Episode 2H

"Hi, Miko!" You cheered as your brother dropped you off at her apartment. He was going to pick up the dreaded Akira for a night of demon slaughter. Not your  favorite thing to do. So you decided to take her up on her earlier offer.

"Hi! How are you doing?" She smiled back at you as she invited you up to her room.

"Not that great!" You both began walking up the flights of stairs together, "Akira and I had a fight."

She frowned at that. She really did like you two together.

"Because of Miki? At track?"

"Yes. He totally ignored me and he didn't even call until he was practically home! I'm just not happy with him." You explained with wild hand motions. Miko laughed at this a little bit as you both reached the door of her apartment and entered it.

"Are you... mad at Miki?" She pushed. Miko had a lot on her mind to talk to you about, but this was spot number one; did you hate her?

"I don't really care about Miki. I thought I'd like her because Akira loves her, but instead she's just causing issues. But she isn't trying to do anything. It's all Akira." You followed her into her bedroom.

Wow, smells like someone had a lot of sex in here recently. You noted mentally.

"Yeah and she's kind of dating that Nakimura, or whatever his name is, so I feel like Fudo should know better."

"They're dating? She never talks about them."

"Well, they meet up occasionally, so whatever that is. Want a cookie?" Miko remembered to have some hospitality. "You can just sit wherever."

Well the bed is a little strong for me... You picked a point furthest from the offending scent. You didn't want to think about that right now. After all, you weren't on good terms with your partner and Ryo didn't give him to you either. They were off on some mission being best friends, while you stayed with this nice human girl.

You nodded to Miko who handed you the plate. As you ate, you continued to speak.

"I take it that you hate Miki." You blurted out. Mixed with the smell of sex, Miko had begun to reek of anger when she had started talking.

She looked at you in surprise and embarrassment.

"Well... I-I don't--"

"It's okay. I won't tell her. Promise." You threw another cookie into your mouth. "I can see why you wouldn't like her."

"It's probably not for the reason you think..." Miko mumbled.

"Oh? Well I'll listen to you, if you want to talk to me about it."

"She stole my name."

"Really!? But then, why are you called Miko? Who gave you that name?" You interpreted her Japanese extremely literally.

"My name is actually Miki. And people used to call me Miki more than her. But then, without the hard studying and trying that I always have to do, she suddenly got better than me. At everything. And everyone liked her more. So before I even realized what was happening, people were calling me Miko..."

You reclined against the wall and listened to Miko's rant. At the very least, it got your mind off of your own problems.
