Hitoshi's POV:

I was happy... there was nothing else I could say about this. I was grinning from ear to ear and my fathers were as well. The atmosphere at home was really pleasant and it was just different knowing that my mate didn't reject me. He could have run away and he could have just left me home. In the end Mic was even throwing a party and I was sitting right at the table with a tiramisu in the middle of us all. This was the best sweet treat we all enjoy.

Mic: I am so happy your mate accepted you.

Eraserhead: *sigh* he is a bit of a difficult case, isn't he?

Me: He is just fine. 

Mic: Are you sure?

Me: Yes, why are you two looking at me like that?

Mic: Well he is a rough one.

Eraserhead: He is a villain.

Me: WAS a villain! And even if he is a rough omega, he is still an omega and my mate. 

At that moment our little talk was interrupted by my phone and everyone looked at it and then me as if they were expecting my mate to call but it was just Shoto. 

Me: Relax, this is Shoto.

Mic: Are you two on good terms?

Me: Yeah we are. He knows about everything and accepted. Besides Izuku is staying with his family now.

At that moment a cold shiver went down my spine. If Shoto was calling me now, wasn't really a good thing. There was nothing he should want from me today. We would usually also text and not call. This was so different for the person I know for a long time now. Still I picked up but I was a bit on the edge.

Me: Hello?

???: Are you his mate?

Shoto: GIVE Me MY PHONE BACK!

???: Shut it CandyCane.

Shoto: TOUYA!

I could hear them argue with each other and decided to put the phone on speaker since it kinda felt like something was going on. Who knows maybe I would need the help of my fathers. I hoped not but I had this bad feeling deep down in my guts.

Eraserhead: Dabi?

Dabi: Eraserhead!

Eraserhead: Why are you calling my son?

Me: What's wrong with my mate?

Dabi: I am calling because of that. He just vanished.

Me: WHAT?!

Eraserhead: WHERE?!

Dabi: Relax or not... he might come to find you since he is your mate and all..... 

Mic: Get to the point.

Dabi: Izuku just went into his heat cycle. I never seen him in his heat before.... As far as I know he uses suppressions. Well not anymore thanks you all so deal with it yourself. He came to warn me... I thought I'll be the nice brother to him and tell his mate about it. 

That was literally all he said before hanging up on us. I was just left there with my mouth wide open. My mate was in his heat. He was a rough one... that meant he could go crazy and the fact that he was running outside all alone was dangerous.

Me: I gotta go.

It was something I just wispered in disbelieve of the whole situation but I had to do something. I didn't know what but something.

Me: I gotta go.

This time I said it out loud and was about to get out of the house if my parents wouldn't stop me.

Mic: You are not seriously going alone?!

Me: I have to go! He is my mate! He is in danger.

Eraserhead: Which is why you are not going out there alone.

Me: Huh?

Mic: Trust me, we know a lot of heroes. We'll deal with this and tell you his position.

Eraserhead: He might be in heat but no one besides his mate will be able to calm him down. I would rather we find him than other heroes right now.

Mic: I agree on this. Let's split our contacts, I am going through upper one.

Eraserhead: The ones in the bottom and Hitoshi, you stay here for the time.

Me: You are not expecting me to stay here!

Eraserhead: Just for now till we know where he is.

Me: I know where he is... well might be.

Mic: Where?

Me: Dad remember the rooftop when we first saw him? He went there to relax.

Eraserhead: Fine, but if he is not there, you are gonna get back home. I don't need my son running around without a license on a goddamn roof. 

Mic: What he means is... he is not gonna be happy when he has to bail you out.

Me: Noted.

With that I basically took my jacket and ran out of the house. No one could stop me from searching for my mate no matter what! He was my other half and I valued him not only for that but for being the person he wanted to be.
