Simon Minter kicked the ball into the back of the net, earning cheers from the stands of the school football pitch. That was the final goal of the game. After that the team join together in the middle of the pitch and they all chat for a moment before they all head down to the locker room.

Simon changes out of his kit, having a fast shower before changing back into his uniform. He wears his tie loosely, going against the school rules, he wore trainers not school shoes, and his shirt was messily untucked from his trousers, his sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He was rich, attractive and smart- he got away with things.

He grabs his backpack and follows his friends out of the changing rooms. He was having a part tonight and he'd invited all his friends, and their friends and even people he didn't know. He hoped Margo would show up.

He looks at the stands of the football pitch, seeing Margo sitting their still, even after everyone else had left.

"I'll catch up to you," Simon says to his friends, most of them roll their eyes or just nod, watching their friend jog over to the girl who tried to kill herself.

Margo Frasier had sat alone through the whole match- Summer was busy. Margo looks up at Simon when he approaches and he smiles down at her.

"Hey Margo," He says and she gives him a small smile.

"Hey Simon," She replies and he looks round at the empty stands.

"On your own?" He asks and she nods.

"Summer was busy," She says and he sighs.

"Well, I don't know if you're up for it or whatever, but I'm having a party at mine tonight, fancy coming?" Simon asks, the hope evident in his voice, he really wanted to spend time with her.

"I'll see what I can do," She says, giving him a soft smile as she begins to stand up.

"Well, I'll see you later then," He says and she nods.

"I'll see you later, Minter," She smiles and he can't help but beam a goofy grin at her.

He turns round, jogging to catch up with his friends.

Cal and Ethan greet their smiling friend.

"What's got you so happy?" Ethan asks and Simon just shrugs.

"He's finally getting some pussy," Cal interjects and Ethan laughs.

"I heard pussy?" JJ calls over his shoulder from about 3 metres ahead.

"Pussy? Where? Who's getting some?" Josh asks, turning round.

"Fuck off, Josh," Ethan giggles and Vik rolls his eyes.

"You lot are fucking stupid," Vik says and Harry runs round to Vik, picking the shorter boy up into his arms.

"HARRY!" Vik screams, his voice breaking.

Their laughs fill the air, the group of best friends making their way to their houses.

"I'll see you bunch of cunts later then," JJ says, walking closely to Simon, he and Simon lived in the same area.

"Bye twats," Josh calls, throwing a middle finger to his two friends walking in the opposite direction.

The boys share some more laughter before they head off in their separate directions.

JJ and Simon walk in comfortable silence for a few moments before JJ turns to the slightly taller boy.

"So the Sunshine girl huh?" JJ asks and Simon laughs.

"Is that what you call her?" Simon replies with a question.

"Yeah, everyone does...Or at least they did, before you know...She tried to kill herself," JJ says and Simon nods, "Or they called her the Golden girl,"

"She's gorgeous," Simon admits and JJ nods.

"She is, to be honest," He tells his friend and Simon nods.

"She's gorgeous in more ways than one, I invited her tonight," Simon tells JJ, who listens intently.

"That's great man, just be careful, she's fragile, and fragile things can be easily broken," JJ says and Simon nods.

"I will man, anyway, I best head home and get ready for tonight," Simon replies and JJ nods.

"See you in a bit mate," JJ says, heading off down the street while Simon crosses the road to go to his house.

By the time Margo arrived the party was already in full swing. She was late by about an hour, but at least she was there.

She immediately wanted to leave, she walked past people who called her a freak and a slut and what not. She made her way into the living room, her head hung low so her hair fell in her face. She was attempting to locate the boy who invited her, but he was nowhere to be seen.

Suddenly a hand makes its way onto her shoulder.

"If you're looking for Minter he's on the roof," It was JJ.

"Oh..." Margo mumbles.

"Upstairs, turn right, all the way to the end, the room that has Simon written on the door," JJ says and Margo nods.

"Thank you," Margo whispers shyly.

She turns swiftly on her heel and heads for the stairs. She reaches the landing, making a right. She travels to the end and sees the door with SIMON wrote on it in bold, black letters.

She knocks, waiting for some kind of reply- there isn't one. Her hand rests on the door knob for a moment, unsure of what to do. JJ could have set her up for a horrible prank.

What was the worst that could happen? Actually a lot of things. She could find a prank, a naked Simon or something she hadn't thought of- or maybe Simon was genuinely not in his room, and didn't answer because he's not there,

She sighs, twisting the door knob, "Simon?"

"I'm on the roof!" She hears him call.

She breathes in, opening the door swiftly, examining the bedroom.

A untidy bedroom, clothes littered the floor. She steps over a pair of football boots, closing the door behind her.

She sees a wall of photos- Simon and all his friends, Simon and his brothers, Simon and his parents, photos of just Simon.

She lifts her hand, running her fingers over a particular photograph.

Her fingers rest on the photograph for a moment. He was happy. She had no idea why this particular photo had caused her to linger there, but it did. The sight of him being happy made something change within her eyes, her fingers moved away from the photographed and she mentally thanked whoever took it.

She turned round, seeing football trophies resting on some shelves, a xbox one, playstation 4 and a computer set up in one corner posters of footballers like Ronaldo and Bale sat on the walls. He seemed to be proud of his footballing medals, hanging them on the wall like Olympic medals.

She makes her way to the window. She looks down and sees Simon sitting with his legs over the edge of the roof, he was swinging them back and forth, humming to music playing from his phone.

She climbs out of the window and slowly walks to the edge, sitting down beside Simon.

"Hey Simon," She whispers and he turns to look at her.

"Hey Margo," He replies, smiling.

They look into each others eyes for a moment, both of them staring at empty souls.

Margo looks away first, scared he was seeing too much of her.

"Why're you out here?" Margo asks and Simon does one thing, he points upwards.

Her eyes follow to where he's pointing and she immediately smiles at the glorious view of the stars.

"Wow," She whispers and Simon nods.

"I know right?" He says and she rests her head on his shoulder.

"Thank you, Simon," She says and he nods.

"Thank you, Margo," He says and he rests his head on hers.

They both move closer, Simon's arm wraps round her shoulders, her hands resting in her lap.

"Its beautiful," Margo says looking at the sky, lifting her head as Simon does.

Simon looks at her, as she watches the stars, "you have no idea,"
