Ryan placed the last piece of laundry away and turned to look at me. I had dressed Clay up in a red dinosaur costume I had acquired at a goodwill. Ryan smiled and shook his head. I flipped up the control center on my phone and connected my phone to the house speakers. I hit play on Boy Division. Clay started dancing and Ryan pulled out his camera.

"Daddy lookkk!!" Clay said as he did a bob up and down. I smiled and got up from the floor and went and joined Clay. I started dancing and spun him in a circle.

Clay giggled as Ryan recorded me dancing with him. I picked him up and held him above my head. I let him move his arms in a wing motion before hugging him.

"You know I love you." I said bopping his nose. He giggled and kissed my cheek. Ryan came over and sat down and Clay waddled over to him.

"Love you!" Clay said swinging his arms around Ryans neck. I smiled and looked at Ryan. Clay sat down and looked at us.

"Ryan?" I asked and he turned to look at me.

"Yeah Bren?" Ryan scooted closer to me placing a hand on my thigh.

"I don't think I've told you enough how much I really do appreciate you." I looked down, I was ashamed that we had been fighting.

"Even when you don't, I know you do. And you tell me too much. And you know what, I think you deserve something special."

Ryan placed his hands over my eyes as we walked upstairs.

"Don't look yet." Ryan let go and I squeezed my eyes closed. "Ok look! Ta Dah!"

I saw our bathroom covered in roses and candles. The lights where turned off and there was a glass of red wine by the edge of the bathtub. The water in the bath was purple and there was soft classical music playing.

"Oh my god Ry!" I covered my mouth and Ryan smiled.

"It's great huh?"

"Oh don't get to full of yourself." I punched his arm and he smiled.

"How about you get in." Ryan said smiling. He turned around and opened the door.

"You're leaving?"

"Yeah, this is your time." And with that Ryan closed the door. I got into the bathtub and felt the warm water run over my body. It was nice.
