Nico's POV:
You Were My Light

As soon as I opened my eyes, I notice that Bianca's not in the room then I start to panic. Where could she have gone? Just as I grab my hoodie, by the bedside table, I see a note sellotaped to the desk. Relieved, I snatched the note and began to read:

To Nico,
Please don't worry. I left this note to tell you that I'm going to the casino to play in the awesome arcade! I'll meet you in the room some time tomorrow. Love you, bro!

At least she was ok but now I had about 4 hours and nothing to do. Wait, what am I thinking? I'm in Las Vegas in the Lotus Casino. Even though I don't remember that much I can recall some memories. My memory seems to be getting worse by the minute; I decide to write on a piece of paper everything –mostly- that I can recollect. It read:

I'm Nico Di Angelo

I'm 16 years old

My sister is Bianca

I can't remember my family

I have ADHD and dyslexia

And I like Mythomagic

This way if my memories went corrupt I could read this list and hopefully it will help me. Kneeling on the floor, I pick up my black hoodie and pull it over my head. I presume it looks fine because I can't be bothered to look in the mirror. Considering that I had a whole four hours to myself, I got in the lift down to the casino. In the corner of my eye, I see that the queue for the bar is only consisting of like six people. Therefore, I get in the queue behind this guy in disco pants and an afro, he seems like he thinks he looks cool but he clearly doesn't.                                                                                              "Excuse me, sir, do you want a drink? Beer, maybe?" offers the waitress in a sweet voice.

It takes me a few moments to realise that she was speaking to me, not the disco dude in front of me.             

    "Erm, yeah... Can I have a coke, please?" I ask, sounding quite awkward.

    "But of course, sir. By the way, it's on the house, no payment required," She said with a smile spreading on her face.

With caution, she placed the coke on the surface along with some sort of flower...Wait, what?

"Also take this free lotus flower," she said casually.

"Erm... Is this some sort of joke?" I say, probably sounding rude but come on she offered me a damn flower for god sake.

"Sir, trust me they are consumable," she assured me (I think).

Reluctantly, I took theflower and put it in my mouth. At first, it tasted sour and bitter but after acouple of seconds it started to taste quite sweet as well as citrusy. Suddenly,I had the urge to play a video game which was something I had never wanted todo before. Then, as i turn around, i something weird happens...
