The, sort of, Jet

As I turned, a woman wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase gripped my hand. Unlike everybody else in the whole of Vegas, she actually looked formal or as if she was on her way to a meeting. She had faded brown hair straggled back into a low ponytail. Behind her, Bianca was rolling her eyes. Being the over-protective brother I am, I noticed that Bianca had dark shadows under eyes as if she had got no sleep in days or even weeks –I had lost track of time-.

I thought Bianca was in the Casino Arcade playing games!

"Look, kid, we don't have time to explain so just follow me. Whether you like it or not." She explained as if annoyed at me. "Luckily, your sister here was obedient."

Once again, Bianca rolled her eyes. Even though I didn't trust the lawyer woman I trusted Bianca so I nodded my head and followed a stranger through one of the biggest cities in the world. I know what you're thinking: Oh my god, Nico! You are so stupid. Trust me I know but Bianca is usually right in these situations. Even though I was highly curious and wanted to ask many questions, I bowed my head and avoided eye contact with the lady. Within a few minutes we were just outside of Vegas in a weird, unnatural clearing. She took us towards a... is that a jet? Well, when I say jet I mean a vehicle that can fly not a first-class plane. To be honest, it looked like a big pile of scrap metal with wings. At the steps to the junk-style aircraft, stood two boys carrying first aid kits. They looked a few years older than me so around Bianca's age. The woman looked at Bianca and me with a stern look on her face; if I saw her in the street I would probably walk in the opposite direction and have no shame. The woman looked at me and Bianca and waved to us.

"Bianca, Nico this will be where we depart. This is Michael Yew and this is Will Solace and they will escort you to camp –long story-. For now, they will be checking your health condition. Farewell." Then she left leaving Bianca and me (yet again) with a bunch of strangers. God, I'm such a good example.
