Waiting
Very early in Ponyville, a single window opened. Out of it popped a green pony. "Good morning, Ponyville" he shouted. "Would you tone it down, Sandbar? If you just want to shout you can do it in the garden!" a voice from inside the house said. Sandbar groaned. He loved his family but he's feeling a bit cranky after Friendship School.
He felt like it was the last time he would see his friends.
He walked down to the garden and started watering the plants. When he was done, he sat down and stared at the water inside their little pond. I wonder what the others are doing
he thought...
Not far away, a changeling was just waking up. She examined herself. Pastel red mane, light blue hide... she was still pretty much the same changeling as she was before, but not the same.
She felt torn after she had to be separated from her friends. It's okay, Ocellus. Your family needs you... she thought.
She then let her mind drift off to some other places. She ended up thinking of the dragon lands. She wondered what was brewing there.
Something was brewing in the dragon lands. A dragon with red and purple scales was stirring a cauldron with lots of different gems for her breakfast. "Mmm" she said, feeling hungry.
She sighed. She missed those mornings where she could eat something else with her friends. "It could be worse, right?" she said to herself "Come on, Smolder! At least you don't have to live in Yakyakistan. Is there even food there?"
Her shoulders drooped. She missed her old friend who lived there. She gazed longingly at the north...
At the freezing Yakyakistan, a yak was already up and running. She was tasked by her dad to look for the perfect smashing log.
She walked over to a freezing lake. She studied her braided hair, tended carefully by two races, yaks and ponies. She would never forget about the white unicorn with an elegant violet mane who tied her braids in bows so that she wouldn't stop tripping over everything.
"Yona would give anything to see Profesor Rarity and the other professors as well as Yona's friends again!" she yelled out, frustrated.
She stared at the frozen water in the lake. She was again reminded of one of her friends who lived in melted water.
At Mount Aris, a pink hippogriff with a blue mane sketched calmly. For a moment, she didn't know what to sketch. She stared out at the sea, thinking of all the places beyond it. She was then reminded of Griffinstone, the place where her favorite friend lived.
She knew she shouldn't be biased, but she felt more comfortable with him than with any of her friends. She recalled how each of them looked like and started sketching them.
Tears started to well up in her eyes. "It's okay, Silverstream" she whispered softly to herself "You'll reunite with them eventually..."
She stopped sketching. She stared off to the direction of Griffonstone. I really miss Gallus. I hope he's doing okay... she thought.
From across the sea, in the land of Griffonstone, a blue griffin was eager to start the day... well, not really eager. He was eager to get it over with.
He sighed. It must have only been the third day since his separation with his friends but it seemed like forever.
"Gallus!" a voice called out. Gallus snapped out of his fantasy. He walked to a house in the middle of Griffinstone. It was the best-looking house, but it didn't look all good. He entered the house. "What is it, Grandpa Gruff?" he asked. "Don't try escaping Griffinstone. You deserve much better than having those other creatures as company" Grandpa Gruff said "Especially that hippogriff"
Gallus's eyes widened. His mouth gasped in shocked. Rage soon followed. "Don't you dare say anything bad about Silverstream!" he shouted.
"Stop thinking of that hippogriff and deliver this to Gilda" Grandpa Gruff handed a letter to Gallus. He took it and flew off, still enraged about what Grandpa Gruff said about Silverstream.
Gallus was frustrated. He spent the days in Griffonstone, counting down for the next semester of the School of Friendship to begin. He groaned.
"This isn't going anywhere!" he complained. He went out of his house and to the entrance/exit of Griffonstone.
"I'm sorry, Grandpa Gruff, but I can't wait any longer" Gallus said, then he flew off, heading towards the Everfree Forest, but before anygriff from Griffonstone, somegriff called out to him.
"Why in the world would you like those other creatures? You're annoying! Never come back here, ya hear?" he heard Grandpagruff said. Gallus scoffed.
He arrived at the Treehouse of Harmony.
"If my friends have the same fate as I do, then they'll find themselves here" Gallus said.
Silverstream! Come eat! You haven't eaten in the past few weeks!" someone yelled "Silverstream!"
Knock! Knock! Knock! Silverstream groaned. "Go away, dad!" she shouted. She waited until the knocking stopped. She sighed.
"Just be patient, Silverstream" she told herself "The next semester of the School of Friendship would start soon"
The truth was, Silverstream's been waiting for weeks but the next semester isn't going to begin until the next two months. She sighed. She was growing depressed as the days went on. She stopped eating her meals.
"That's it" she sighed "I'm heading to the Treehouse of Friendship. No doubt my friends would be waiting for me there"
When she was flying away, her dad saw her and flew after her.
"Stop!" he yelled.
"No, you stop! You never have time for me! I'm going to my friends! I'm never going home!" Silverstream shouted back, tears in her eyes. Her father stopped chasing after her.
"I'm sorry, sweetie" he whispered, but the skies in front of him were already clear.
High up in the mountains near the Crystal Empire was Yakyakistan, where Yona was smashing a lot of things.
She was furious at waiting for the next semester at the School of Friendship to begin, so she took her anger on smashing, but today, the smashing didn't seem hearty enough.
"'Yak must be patient. If yak not patient, then yak better off not being a yak'" Yona mimicked her father's voice in a somewhat mocking tone.
"Yak can't take it anymore!" she burst out loud "Yak going to the Treehouse of Friendship to see friends!"
Meanwhile, in the Dragonlands, something was brewing. Anger.
"Look, Smolder if you want to visit your friends, then do it!" Ember said "You're a pain in the tail for all of us here, ya know that?"
Smolder groaned. "Fine" she huffed.
That was how Smolder was headed for the Treehouse of Friendship as well.
Back at the Changeling Kingdom, Ocellus was debating with herself.
I have to wait. Changelings are patient.
Yeah, but you're different.
Ocellus sighed. She didn't want to go to the Everfree Forest but it looked like she had to.
Sandbar himself decided to go to the Treehouse of Harmony.
Once he entered, he was surprised to see his friends.
"We couldn't wait!" they exclaimed, then pulled Sandbar into a group hug.
"Neither could I" Sandbar replied "The Treehouse of Friendship will be the treehouse of our memories"

Sorry! This was so short. I honestly wanted this to be a short story so... Honestly, I do need help. This will be "completed" but I'll update this as often as I can to make the story seem fuller.
