Simon Minter stood with all his friends, he was the leader of the group, the captain of the football team and the best player on the pitch. He was smart, and rich, and damn, was he attractive. any girl would be lucky to get their hands on Simon Minter.

"Simon, what're you doing?" He hears as he watches people pass by his group in the canteen.

He turns his head to the side, seeing Ethan.

"I'm just watching," Simon replies and Ethan nods.

Ethan was one of Simon's best friends- he made a lot of good jokes and Simon liked that, and he was pretty good at football.

"Hey, Simon, what're we doing tonight? Since it's friday? We going round yours since your parents are on a business trip bro?" JJ asks and Simon shrugs.

"If you wanna', don't really mind guys," He says and the boys all grin.

"Awesome, we'll get to yours for 7 year? So our parents can feed us dinner, innit?" Ethan laughs and the boys all laugh too- apart from Simon.

His eyes were following a particular person. Her hair rolled down her back in long brown waves, her eyes were the same shade and her lips were full and looked so kissable to the tall, blonde boy that was watching her, looking at her from head to toe. She had the white button up shirt on, her top button was undone and her tie was loose round her neck, she wore the dark blue and light blue plaid skirt, it was pulled up to sit above her knees, about mid-thigh and she had knee high socks which Simon adored. Simon eventually lifts his eyes from her long legs to her face again, catching a glimpse of it once more before she disappeared into the crowd.

"That's the girl who tried to kill herself," Says Ethan beside him and Simon shakes his head, waking up from his trance.

"She tried to kill herself? Why?" Simon asks and Ethan nods.

"Thats the thing, no one knows why, she just did," Says Ethan and Simon attempts to find her in the crowd, but he fails to do so.

"She's a nobody now, she used to be really popular, remember?" JJ says and Simon shrugs.

"She couldn't have been that popular," Says Simon and Harry rolls his eyes.

"She was nicknamed the Golden Girl?" Harry says and Simon's eyes flicker with recognition.

"Oh...That was Margo Frasier?" Simon asks and Harry nods.

"She was on the news and everything," Vik says and Simon nods.

"She's famous because she tried to kill herself, and now she gets called a freak," Cal says and Simon frowns, looking at the slightly taller male.

"She's really beautiful, its quite tragic actually," Simon comments and Harry grabs his shoulder.

"Even if she's classed as a freak, she's way out of your league dude," Harry says as his girlfriend approaches.

"Hey baby," Katie says and the boys all give Katie a smile when Harry takes her hand and they head off to their English lesson together.

Simon now had a history lesson, which he liked enough to at least pay some attention.

He had the lesson with JJ, so he headed off with him.

Once they arrive at the lesson Simon finds himself staring at the girl he just saw in the canteen. He wanted to speak to her but he had no idea what to even say to a girl who had tried to kill herself a month ago.

He walks forwards to speak to her but she steps inside the classroom, leaving behind the tall, blonde boy.

He breathes in deeply, he had to speak to her.

He follows into the classroom, eager to see her.

She was beautiful, and she radiated happiness, but Simon was the only one seeing she was still not happy.

She sits down two rows from the back and unloads her books from her leather backpack.

Simon sees the seat beside her is free.

"Come to the back, Simon," JJ says as he passes by Simon.

Simon looks at his friend and then shakes his head, "I'll sit with you next time bro,"

JJ looks over his shoulder, confused.

Simon finally moves forwards, walking to Margo's desk. She was looking at her phone that was placed on the desk. A small smile on her lips as she reads a text message from her best friend- Summer.

"Do you mind if I sit here?" Simon asks and she blinks in confusion, looking up at the boy.

"Urm, no?" She says, its more a question that a statement.

"Cool," Simon says, pulling out the stool and sitting down, he looks over at JJ who sits with a confused look plastered on his face.

Simon winks at him and JJ looks even more confused.

Simon turns back round and sees Margo putting her phone away.

"So you're Margo Frasier?" Simon asks and Margo nods.

"If you're here to ask about why I tried to kill myself, I suggest you move over to your friend, Olajide," She says and Simon shakes his head.

"No, I'm not here to ask about that," He says, he was half lying, he did want to know why, but that wasn't his only reason for being here.

"Okay, then you can stay," She says and she puts away her phone as the teacher arrives to the lesson.

Mr Hughes was a rather nice man, and he enjoyed teaching- he was laid back, but he also had a tough side.

Mr Hughes hands out some work about Nazi occupied Germany and tells everyone to get on with it before taking a seat at his desk.

"Don't you think that this is boring?" Simon asks, seeing that Margo is speeding through the worksheet.

"No, history is my favourite lesson," She replies swiftly, still writing out answers.

"Oh, whats your least favourite?" He asks and she chuckles.

"Geography, or maths," She says and Simon smiles.

"I hate geography too," Simon comments and Margo nods.

"We're quite similar, huh, Minter?" She asks and he smiles.

She knew his name.

She gives Simon a soft smile in return and then looks back at her worksheet.

"I guess we are," Simon says, "Do you think we could be friends?"

"I don't have friends anymore," She shrugs and Simon smiles.

"Well, I'll be your friend?" He offers and she sighs.

"Hm, maybe, you're friends with Ethan Payne right?" Margo questions.

"Yeah, he's one of my best friends," Simon replies.

"Nice," She says, inside she had a plan made- she would be friends with Simon, to get Summer close to Ethan.

"So, are we friends?" Simon asks and Margo nods.

"We're friends,"
