew how to take care of them.
"Tornado is upstairs if there's an emergency." The Amazon wished them good bye and left to get a few hours of rest before Diana Prince was required in a meeting.
It would be another hour or so before any of the children woke up. They began stirring awake around seven-fifty.
Honestly it was surprising. No one could imagine the kids willingly getting up before nine, but no one expected them to be toddlers either, and here we are.
The first thing the present adults (the present adults being Barry and Dinah) did was make sure M'gann was in her body, and that Kaldur was hydrated, since he had a habit of almost drowning in the air and not telling anyone so as not to worry them.
Next they helped Artemis and Wally get ready for the day, which primarily involved helping them use the toilet and brush their teeth and such. Luckily, they wouldn't need help dressing, since they'd slept in the only clothes they had.
Conner's eyes shot open at exactly eight 'o' clock. He neatly crawled out of his box, and walked straight to the table for breakfast, which consisted mostly of dry cereal, and cups of milk or juice. Luckily, the children seemed contented with this, even Dick, who couldn't eat much at the moment.
"We should probably get formula, right?" Barry asked.
"Yeah."
That marked the end of the conversation, as the children needed aid again. God those kids were messy, chalk it up to bad motor control, but it was clear that they were right about needing to get the children more clothes.
"The stores open, right?" The speedster asked.
"Probably." Dinah replied, putting a few dishes in the sink so they could be ignored more conveniently. "It is Friday, right?"
"Uh huh?"
She thought for a second and checked the clock. "Nine-fifteen on a Friday, most places in Happy Harbour should be open."
"Alright, so I suggest: clothes are A-priority, and then Formula for Dickie, and...." Barry shrugged. "How long do you think we'll have to keep them?"
"Let's estimate... a week?" She grabbed a kitchen chair and placed Kaldur atop so he was tall enough to wash his hands at the sink.
"Thank you." The boy said, just as politely as ever.
"You're very welcome."
"Welp." Barry straightened up and stretched. "If you want to Zeta down, I'll run Wally down to try and burn off some of that energy."
"But-" Dinah was about to ask if the three year old would be able to manage a 3.7 kilometre run, when there was the pounding of bare foot on tile, and the child zipped past them on his fourth circuit of the mountain that morning. "Never mind."
"HEY! You're going to hurt yourself!" Barry shouted after his nephew "At least wear shoes!"
"Oh! They need shoes!" Dinah added.
"So where can we take six kids with no shoes and filthy clothes, none of whom look anything alike?"
"You're right, we look like kidnappers." Dinah admitted. "We just need to find somewhere where that isn't the most concerning thing they'll see Today."

Happy Harbour thrift store. It's either where dreams are made, or where dreams die, the scientists where still out on that one.
"Alright, everyone hold hands to stay together." Dinah was met by much complaining, mostly from Artemis, but as she was currently the smallest in the group (aside from Dick, who their den mother was carrying), the others disregarded her whining, and dragged her along at the end of their child-chain.
Barry and Wally met them there, Wally was panting a little, but still had the energy to be bouncing where he stood.
"Are we all ready?"
"Seems like it. Wally, can you join the chain?"
"Uh huh!" Wally gripped Artemis' hand at the end of the line.
"No!" Artemis yelled. "I don't like 'im! Make 'im stop!"
"Stop what?" Wally asked.
"Everything!" The girl cried, stomping a foot.
"I'm not doing it!" Wally exclaimed. "what she said! I'm not doing it!"
"Yes you are!" She shouted. Wally stuck out his tongue. "See? Make him stop!"
In the interests of Artemis having not having a meltdown, they moved Wally between M'gann and Conner to keep the three-year-olds separate. At that distance they could still torment each other, but it would get a lot less physical.
Dinah lowered herself closer to their height, shifting her hold on Dick so he wouldn't slip through her arms. "Alright, we have some rules for when we're inside: We don't yell, we don't grab anything, we don't use any of our powers, and we don't run away." She spoke firmly and slowly so they'd understand. "And if you break the rules, then you'll have go wait outside. do you all understand?"
Most of the kids just nodded, looking quite scared. She hadn't been trying to scare them, but it must just be the principle of being given firm rules.
"Shall he head in?" Barry asked.
"We shall."

Getting a cart was clearly the right decision, they were going to need it for the supplies they were getting, but it proved a convenient place to put children. First Dick was put inside so Dinah could rest their arms; next, Wally was looking like he was considering running off, and was thus invited to ride in the cart, which he found immensely exciting. So much so that Artemis demanded the same affection. Swell, three of the most troublesome were contained.
Conner was walking a few paces behind the cart, staring ahead contentedly. He wondered what Wolf was doing at home alone.
M'gann, who'd briefly decided to ride in the cart, invited him to join her. When Conner declined, she decided she wanted to walk to, and keep him company. She levitated from the cart (she was starting to get a slightly better hang on her levitating act), and dropped to the floor.
"M'gann." She turned around nervously. "No powers, remember."
M'gann nodded, looking like she wanted to cry. "...Sorry."
"It's okay." The woman relented, she didn't like seeing the kids so scared of her. "Just don't do it again, or we'll have to tie you to something."
M'gann nodded, taking the joke very seriously, and skipped back too join Conner. She immediately began chatting while the boy walked next to her in silence, listening intently. Yep, she was Conner's best (and only) bipedal friend. Pretty surprising for a kid who seemed to befriend every animal he met.
Kaldur was only really an issue because he had a habit of day dreaming, and lagging behind, it was trouble enough that he had webbed fingers and toes, and gills, which had the possibility of catching people's attention. and that's not even getting started on the tattoos.
"Kaldur, do you want to wear my sweater?" Dinah asked, shimmying off her cardigan, which she'd only brought because she had to leave the house before sunrise.
"Why?"
"We just want to keep our secret identities as secret as possible." Barry replied. Kaldur just cocked his head in mild confusion, but interest. "To hide your arms so that no one will know our secret identities." Years with Wally had shown the older speedster that kids were terrible at being secretive, but would jump at the opportunity to have a secret.
"Okay. I will." The child took the cardigan, which was very large on him, and climbed into it.
First they tried to find shoes, since that seemed to be a MAJOR priority. I mean, children barefoot wasn't too unusual, since it was summer, but shoes would prevent a lot of potential injuries. They managed to find trainers for Conner and M'gann, sandals for Kaldur, and Velcro shoes for Artemis and Wally.
Once that was done, the went to the small children's size racks and essentially grabbed anything that could potentially fit the kids. They already had one pair of shorts, and one shirt each, so they grabbed a few pairs of pants and shorts, and many shirts, these kids got a lot of stuff on their shirts.
Unfortunately, as the adults worked at it, Wally and Artemis were getting bored.
Dinah sighed and glanced at her colleague. "Did I make a 'no fighting' rule?"
Barry thought about it and shook his head. "Hey! Break!" He reached into the cart and separated the two.
Dick, who hadn't received attention in almost five minutes, began crying.
"Christ." Dinah sighed, trying not to stress over this. She dropped the clothing she'd been admiring in the cart and stooped down to pick Dick up.
"Let me." Barry took the baby from her. "I'll take him out and got get the stuff we need from the drugstore."
"Thank you." She swallowed hard. "We'll meet back at the zeta tube."
"Sure thing." The speedster shook Dick slightly in his arms and hurried from the building.

Barry had did a surprisingly good job at soothing the youngest child, and was now resting the baby on his shoulder. He just let Dick put part of his shirt in his mouth, since it seemed to calm the infant.
Luckily, having Dick removed quickly made the others shut up and behave until they'd checked out. Well, at least they had shoes and cloths now, plus the formula, bottles, pacifiers, and other miscellaneous things they had needed; so the adults took their kiddos back up to the mountain.
At the end of the day, the kids had tried to behave, even if they weren't good at it. The adults had to be thankful for that.
