Also, please note that Rocket and Zatanna are also here in case any of you get confused.

But just to clear it up, the Team consists of: (For now) 

Superboy, Aqualad, Zatanna, Rocket, Miss Martian, Artemis, Kid Flash.

(Robin's P.O.V.)

I continued discussing what had happened with the League and the Team and how we had failed to free the league. After that, we had fallen into a normal chat. I had been able to forget about all the pain I was feeling. But it didn't last long. I had stopped moving. Meaning the League could track me easier. What I wasn't expecting however, was to be face to face with a team. My team. Aqualad, Superboy, Kidflash, Miss Martian, Rocket, Zatanna, and Artemis.

My heart beat loudly in my chest when I saw them. Their blank faces. So void of emotions. They're smiles had vanished completely. I could no longer see it. I could no longer see their happiness. All I could see was their emotionless faces and the fact they were willing to kill. My eyes glassed over slightly as I stood up, my face no longer showing any emotion. What was I supposed to feel in a situation like this? Happy? Sad? Betrayed? Anger?

All I felt was emptiness. The people who had become like big brothers and sisters to me were ready to kill me. Well... One of them maybe a little more then a bigger sister... 

"What do we do?" Cherry asked, her face serious. Cherry may take everything lightly, and be a complete airhead but when it comes to a fight her mind is a steel trap. Ghost is just naturally super smart.

(A/N Bare with me. I suck at things like fight scenes.... So just try and bare with me, okay? Enjoy the chapter... ^^)

"We escape." I stated as KF came speeding towards us. I immediately reached for a light grenade from my belt and threw it straight at him, before throwing another at the team. I ignored my own emotions and began running towards my bike, leaving the safety of the tree and running straight into the pouring rain.

The void in my heart had also come back, but I pushed on and did my best to ignore it. Granted, it seemed to be taking control of my entire body. My hair instantly stuck to my forehead. I was tackled from behind. I rolled on the floor, little rocks poking at me. I scowled and pushed myself up before I could be tackled down again. 

Something whizzed past me. I grit my teeth. Wally. I'd have to fight him... Something tackled me again, this time staying on top of me. Before I could react, a fist collided with my face. A bone snapped under the punch I received. I grabbed Wally by the shoulders and switched our positions, Wally now underneath me.

"Wally! Listen to me! You have to fight it!" I shouted. I knew there wasn't much of a chance he'd break free, since Batman couldn't but I had to try.

"Don't let them control you!" A boot connected with my stomach pushing me off. I got up again and searched in vain for the speedster. I reached for a batarang.

"Wally!" I shouted, twisting and turning in the rain. I could barely see anything! I grit my teeth. It was dark and hard to see even for me, I wouldn't be able to fight like this!

Someone slammed into me again, but this time I was ready. I threw the batarang straight at Wally's face. But I misread how close he was. It exploded straight in his eye.

"Wally!" My heart thudded loudly as he fell to the side, blood dripping from his face in waves. "No! I'm sorry! I'm so freaking sorry! Are you okay?" I shouted, helping into a sitting position. The fact that he could attack me completely erasing from my mind.

My blood ran cold. Did I... Just blind Wally for life? Did I seriously just blind my best friend for life?

"Oh god no..." I whispered as I pulled him over towards me. Half of his face was already covered in blood and despite the constant heavy rain, there was no end to the amount going down his face. I couldn't believe it. Why was everything going so wrong?! Was the universe out to get me? I don't understand it! Did I do something so wrong that my family and friends had to suffer for my actions?

"Ro-Robin...?" KF muttered. My eyes widened.

"KF?" I asked. Did the explosion stop the mind-control? Or was this just a trick?

"Ugh. Dude... What happened? My eye... It hurts so bad..." He groaned. My dread and guilt skyrocketed but at the same time, I was relieved.

"Wally... You broke free..." I muttered, tears pricking at my eyes and a sad smile covering my face.

"What...?" He muttered, before groaning again and using both hands to cover his eye.

"Do you remember anything? Anything abo-" I was suddenly cut off by a loud scream. I spun around to see an arrow sticking out of Cherry's leg. Ghost was speeding towards her, but was knocked out of air by Superboy.

"Cherry! Ghost!" I shouted. Cherry groaned and fell to her knees, pulling the arrow from her leg as vines grew from the ground and shielded both her and Ghost.

"What... What is this?" Wally asked, his face filling with horror.

"I take it you don't remember... The League was being mind-controlled, we went to save them, but we  failed. Remember? I was the only one who escaped while the rest of you ended up being mind-controlled as well. You guys and the league have been hunting me down and you just found us. You were trying to kill me just now..." I explained still looking at the two girls trying to push themselves up. I knew for a fact that Cherry had a more serious injury than just being stabbed by an arrow. The question is, what kind of arrow did Artemis use? What were the effects?

"We're what...? Rob, I'm so sorry..." KF muttered.

"Yeah. I am too." I stated, my head bowed and my hair creating a shadow over my face as I stood up. Without thinking, I was throwing Batarangs straight at Artemis who didn't see the attack coming. A shriek escaped her as she fell to the floor. They may have been my team, but they were trying to kill people I cared about. I wasn't about to just sit here and watch it happen.

"Dude! Why did you just do that?!" KF shouted behind me as I began walking towards the tree again.

"Why wouldn't I?" I asked, my face and voice emotionless.

"What?"

"They're trying to kill the people I care about. I've already lost Alfred to Batman, I'm not about to lose someone else as well." I stated, throwing more batarangs. I'd probably have to get the kryptonite I'd grabbed at the cave. It was a good thing I brought it too. I had to lose Superman somehow...

"What do you mean you've already lost Alfred to Batman?!" Wally shouted after me, although his voice was being drained out from the sound of the heavy rain.

"Batman killed Alfred." I stated before running straight over to help, not hearing Wally's reply. I dodged an arrow aimed for my neck, the tip just barely scratching my shoulder. I scowled and threw another batarang at Artemis before moving to the side to avoid Aqualad's (SALTWATER) hammer. Out of everyone here, Aqualad clearly had the advantage due to the rain. Meaning I would probably have to take care of him first. I ducked slightly, avoiding another swing of his water hammer. The (SALT)Water Bearers... I'd need to get rid of them and that should weaken him considerably.

I flipped over his swing, and flipped over his back. I almost lost my balance due to the slippery mud but I continued on. I kicked Aqualad in the back and he stumbled forward, in that time I knocked one of the water bearers out of his hand sending it flying to who knows where. Aqualad recovered quickly and spun around aiming his other (SALT)water bearer. Aqualad's face was emotionless as that too went flying over somewhere in the distance. I moved to the side again to avoid the punch at my face. I ducked and kicked Aqualad's feet from under him. I immediately jumped on him, throwing a sleeping pellet in his face and knocking him out cold. Before I could even do anything else a hand was around my throat and throwing me into the a tree.

I choked as I clawed at the hand holding me prisoner against the tree I was being crushed against. I looked tot he face of Superboy's emotionless face.

"Su... Supes... C'mon, you... Your strong...Ger then...This..." I spluttered. I got no reaction. Gritting my teeth, I reached for my belt for the krypontite currently residing there. I opened up the case and Superboy almost immediately fell to the floor, sinking slightly in the mud. This really was heavy rain...

I dropped a sleeping pellet in front of Superboy, knocking him out as well. Was it always this easy to take the team down? Or was it because they didn't even know what they were doing?

What a shame we all became such fragile broken things. 

I jumped forward, dodging the magic attack of Zatanna. An arrow whizzed past me. 

"Are you kidding me, Artemis?! Can you not just stay down?!" I shouted. I flipped in the air, dodging another two arrows and a spell. Wooh, go life! Zatanna charged towards me some sort of wind pushing her. Greaaaattt, another spell! An arrow came speeding towards me, without thinking I moved to the side letting it fly past, only for it to head straight towards Zatanna.

"Zatanna!" I shouted. She did nothing. The arrow went straight through her throat, and that was all it took before she fell to the ground, dead. (P.S I felt nothing writing this. I wanted to kill her off in the most painful way possible, but I'd rather just get her death over and done with.)

"ZATANNA!" I screamed, rushing over to her. "No, no, no! C'mon! Tell me this was just some sort of spell to trick me! C'mon!" I shouted, shaking her. But no matter what I did, she didn't wake up and no sort of spell activated. I had a lost another person. I had no more time to ponder is as Rocket came speeding towards me. I jumped up to avoid her bubble which wrapped around Zatanna.

Flipping back, I began my retreat. 

"Ghost! Cherry!" I shouted. "We need to retreat!" My head whipped back and forth as I desperately searched for them. Either the rain was too thick, or they had managed to move their fight somewhere else. I couldn't see Miss.M so I guessed they were fighting her elsewhere. Artemis had also disappeared somewhere... Great. A murderous archer is fighting two more of my frie-family. 

How fun.

The only one I had to deal with now was Rocket. I thought about whatever I knew about her. She still had Zatanna in the bubble and she couldn't do anything when she was holding the bubble. I grabbed some more explosives before throwing them at her. The pink bubble burst and I could no longer see Rocket flying. Was that it? Was it over? 

"Robin!" Someone shouted. I looked behind me to see KF.

"KF!" I called. "Are you okay?"

"Not gonna answer that." He said, still holding his eye as he walked up to me, limping slightly. He was most likely still injured from the fight against the league. So was everybody else, actually. 

Hello Guilt, you will never let me live properly, will you?

"Robin. You have a lot of explaining to do." KF stated. He took another step towards me, and I found myself flinching and jumping back. Why did I just do that? Was I really scared of Wally? Heck, was I really scared of my team? 

Yes. I was. My answer to my own question was immediate. Zatanna was dead. Artemis had killed her. I... Always thought of Zatanna as more then a bigger sister. Now shes dead. Along with those feelings. 

Along with the Robin they all once knew.

KF's eye widened.  "Rob?" He asked, studying me.

"KF, I..." I trailed off. What could I say to him? I'm scared that your about to kill me and I don't want to have to fight you? 

"Rob, are you... Scared of me?"
I said nothing.

"You are, aren't you?" He said, taking another step towards me. I took another step back.

"Look KF, I'm sorry, but..."

"How can you be scared of me?! I thought we were best friends!" KF shouted.

"Well we're not!" I shouted back without even thinking. My eyes widened.

"What?" Kid Flash whispered.

"We're not best friends. Not anymore. You... Your just like the League! You, the Team, the League... Your all the same! No matter how I look at all of you, all I can see is the League!"

"Rob, when did you start thinking like this?" 

"About a month ago. But that doesn't matter now, does it? Because the League lost. The team lost. You all lost..."

"Your wrong. We haven't lost! We-" Kid Flash started.

"Robin!" Someone called. I looked through the thick rain to see two figures carrying two more people.

"Are you okay?" Cherry asked me as Ghost put Miss Martian and Artemis on the floor.

"Fine. You two?"

"Little banged up, but we'll survive." Cherry replied. I nodded.

"Robin." Kid Flash stated. I turned to face him.

"Yeah?"

"We need to talk."

"I don't have time to talk. The League is still hunting me down and The Team won't stay down for long." I looked around to see the said unconscious team. I grit my teeth. If only I still had the things I needed to free them! Then I'd have more of a chance...

But life is just so cruel...

Kid Flash whizzed up to me and before I knew it, my hand had reached up, a fist connecting with his face and a batarang about to stab him in the chest.

"Dammit! Don't do that!" I shouted as he clutched his broken nose and bleeding eye. Blood was still everywhere...

"Look, we need to go. We can't stay here! The League will find us soon." I stated avoiding looking at him as guilt flooded me. All that blood hes losing? My fault.

His blood stains my hands, in the end.

"Look, Rob, I- LOOK OUT!" KF shouted before he pushed me to the side. I looked to the side as I fell to see Miss Martian holding a knife through Wally's heart.

"WALLY!" I screamed as I fell to the floor.

Updates will be more regular now that I have moved past my writers block. In fact, I have the next chapter all planned out! It's just a matter of typing it up. :P
