To Exillium We Go

"So you're the ones who are going to Exillium?"

"Yeah," Kolaki said, holding her head up high. "The ones who are supposedly bad enough that we belong in Exillium!"

The elf grinned. "You're enthusiastic. I believe that one of the more extreme spheres will do you plenty of good. But - " She handed each of us a packet, a thick one. " - you'll still need to double-check with this packet!"

Teno groaned. "Does being in here require having an ability?"

She smiled. "No, not at all, my boy. You may manifest in the period of time that you're at Exillium: that just means we'll have to add to your badges. For now, please tell me if you have an ability, and if so, tell me what ability."

Kolaki shoved me forward, which caused me to stutter, "Uh, I-I'm a Guster, manifested yesterday!"

The elf smiled. "Ok. Here's a Guster pin," which at that point and time she revealed a pin with a tree being swayed by the wind on it. The colors were a cooler scheme, and the wind was really the only thing that stood out on the badge, the "wind" being jagged lines of silver across the pin. She then handed it to me.

"Here you go! And - " She turned to Kolaki and Teno. " - are you two talentless?"

"For now," Teno said, covering Kolaki, who was now starting to cry. As I hugged her, he continued, "People are manifesting younger than ever before! And more people are manifesting in the cooler abilities! So who knows what we'll get?"

The elf smiled. "Encouraging. We'll see which sphere will do you the most good when you finish your packets! Start whenever you're ready."

*30 minutes later*

As I was reading Question Number 30, we were interrupted of our packet-filling with a girl bursting through the door.

She was moderately pretty, with icy blue eyes and short, curly, lemon yellowey hair. Her hands sparkled with electricity as she turned to the elf and said, "We have an unexpected visitor for the teal-haired girl."

"Great!" the other elf said. "Send her right in!"

She turned around, while the other one ran to the doors and opened them to reveal . . .

"OLA???!!"

She was panting as she glared at me with her silver eyes. "Yeah, that's right. What the HECK are you doing here???!"

"I was sent here by my parents!" I yelled back, causing Kolaki to glare at me and mouth, Didn't we talk about self-control?

"Well, DON'T DO ANYTHING THAT GETS YOU IN TROUBLE THEN!!!!" she screamed back.

"Would you guys QUIET???!!!!" Kolaki yelled, and all of a sudden, I could feel me slapping myself, as well as Ola. And it wasn't a gentle slap either. I swear I could feel my jaw break . . .

"What the %(*@ was THAT?!" Ola yelled at a stunned Kolaki, but instantly, Ola tripped and flailed once she landed, then did a weird wave-like dance with her whole body on the floor.

"Enough!" the lemon-yellow haired girl shouted, thrusting forward her hands, which in turn, sparked electricity everywhere, shocking us all. Literally.

The older elf then stood up and looked toward Kolaki. "Get ready for being in front of an audience."

"Why?" she asked, looking really confused.

The elf sighed. "You really don't know what happened, do you?"

"No," Kolaki responded.

"Well, I'll explain. Torika - " she turned to the lemon-yellow haired girl, who I then assumed was Torika. " - get all of Exillium gathered together. Kolaki Dizznee, you have just manifested as a Mesmer."
