If I close my tired, old eyes

I can see in my mind

all the things I went through...

Some good, some bad,

some marvellous, some frightful

images of dark and light...

But among all of these things

there's a special face in my heart,

there's a special voice in my ears,

and I still remember it in my dreams...

Many ages have passed

but I'm still here,

wiser and stronger than I was before

'cause I knew what it means

to lose someone I called "friend"

and to feel a painful hole in my soul...

I'm still living here in this world

'cause I'm son of earth, wind and sky,

I cannot lose what I am

and I also cannot lose you...

I will never forget you,

it's impossible for me to forget,

'cause you are my friend,

yes you are my best friend,

the reason of what I am

and I know you will raise again...

So I hope to see you soon

even if another season has just passed,
