The chanting from the sorcerers continued. Klarion disappeared soon after.

   Alyssa set down the groceries, and much to Noah's delight, there were cookies. Zatanna recited a spell as Nightwing walked up to her. "I'm glad you brought Alice and Zach, old friend. Are you going to allow them to join the team?" Zatanna sighed. "I don't know. Artemis doesn't want them to meet her side of the family right now, and I don't feel comfortable letting them risk their lives. I wish we could get used to the idea that they're, uh, growing up." Suddenly, the entire team disappeared. "ALICE! ZACH!" Zatanna yelled. Nightwing gasped, then sighed. "Artemis is gonna kill all of us." 

   At Star labs, a mob had formed outside. Sportsmaster was leading them. "Those eggheads in there know what happened to our children! For all we know, they're the ones behind this! Make them confess!" He said. As the employees tried to control the crowd, someone slipped away with a briefcase. 

   At the mountain, Zatanna was staring at the helmet of fate. "Exactly how desperate are we?" She asked as Nightwing walked up to her. "I informed the watchtower that you located the source at Roanoke. Everyone but Kid Flash, Artemis, and Aqualad are deployed to avert chaos. Tornado, you, the others, and I are on our own." "I would do anything to get them back." Zatanna said. "Yes," Nightwing started, "But we both know there are many ways for you to lose them." "Soo, not that desperate." Zatanna responded. "The entire League is unavailable?" She asked. "Except maybe for Captain Marvel, he's missing."

   On the plane, meanwhile, Billy was struggling to control the plane. "I can't," He said to himself, "if I say it, I'll be an adult. And maybe disappear forever! Captain Marvel may have the courage of Achilles, but Billy Batson..." He paused before he got an idea. "Has the courage of Billy Batson! SHAZAM!" Lightning struck as he transformed. "Woah!" He said, falling out of the sky before catching himself. "Hey! I didn't disappear!" Suddenly, he heard Amber scream. He dove after her and caught her.

   'Recognized, Captain Marvel, 1-5.' The computer said, turning the heads of Artemis, Zatanna, and Nightwing. "Alright guys, I'm here to-" "Where have you been?!" Artemis asked, frantic. He lit up. "You're back!" He rushed forward and hugged them. "Is it over? Where's the team?" Artemis glared at him. "First of all, put me down, second of all, WHAT??!!" "Haven't you heard?" Zatanna yelled, exasperated. "Every child in the world has-" Nightwing stopped her. "Wait. Where have you been?" "On a world without adults!" He exclaimed. "Holy crap, there are two worlds!" "Two dimensions. One for adults-" "And one for kids!" "And you can travel between them?" Zatanna asked. "I think I can. I know I can! SHAZAM!" He yelled, and disappeared.

   "It worked!" Billy yelled, alerting the team to his presence. He turned around to see Sonic, Blue Jay, Archer, Supermartian, Ambush, and Aqualass staring at him. They all walked toward him. "Where did you come from? Who are you?" Aqualass asked. "Quick, read my mind!" Billy ordered. Mind Mistress gasped. "He's Captain Marvel!" She said, astonished. Archer scoffed. "Yeah, and I'm Katniss Everdeen. Just because he believes he's Cap-" "Come on, Alice, do I really have to get you Root Beer and Churros to get on your good side?" Billy said, smug. The entire team stared at him. "Yup, he's Captain Marvel." Archer said.

   The teams both had a joint meeting, where Captain Marvel traveled between realms to give information. "The key is an attack at the same time, we must disrupt their efforts, and hope the two dimensions merge back into one."
