I tried to get up and exit the room as quickly and quietly as possible. The door creaked when I closed it.

If I had a dollar for every time I didn't obey my doctor I would be rich. I was told to use my crutches. But I just wanted a beer and to watch some show by myself.

As much as I adore and love my husband with all my heart. Sometimes a man just wants a beer and to watch some random sports game on tv.

Yeah I was being ridiculous, but Ryan kept me in bed whenever I was told to use my crutches. Can you blame me for wanting to be a little rebel.

But of corse as I walked out into the hall. (Keep in mind I had to wiggle myself free from Ryans arm to get up) My leg gave out and I tripped onto the hard wood floor.

"Ah!" I screamed as I landed on the floor. The door of our bedroom only mer seconds later flung open and a frantic looking Ryan ran out to my side.

"Baby? What happened? What are you doing out here?" Ryan asked lifting me up slightly and hugging me placing one of his hand o the side of my head.

"I'm fine babe, I-" I cut myself off thinking of what would happen if Ryan knew why I was getting up.

"Why are you up? And without your crutches, Bren?" Ryan asked.

"I was uh, going to the bathroom?" It sounded more like a question.

"Where you?" Ryan asked raising an eyebrow.

"Um, would be mad if I was going to have a beer and watch some movie?" I asked closing one of my eyes and looking up at him.

"No, I wouldn't. I mad that you didn't use your crutches. I'll bring you down and we can both have a beer. And watch a movie, like-"

"White chicks!" I yelled and Ryan placed a finger to my lips 'shh'ing me with a low chuckle.

"Ok then baby, let's go." Ryan said helping me up and I tried to walk but Ryan panicked hitting my leg up so I limped. I sighed and rolled my eyes and Ryan smiled as he won.

Ryan curled into my side with a beer clutched in his hand as we watched White Chicks. I smiled and rested my head on top of Ryans.
