Moving Day.
"With a new region comes a new life, new responsibilities, and most importantly, new friends." ~ Faith, January 3rd, 2021
Remember, this is a new life in Kalos. There's nothing to miss from Alola. You really don't have any friends from there.
The move wasn't as hard for Faith as she thought it was going to be. As long as she kept thinking that thought, she knew everything would be fine.
As the car pulled into her new driveway, she saw five kids. Three boys and two girls.
One of them, a young boy wearing a blue and white sweater, waved at Faith as the car pulled in. Faith felt something in her heart spark and waved back at him. She smiled.
As soon as the car stopped, Faith opened the door and got out.
"Hello, Kalos!"
The kids seemed surprised by her energy and went over to greet her.
"Hi!" One of the girls said. "I'm Serena, and this is Calem, Shauna, Trevor, and Tierno."
"Oh, hi!" Faith smiled. Her gaze rested on Calem and her eyes sparkled. "My name is Faith! I came from Alola."
"Nice to meet you, Faith," Calem said coolly, making eye contact with Faith, who blushed.
"Anyways, I need to unpack, but I'll talk to you guys later, okay?" Faith said.
"Okay!"

Half a year later, Faith was hanging out with her friends when Calem suddenly jumped up and ran somewhere. Faith wondered if something was wrong and debated whether or not she should follow him.
"Guys? Is Calem okay?"
"Not sure. He's been a little off all day today. He just..... hasn't been himself," Serena explained.
"Should I go check on him?"
"Best to just leave him alone for a bit. He might need some time to himself."
"Okay, then."
Calem came back a few minutes later looking wiped out. He rested his head in his arms.
"You okay?"
"Yep....." he said, in a tired voice.
"You sure? We can always go back home to rest-"
"Nah. I'm good. Thanks for the concern, though."
"Okay. Just wanted to make sure."
Serena touched Calem's forehead and frowned. Faith looked at her. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing..... I think."
"Oh. Okay, then."
Calem fell asleep for the rest of the hangout. Faith picked him up and carried him home. Serena looked worried about her friend.
"I'm concerned. If he's sick, I won't be able to ignore it," Faith explained.
"Same here. But there's something wrong with Calem. He hasn't been acting right. He's been tired all day," Serena said.
"That's alarming."
"I know, right?"
Calem started to wake up.
"Hey Calem. How are you feeling?"
"Did I..... pass out?"
"Kinda. You fell asleep."
"..... Oh..."
"Are you okay?"
"Tired, but other than that, I'm good."
"Okay. You should get some rest. We're getting our Pokémon the day after tomorrow, so you need to be awake by then.
"Got it. I'll try my best....."
"Good."
Calem went to rest, still feeling a little sick. He didn't think much of it, though.
It's only a bug. It should all go away soon. Maybe, he thought to himself. He went to his room and immediately fell asleep, clutching his stomach.
Faith looked at Calem's house and sighed. "Guys, should we head back home, or stay here with Calem?"
"Good question. I'm really not sure. I'm sure Calem would want us to continue with our own lives, but it might be better to look after him a bit. Right?"
"I think so. Let's stay right outside of here so we can look after Calem when he wakes up."
Faith went to go explain the situation to her mother, while Serena and the others did the same.
"Calem is sick? That's not good....." Faith's mom said.
"We think he's sick. We're not sure yet," Faith explained.
"Well, if he is, I hope he feels better soon. You go check up on him now."
"Thanks, Mom." Faith ran over to Calem's house to check on him.
Calem was still asleep. He wasn't tucked in, but he was asleep. Faith smiled and pulled the covers over him. "There you go," she said softly, taking a moment to kiss Calem's forehead and stroke his hair.
A few hours later, Faith decided to go home, knowing that Calem was okay. She informed the others about Calem's condition, and they all went home.
