Your POV

As soon as I heard the door close, I tensed up in fear. I don't know why, but whenever I hear a door shut behind me, I instantly freak out. The captain then appeared next to me, putting his hand lightly on my shoulder," Relax, lad. No need to be so tense." He said, with a sweet smile on his face.

Oh how I love that smile of his.

You know about the rumors, right? About the girl being on the ship?

Well those are true, I am that girl, my name is not (Fake Name) my real name is (Y/n) (L/n), and I am a runaway. I ran away from home and got a job on this ship. I had to hide myself as a boy, and it had been working out ever since!

"Have you heard the rumors spreading around my ship?" He asked me.

Shit.

"Of course I have, but I can't imagine why a girl would want to come aboard a pirate ship. Do you think the rumors could be true, Captain?" I asked, keeping my voice low.

He nodded," I do, but that is not the only reason why I brought you in here." He then pointed my hat," I would also like to discuss your attire..."

My what?

"My attire? Why do we need to discuss that?" I asked, trying not to look anxious.

"Because it's mostly about your hat, and it annoys me...... A lot. Why won't you take it off? Same goes for your shirt when it's hot out, everyone else does except for you and it confuses me." He said, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Oh, that? Well I don't take my hat off, because....." I thought for a second," Because I do not wish for someone to steal it, because this is my favorite hat. As for the shirt, I just don't feel very comfortable with having it off in front of everyone." I said and gave him a quick smile.

He nodded again," Alright, but..." He quickly leaned forward, taking my chin in between his fingers, examining my face," Now that I think about it, you do show a lot of feminine features, are you sure you're not the girl these rumors are about?" He asked, raising one of his thick eyebrows at me.

I quickly nodded," O-of course, captain! Why would I lie to you?" I said, laughing nervously.

He shrugged," I don't know, why don't you tell me yourself, girl." He frowned and flicked my hat off of my head, letting my (h/l)(h/c) fall out. I gasped," H-how did you know?" I asked, not bothering to hide my actual voice from him.

"Well, first off, your nervousness made you a dead give away, plus I would have taken your hat off anyway." He said, still frowning," What is your real name?"

"It's (Y/n)(L/n), captain..." I mumbled, crossing my arms, staring at the floor boards.

He sighed," Well, (Y/n) you can call me Arthur from now on. Also I will allow you to stay on the ship, but," he then pinned me against a wall, leaning by my ear,"Do not think you will go unpunished for this, you just won't know when it will happen, so keep your eyes opened, got it?" He growled, his hot breath making me shiver.

Not able to form words, I quickly nod and he releases me and steps back," Good, now, I suppose I can let you keep your hat, just to keep your true identity hidden from the others. I don't need my crew harassing you." He mumbled.

I nodded again and bent down, picking up my hat, neatly putting it back on my head after putting all of my hair back in it. When I stood back up, I looked at Arthur, and to my surprise, his face was bright red," Capt-I mean Arthur, is something wrong?" I asked.

"Uh, it's nothing, you can go now..." He mumbled, averting his eyes from yours.

You were tempted to ask more questions, but quickly pushed them aside and turned around, opening the doors and walking out.

You instantly went back to your chores, acting as if nothing had happened, but Arthur was still circling in your head, why was his face so red when you put your hat back on? Then is hit you, making your face go bright red this time

He was staring at your ass the whole time.
