Complications we Should have Seen Coming

"What are you two doing in here?"
"Playing with Wolf." M'gann reported, laying on top of the beast and hugging him. The massive Wolf let out one of those heavy dog sighs. He was being surprisingly patient about having two toddlers climbing all over him like a jungle gym.
"Does Black Canary know you're here?" Diana asked. M'gann shook her head a little, remembering that she'd been sent to find Conner. Wolf shifted with a canine groan as M'gann tugged a fistful of his fur.
"Don't do that." Conner told her. He was lying on the floor, his head resting on his dog's fur.
"Maybe we shouldn't play on your Wolf." Oliver suggested nervously prompting the massive creature to growl at him.
"No, he's a nice doggy." M'gann insisted as the beast let out another low growl.
The huge white wolf stood, shaking the four-year-olds out of his mane of fur. Wolf glared at the adults with a guttural growl.
The kids were a lot smaller that he remembered, but Wolf refused to let them get hurt. Especially when they were this small and energetic, like puppies.
"No!" Conner told him, even though he was about a third of his dog's height now. "Wolf, Down!"
Instantly, the massive Wolf's ears straightened up, it yawned, and sat down again. "Good boy." Conner told him, leaning up against his dog on the floor.
"Let's go sit with your friends." Diana suggested.
Conner looked upset. "But Wolf."
"You can go without him." Oliver suggested, trying to get all the kids in one place again. "Your dog will be okay."
"No!" Conner said firmly.

"Uncle Barry!" Wally sprung up, running over at the speed of a car and tackling into his uncle's legs.
"Hi Wally." The older speedster staggered to regain his balance. "What are you doing in here?"
"Drawing." Wally said proudly. "Look!" He sprinted back to the table and proudly held up his work.
"Wow! That looks awesome!" Barry told his child nephew enthusiastically. "That must have been a LOT of work."
"Yeah!" The redhead grinned. He leaned around the adults to see his friends and Wolf. "Hi!" He dropped his drawing on the couch and ran over to play with Wolf. "Let's play."
"Okay!" M'gann agreed without question.
Conner wrapped his arms around Wolf's side. "Only If he can play."
Wally nodded. "Okay!"
Oliver leaned over to his colleague. "How do you do that?"
"Hmm?"
"How are you that good with children?"
"I've been babysitting Wally since Iris and I have been together." The speedster shrugged the question off like handling children was no big deal. "I know how to take care of him, and I'd say I'm pretty good with Dick, too."
"Well great." The Archer said, a little jealous. "Put those skills to work."
"Did I miss anything?" Dinah asked.
"Afraid not." Diana shook her head. "We couldn't get further than bringing up the problems."
The other woman nodded, she expected nothing more. "Well, we're managing alright here." She leaned over and waved to Conner and M'gann. "There you two are! Let's stay in here for now, okay?"
"Okay." M'gann ran over to join Artemis and Kaldur. She only got about four steps before she noticed that her feet weren't touching the ground. The Martian flailed her arms out, trying to steady herself as her legs kicked infront of her.
She let out a shriek of surprise, pulling a solid sommersault and-a-half, being lifted off the ground. The Earth's gravitational pull was so much different than on mars, and since she couldn't density shift, she'd been the same mass the whole time she was on earth, but now she was so much smaller and lighter.
The girl tried to lower herself to the ground, but couldn't focus enough.
Diana kicked off the ground and grabbed the Martian around the middle, safely towing her back to the ground. it seemed that the more anxious she got, the higher her brain pulled her into the air.
"Are you alright, Darling?" The Amazon cooed, holding her safely. M'gann was shaking a little, green skin paling to reveal markings in her skin. Her eyes seemed to be turning red as she struggled to manage her shapeshifting.
"M'gann, it's okay. We've got you!" Dinah sprung up, taking the kid from WonderWoman, and immediately felt her heels lifting off the floor from the child's strength. Diana grabbed a hold of them to stop them floating off. "Thanks." Black Canary passed the child back off to the Amazon, who could anchor her better.
Oliver was watching the proceedings, hovering over Artemis awkwardly. The blonde kept looking over her shoulder at him. He wasn't completely sure how to interact with her.
"We have fitting clothes for you all." Barry announced. "You don't have to wear your huge costumes anymore."
His Nephew bounced a little with excitement. "Yay!" It was hard to run in non-fitting clothes.
"We only have a little, but we can get more tomorrow when the stores are open." Barry began looking through the bag he was holding, and taking out miscellaneous clothing articles. "I'm not sure if everything's going to fit, I just got some of the smallest stuff on the kids' rack." He told the other leaguers.
They sorted out one outfit for each child: a t-shirt and shorts. The exception being a red-and-green onesie for Robin since probably nothing else would fit him.
Dinah took one of the small piles of clothing for Artemis, passing it to the girl's mentor. "Artemis, are you going to need help getting changed into these?" The asked.
"No!" The toddler told her, standing from her drawing and tugging the clothing away from Green Arrow. "I wanna do it!"
"Okay." Oliver let her, seeing that Artemis was, in fact, just as hardheaded at three as she was at fifteen. "Are you sure?" He couldn't help but ask. She was so tiny!
"YES!" She said angrily.
"Alright..."
"I can!" she told him, caching on the minor disbelief.
Oliver put his hands up. "Okay, okay, I believe you."
She frowned, not buying any of it. Poor girl could never get positive reinforcement. She dragged the pile of clothes past her friends to get changed in the woman's room.
Wally saw her pass, and the clothing caught his short attention span. "I want clothes too!" He told his uncle.
"Good news then." Barry grabbed Another set of clothes (which were basically just pyjamas) for the boy. "Wait, this too." He grabbed pullups for the two little ones and chased after them.
Meanwhile, attention was drawn to the Conner, who was practically hanging from Wolf's neck. "Conner, do you want new clothes too?"
"No." He replied.
"Why not?"
"I like this." He gripped his S-shield shirt.
The adults didn't know what to make of that. They knew Conner owned about thirty copies of the same shirt, but it was HUGE! He was tripping over it with every step, wouldn't he want comfortable clothes?
"You can keep the shirt on if you want?" Dinah offered, grabbing just the pyjama shorts for him. Conner didn't let go of Wolf to take them, so she placed the article on the floor next to him. "Kaldur, what about you."
"Okay..." He relented.
"You and Barry!" Oliver exclaimed. "How do you do that?"
Dinah shrugged "They're just like concentrated versions of their teenage selves. If you'd managed them as a team, you'd find it easier. "
"Was I expected to do that?" He asked. "You and Red Tornado are their den mothers!"
"I did invite you to TA our training sessions." Canary replied with a hearty dash of attitude
