                  (Your P.O.V)

Peering out the window on the bus, my earbuds gently played 'See You Again'.
Raindrops gently fell against the window and roads of blurred cars passed by my vision.
As usual I was the last person on the bus and it was late.
There was nothing more calming than a quiet bus ride home from work.
Yes I lived long ways from where I worked but it was  worth it when pay day came.
Suddenly the bus made an unexpected turn down a dirt road with  nothing by grassy fields.
Slightly curious I tried to see if my bus driver, Mr.Ronald's, had a new route.
I guess right because near a rusted bus sign one person stood there.
It was hard to tell who it was from the rain but the bus stopped in front of the person with a hiss and opened it's doors.
With heavy steps a man walked on the bus, he was in a black tux with a pikachu skull mask and wore white gloves with a bright red tie.
Don't see that every day...
The man walked down the bus isle and sat across from me and placed his hands in his lap, gentle-man style.
I smiled at him politely and turned up my music and continued peering out the window as Mr.Ronalds started up the bus and made a U turn back for the main road.
The rain started to come down harder the more we drove and the sky became darker making me worry about the river that was not far from where I lived.
Strangely my attention changed from the river to the corner of my eye.
The guy that was sitting across from me was staring dead at me through the mask.
Trying not to make eye contact I pulled out my phone from my hoodie pocket and changed the song to 'Don't Forget The Sun' by Get scared.
Suddenly a deep British voice rang through my ear buds.
I took out my right ear bud and the guy was singing along but was staring ahead.
Completely baffled I checked the volume on my earbud, it wasn't that loud there was no way he could hear it.
Cautiously I placed the earbud back in my ear right when I turned toward the window I felt my hairs on my neck stand on my back and I turned back to see the man sitting next to me and staring at me.
I ripped out my earbuds with wide eyes.
"Whoa...you scared me." I chuckled nervously.
"I can do better than that....want to hear a story?" He voice smoothed its way through my ears and down my spine.
"Um...I have nothing better to do...sure." I forced a smile searching his eyes, they were just drilling into mine.
The man turned back to the front of bus and placed his hands back in his lap.
"On a night just like this, the rain was drilling into the ground the sound was pericing along with the clashes of thunder."
As he said that, thunder roared in the atmosphere making me jump out of my skin.
"The Lightning joined in unison, and like a graceful ballerina, it danced through the sky to the beat of the thunder."
The bus hit a bump in the road and lightning made a light show as it flashed across the sky.
"A young girl...with (E/c)'s and (h/c) haired rested her mind on a broken down bus patiently waiting to go home."
I looked back at the man...knowing he was talking about me.
"The bus came to an abrupt stop in a meadow..a man dressed in a tux walked on the bus....and out of curiosity he sat next to her."
Now curious I positioned myself like a little kid would, completely intrigued.
"But they sat in silence...all the way home...well to the girls home anyway. When the girl came to her stop she got off...and the man followed."
My chest tightened as I held my breath.
"What happened next..well...that's child's play...and you'd wouldn't want me to give that away."
He turned to me, a evil smile stretched across his face.
I glanced out of the window for a split second and notice I was almost to my stop, when I looked back at the man, he was in his original seat facing forward.
My heart was pounding out of my chest...what was he going to do? Why???
who was this man anyway?
The bus came to a slow stop with a hiss and opened it's doors for me.
I glanced back at the man, he just stared forward.
I cautiously got up and walked down the isle looking back at the man everynow and then.
  He just sat there.
When I got to the door I looked at Mr.Ronald.
"See you tomorrow (y/n), you besafe now..it's raining cats and dogs out there." He smiled his normal old man smile and adjusted his glasses.
"Thank you Mr.Ronald, you too." I gave one last glance at the man in the tux and pulled my hood on my head before exiting the bus into the pouring rain.
I placed my earbuds back in my ears and walked forward down a dirt road toward my house.
The bus left with hiss and vanished within the rain.
My mind was racing about the man in the tux until I felt a cold feeling on my neck.
I turned around to see the man standing at my stop while I was already 10 steps away from it.
I ripped out my earbuds again.
"W-what the..." I took a step back burying my foot in the mud behind me.
The man placed his hands in his pockets and walked toward me while I took steps back.
Lightning crashed again making me jump and right then the man was only inches from me making me scream.
He covered my mouth abruptly stopping my scream.
I stared at him in horror as his other hand gripped him hoodie and pulled me close.
"Now (y/n)....I'll finish our story......" He cleared his throat before beginning to speak again.
"The man took the girls hand.."
He removed his hand from my hoodie and gently placed his white gloved hand in mine.
"And walked her home...only one thing the girl didn't know.."
He removed his hand from my mouth and gently guided me home.
"Was that..tonight was different..she thought she was normal..but she wasn't, she had a spark not even she knew about and that's why the man was there. To show her and guide her through her not so normal life."
He stared forward, the rain completely  soaked him from head to toe but he had a walk of not giving a crap.
We walked in silence for a little while before he stopped.
  "Then..he stopped..and gave something a thought..."
He turned around and faced me a steady smile from his lips lurked there.
"He turned to her...and just stared knowing that...if he continued...things would never be the same between them."
I searched his eyes through his mask for an answer but found nothing.
"So her pulled her close to where they were only inches apart taking the risk.."
With a heart beat speeding faster than it should I keep pushing to look for any answer.
"And..he..." His lip quivered and his breath sharp in the rain, raindrops slivered down his yellow mask and my hair slipped in front of my face.
He didn't miss a beat and gently took a soaked white gloved hand and moved it from my face.
He moved closer to my face and laced his fingers with mine he pressing his lips to mine.
My eyes didn't widen..because I knew this feeling.
I felt it before but I didn't feel whole this time.
The kiss was soft, sweet, gentle and so very familiar.
  I wanted to kiss back...I didn't
But the kiss began to fade as a tear slipped from my eye but I closed them tightly.
The feeling of laced fingers faded away  and I could feel nothing but heart ache and cold rain.
I opened my eyes to see the man not there anymore just nothing but a road ahead of me.
I clutched myself and let the tears fall as I continued to walk home still hearing the man's voice.
"He wanted to show her the world..for what it really was..what it could really be...how it really was...but he wanted her know more than that.."

I entered my home door, the house felt empty...
"He wanted her to know how he felt..he wanted her to know that even in the darkest times..there is still light...even in the most scariest of stories...there's a soft and gentle tale between the lines..."
I looked around the house and walked to my room but just stood in the doorway.
There was the man and the girl smiling as he told her a bedtime story for the night.
Afterwards he kissed her goodnight, as he got up from the kiss the man began to fade and so did the girl.
I could feel my heart sink even deeper and tears coming in rivers.
Walked over to the bed and belly flopped burying my head in the pillow.

"I love you (y/n)...I feel like I could tell our story for generations..." A soft familiar voice seeped into my ears.

"Really?" I whispered through the tears.

"Yes..."

"Then why aren't you here? Why did you leave me alone..."

"I'm sorry (y/n)...every story has an ending....even the story teller has an end."

"What happened to the never ending story..." I choked gritting my teeth.

"(Y/n)..."

"NO! STOP HAUNTING ME! I CAN'T TAKE THE PAIN! I WANT TO MOVE ON..." I screamed into the pillow crying harder.

The echoes of a car swerving and crashing haunted my mind.

"LET ME SLEEP." I screamed gripping the pillow that was now soaked.
With that I felt a hallow hug on my back making me cry harder but I resisted turning around...because everytime I do..he's not there.

"Because of you..I'm here forever..doing the same thing over and over.....I can't even sleep with out you...........I haven't slept in two years...please..let me sleep....please....one more story so I can sleep..."

"Once upon time...." A deep voice spoke.
