He took the handcuffs off as she crossed her arms and glared at him. "You can't do this your not a fucking officer!" She yelled angrily catching people's attention. He sighed and spun the cuffs around his finger. "Tell me what's been going on and I won't handcuff you" he said as she looked down at her feet. Maybe Dick could help her after all? "Okay but you can't tell anyone" she said as he put the cuffs away and nodded. "Well I have an hour until I have to be back at the Academy and we're both going on this subway train to North Gotham. Take all of the time you need" he said as the train arrived.

The two stepped on and went to the back where it was deserted. No one ever sat at the back of the train because it was far from the doors. "So where do you want to start?" He asked sitting on a bench across from hers. Legs swung over the side as he lounged paying full attention to her. "After you left Roquette and Kaldur's wedding I went looking for you. I watched your car leave and I-I didn't know what to do so I went back to Gotham. Jon was pissed that I left and when I came back it wasn't so good" she said as he continued to listen.

She talked and talked until tears began to stream down her cheeks. "Now I live in a shitty house with an asshole of a boyfriend who hits me no matter what I do" she cried out as she began to sob even harder. Standing up he went to comfort her when the train screeched to a stop sending him flat on his back on the floor. Looking down she began to laugh a real laugh. He groaned before standing up and flashing her an embarrassed smile. "I will walk you to your babysitting place" he said holding his arm out to her as she took it.

     If she was walking with an officer she wouldn't get hurt. He surveyed the area and smirked to himself taking her to a local elementary school. "Thanks Dick" she said giving him a small smile. He nodded and patted her back placing a tracker on her backpack. "I'll see you again and remember if that ass tries to hurt you just call" he said as she nodded with an uneasy smile. Turning on his heel he walked away shaking his head while taking his phone out. "I know you won't call Zee that's why I placed a damn tracker on you" he muttered to himself activating it on his cellphone.

     Being Bruce Wayne's adopted son had his perks. For example getting first grabs on Wayne Technology and such. He made it back just in time to walk into his class at the Academy. While everyone else would be doing training he just had to brush up on his knowledge on the law. It was quite boring in his opinion. What he didn't know was that he would be getting an unexpected roommate soon.

     The last thing's she remembered flashed through her mind. Sitting up with her eyes opening wide the monitor spiked. Her heart was racing as she held her chest. Bandaged hand resting against the hospital gown she wore. A couple Nurse's ran in when they got notice of the sudden change in her condition. "Oh Miss Roth you're awake" a Nurse said as Raven looked around. The car crash and grabbing Mar'i and everything was still being processed in her brain. "Miss Roth are you alright?" She asked taking a light out and flashing it in the girls eyes.

     Raven began to blink a couple times before looking at herself. "Where's my Niece?" Raven asked as the Nurse sighed. "She's not dead is she?" She asked suddenly fearing the worst. The two year old couldn't have died, it would just kill her if she did. "No but she is in the next room with minor injuries" the lady said as Raven could now breathe easily. Then it hit her like a brick wall. "What about Kori? You know Kori Anders?" She asked seeing a frown appear on her face.

     Raven could feel tears beginning to cloud her vision. "The crash had hurt her brain quite a bit and she had lost her memory of the last couple of years. Miss Anders parents are on their way to transfer the girl to another hospital" the Nurse said as tears began to stream down the girls cheeks. "Wait. We were on our way to give Mar'i to her father. He hadn't known about her but Kori had to go away and I couldn't take care of her by myself" Raven sputtered out as the Nurse raised an eyebrow.

     If Raven hadn't said this information the two year old would've been given to the local orphanage. "Do you know who the father is?" She asked as Raven nodded balling her hands into fists. "R-Richard Grayson. If you call him mention Kori's name he'll probably understand" Raven said as the Nurse nodded and walked out. If Kori had lost her memory she might not know who Raven was. Without Kori she will have nowhere to go. That's when the door opened again as a blonde boy walked in.

     While Garfield and his Uncle were driving back they were listening to the news on the radio. They had mentioned Raven's name when they were talking about car accidents. "Hey Rae" he said breathlessly seeing how broken she looked. He quickly pulled the purple rose from behind his back and handed it to her. On the way here he ran into the flower shop downstairs. They had dyed flowers so he got a rose in her favourite colour. "G-Garfield?" She sniffled out quickly wiping her tears.

     She couldn't afford to look weak in front of anyone, even him. Taking the rose she smelt it as a small smile came to her face. He took her bandaged hand and pressed his lips to it. "When I expected to see you again I didn't think it would be in a hospital" he said as she rolled her eyes at him with a faint blush tinting her pale cheeks. "I won't be here for long anyways. I'm not old enough to live alone and I have nowhere to go so they'll probably send me to an orphanage or something" she said as he frowned.

     Within seconds his eyes lit up as he grinned happily. "My sister Megan just went to University so we have an extra room now. If you want you can stay I'm pretty sure my Uncle won't mind" he said as she looked away blushing. Why was he being so nice to her? After a quick minute of thinking she let out a long sigh. "I guess" she said as his smile returned to his face.

Today they both got off early from their classes which was good. Well better than good for Wally because he really wanted to spend time with Artemis. "So why are we at a Museum?" She asked walking alongside him. He intertwined their fingers and smiled. "Well my dear Artemis what's better place to hang out with my girlfriend at than a Museum?" He asked as she raised an eyebrow. That whole sentence just made no sense to her. "Okay fine they were having a new exhibit today and it was for trying food from around the world" he said scratching the back of his head with a sheepish smile.

     She rolled her eyes at this response. "Of course you would take me on a date to a Museum serving food" she said with a slight laugh at the end. "How are you not fat anyways?" She asked raising an eyebrow as they walked through the dinosaur exhibit. "Born with a higher metabolism then normal people and I always go for morning runs" he said as she nodded. Wally always got up early to run and made sure breakfast was on the table for her when she woke up. "Your a weirdo but I love you" she said with a breathless sigh.

     They both stared up at the giant bones of an old T-Rex as Wally let out a dry laugh. "Now if that was chasing me I would be running so face I would break the barrier on the speed of sound" he said with a chuckle as she nodded in agreement. Even though they were just bones it was still chilling to see that there was something this large walking on the soil they all currently walk on. Finally he managed to drag her to the area with all of the food in it. The Museum was holding a special exhibit just for the day that revolved around food from around the world.

     Letting go of his hand she signaled that it was okay for him to go. It wasn't long until he came back with a plate of food for them to share. "So this thing is not chocolate but it tastes like it" he said handing her something as she stared at it. Sighing she popped it in her mouth and began to chew it. A couple more different food's later she had earned herself a stomach ache. "Can we go home now?" She asked as he nodded slinging his arm around her shoulder's as they left the Museum.

     All in all she thought it was a pretty good date. It wasn't like the usual sitting inside and watching movies or going to dinner type of thing. "Baby Brucely is going to be so happy when we get back" she said as Wally chuckled. "You can't call him 'Baby Brucely' forever Arty. He's going to grow bigger than what he already is" he said as she rolled her eyes with a smirk on her face. "That doesn't stop you from calling me baby" she whispered into his ear as his cheeks flushed s bright red.

     Making Wally flustered wasn't a hard thing to do and it always made her giggle. His face would sometimes match the colour of his hair. "Arty" he whined with his cheeks still as red as tomatoes. As they walked down the sidewalk some people stared at the happy couple. After all it was hard to find happy people in Gotham in general. Most people were reduced to poverty or living in shitty houses. When they got back to the apartment Brucely fell off the couch and waddled over with his tongue sticking out.

     Artemis picked the puppy up and began to give it smooches all over his face. "Awe how come I don't get any kisses?" Wally complained as she rolled her eyes and walked over kissing him softly. "There. Now you can't complain" she said walking away towards the couch. "Man she's still a goddess with or without her clothes on" he muttered as she smirked widely. "I heard that!" She yelled; voice echoing throughout the apartment. He groaned now blushing a bright red again.

    Sitting on the couch she put Brucely down on the floor watching the puppy waddle off towards the kitchen. Wally walked over and fell onto the couch no lying on her. "Get off" she grumbled as he sighed. "Gravity is increasing on me Arty" he said as she rolled her eyes. "It won't be increasing on you when I kick your ass" she muttered as he smirked evilly. "Wally your butt is crushing on me" she whined as he sighed again sitting up only to grab her by her waist and pull her to his chest. "Now we can cuddle and watch the Bachelore-I mean a movie" he said as she looked back at him.

     Rolling her eyes she leaned into him with a cheeky smile. "Don't lie to me I know you secretly love that show, I've seen your recordings list" she said as he sighed resting his chin on top of her head. "Its not my fault that its a damn good show" he muttered under his breath as she chuckled. With Artemis's instigating that night they didn't have time to watch the Bachelorette. Instead they found a fun way to occupy themselves alone in their bedroom.
