It was an early start to his day as he woke up and changed into his uniforms. He was graduating from the Academy in three days which was why he was so happy. "Good morning" he said walking into the kitchen to see Zatanna oddly cooking while holding Mar'i. "Your cooking why?" He asked furrowing his brows as she shrugged with a small smile. "I needed to do something after Mar'i woke up" she said as he nodded with a skeptical look still on his face. He quickly ate the eggs and bacon that she made before leaving.

        He wasn't in hurry so he decided to take his time and walk. As soon as it turned November the weather started to immediately turn bitter. On his was to the train station his cellphone began ringing as the apartments number came up. Zatanna had yet to get a phone to call off of so it was always the places one home phone. "Hello?" he asked hearing yelling in the background. "Dick! Dick please come home there's something wrong with Mar'i!" she yelled before the line went dead.

Panic spread through his body as he began to run out of the station and towards the apartment complex. Heart pounding; he ran passing grumpy people until he arrived at the apartment complex. The door was unlocked and half open as he cautiously walked in with his hand hovering over his gun. "Zatanna?" he asked before hearing a pained scream sounding from her bedroom.

     Taking the pistol out the cool metal rested in his hands as he aimed it towards the floor. Quietly walking towards Zatanna's bedroom door he heard soft sobbing before another pained scream. This voice didn't sound like Zatanna's which slightly confused him as he pressed himself up against the wall. "It's okay sweetie Daddy will be here soon" she said in a soft voice as she saw a shadow pass the door. Gently opening the door he peered inside to see Zatanna sitting on the floor cradling a six year old in her arms. "Where's Mar'i?" he asked crouching down as she looked up at him. "Dick this is Mar'i and I don't what happened but she just started screaming in pain and growing" she said as the kid screamed again.

This was way weirder than he expected it to be as he fell onto his butt. "We'll take her to a hospital" he said as Zatanna shook her head immediately. "You know how stupid that will look Dick? Saying that she's now magically a six year old and still aging by the minute" she said as he sighed and nodded. That did sound like an outrageous story to tell. Her eyes lit up for a moment as she stood up and handed Mar'i to Dick. "I've got a couple calls to make just take her down the the car I'll be there soon" she said as he nodded.

He nodded once again and disappeared as she walked into the kitchen and took the phone off of the hook. Dialing the number she clutched the phone as she held it to her ear. When the person answered she let out a sigh of relief. "Barbara we need your help" she said before explaining what had happened. Dick was walking down the stairs to the parking garage as Mar'i clutched his uniforms shirt sobbing horrifically. "Daddy it hurts" she sobbed out as he opened the car and placed he inside.

Fast footsteps echoed as Zatanna appeared with a blanket in her arms. "Wrap her in this so she's comfortable" Zatanna said as he put the blanket gently over the crying girl. "What's the plan?" He asked as they were now pulling out of the parking garage and going onto the street. "I called some people and they said to head to the old clock tower" she said as he nodded. Mar'i kept sobbing as Zatanna reached back giving the girl her hand as she held onto it for dear life.

There was a call to his phone as it buzzed against the bedside table. Groaning she sat up and stared at the red head's cellphone. It was an unknown number as she yawned and answered it. "Hello?" She asked in a groggy voice. "Artemis? Artemis its me Zatanna where's Wally?" Zatanna asked in a panicked voice as the blonde raised an eyebrow. "Right next to me sleeping why?" She asked yawning again whilst rubbing her eyes. "Just go to the old clock tower now its important!" Zatanna yelled before the phone line went dead.

This seemed to be really important and by the way she was acting something was clearly wrong. "Wally get up" she said nudging his shoulder as he groaned. "Arty its too early" he complained as she flicked him in the forehead. Standing up she went through the closet and quickly pulled on a pair of black leggings and a beige plain knitted sweater with a pale green infinite scarf. "Arty what the hell? Why are you in such a hurry?" He asked rubbing his emerald eyes as she threw an outfit at him.

When he walked out of the room she already had the car key's in her hand. "Hurry up this is clearly important" she said as he slipped his running shoes on. Following her out of the apartment and down to the parking garage they got into the car. "What so important?" He asked impatiently as she sighed. "Zatanna called sounding panicked and told us to meet her at the old clock tower in Gotham" she said as he nodded turning the radio up. The traffic was horrible as she tapped her fingers against the steering wheel.

Without any warning she quickly turned the car and began driving down a side street. "Artemis what the hell!" He yelled feeling his heart beat speeding up. Soon enough they arrived at the old clock tower parking just behind Dick's car. Getting out of the car another one pulled up as Roquette stepped out looking confused. "Zatanna called sounding distressed did she call you guy's as well?" She asked as Artemis and Wally nodded in sync. The front doors of the clock tower opened as Dick came outside.

     The three of them looked over and immediately glared at him. "Is this a prank?" Wally asked in an annoyed tone as Dick shook his head. "Just come on" he said as they followed him inside. "Yeah I'm not climbing up those stairs" Roquette said beginning to turn around to leave. "There's an elevator come on!" He yelled as a pained yell rang down from the top of the tower. The scream sent the chills down everyone's spines as they stepped into the elevator.

     The ride up was nerve wrecking as she leaned against Wally. When the doors opened they walked into an apartment filled with computers. "Welcome to the tower now come on" he said as the screams became louder. "How is she Barbara?" He asked as the red head said looking back from her place at the computer. "Not good the pain in her body keeps spiking" Barbara said as the girl screamed again. "Who's this?" Artemis asked holding Wally's hand as they walked over to the couch.

     This seven year old girl looked like it was Mar'i with the solid green eyes. "Something happened and she just started aging" Zatanna said from her spot on the floor next to the girl. "It's slowed a bit but we don't know how to stop it" Dick said with a grim look on his face. "So why call us?" Roquette asked slightly confused and that's when the elevator dinged as the door opened. "Wally you're science smart, Roquette you've been training to be a doctor, Barbara works for the U.S military which gives her access to everything" he said as Tim and Cassie walked in.

     The blonde's head was staring to hurt as she swayed a bit. Wally caught her and gave her a concerned look before she shook her head. "Sorry just all of this is just so out of the ordinary" she said still shocked. Tim gave Dick a fist bump before going over to Barbara and working on the computer. "Please help" he begged as his voice cracked a bit. "Test her for any drugs. Can your computer do that Barbara?" Roquette asked as the red head smirked. "Oh yeah this computer is Wayne Technologies at its finest" she said with a small smile.

     It looked as if Barbara went back to something she was good at and got a job out of it. "Why are Wally and I here?" The blonde asked slightly confused. "Wally is Science smart and you're good for moral support" Zatanna answered as the kid screamed in pain again. "Now let's get to work and help save Mar'i!" Artemis announced sounding as positive as possible.

     It was a couple hours earlier in Happy Harbor as she yawned waking up. School had been boring after Artemis, Wally, Dick, Roquette and everyone left. Her mind was cloudy until the memories of last night flooded in. She had been watching a movie with Tim and they must've fallen asleep. He was a comfy pillow and she fell asleep between his legs, head resting against his chest. Staring up at his sleeping face she smiled and pulled his face down giving him a sweet kiss. Eyes fluttering open he smiled against her lips happily.

     As he pulled away her fingers trailed down his cheeks and then fell back to her stomach. "If I could wake up to a kiss like that every morning I would never get out of bed" he said as she smirked sitting up to let him stretch. Dark hair falling in front of his eyes as she brushed it behind his ear. "Well we could change that, the part about you not getting out of bed" she said with a wink as he blushed. Just then Alfred walked in as she yelped and fell off the bed pulling the blankets and Tim with her.

A loud thump was heard as Alfred chuckled. "I am dreadfully sorry for disturbing you and Master Tim but Master Dick has called. He wishes you to speak with him immediately" Alfred said before leaving the room with a sly smirk on his face. "You should call him" she said staring up into his eyes. "Fine" he said as she smiled untangling him and herself from the blankets. Whilst doing that he fell back onto her causing a blush to spread across her cheeks. Finally they were untangled as he checked the many missed calls on his phone.

Dialing the number he held the phone to his ear as Cassie fell onto the bed next to him humming a sweet tune. She watched as his facial expression changed from calm to serious in just a few minutes. "Is everything alright?" She asked slightly confused as he stood up and quickly fixed his hair. "Want to take a quick trip to Gotham City?" He asked as she nodded with a smirk. "Hell yeah" she said brushing her long blonde hair with her fingers. "But how will we get there?" She asked as he grabbed a laptop hidden underneath his bed.

She followed him downstairs as he ran a hand through his hair. "Alfred can you call and get the jet started up? Cassie and I need to take a trip to Gotham quickly" he said as Alfred sighed and nodded watching the two go out of the door. "Isn't Alfred driving us to the airport?" She asked as the garage opened to a sportbike. "Got my license yesterday" he said flashing his license in his wallet. Gulping he tossed her a helmet as she caught it putting it on. "You kill us Timothy Drake and I'll slap you so hard in the afterlife you'll end up in hell" she growled as he nodded with a pale face.

That's how the two of them ended up at the clock tower so fast. "Hey long time no see so what's up?" She asked walking over to see a little girl lying on a couch. "Mommy it hurts!" The girl cried out as Zatanna paled. "Did she just-did she?" Just like that Zatanna fainted and everything was just so screwed up. "I think I figured it out!" Roquette and Wally yelled at the same time.
