(Third Person's Point of View)

It was the fundraising event for the orphanage, pinilit isama si Victoria ng tatay niya sa party kahit na ilang beses na siyang tumanggi. Hindi sana siya sasama kung hindi lang siya binalaan na icucut off ang allowance niya.

"Tama na kakasibangot, Tori. Just enjoy the party." Sabi ni Vins sa kapatid niya na kanina pa naiinis.

"Enjoy? Saan banda? It's boring as hell," sagot ni Victoria at umismid. "I'll just go out for a while, I need some air." Dagdag ni Victoria.

"Do you need some company?" Her brother Vigor asked.

"No, brother. Thanks." Sagot ni Victoria at naglakad na paalis. Naisipan niyang pumunta sa balcony pero napatigil siya nang may tao siyang naabutan doon. Sisigawan niya sana ito para paalisin kaso kusang napatikom ang bibig niya nang marinig ang sinabi nito.

"Yes, don't worry boss. I won't let them find the heiress of the South. I disguised her as an orphan in our orphanage and named her Rosan like what you told me." Nang marinig ito ni Victoria ay aalis na sana siya kaso nagulat siya nang may kutsilyo ng nakatutok sa leeg niya. Sa bilis ng galaw nito ay hindi niya ito namalayan.

"W-What are you doing!" Sigaw niya.

"Did you heard?" The woman asked.

"Heard what?!"

"I know you heard it, Miss. Wag ka na magkaila."

"Eh ano naman kung narinig ko? Like I care?" Masungit na sabi ni Victoria kaya agad siyang binitawan ng babae. Nang makita niya ito ay nagulat siya nang makita ang head ng orphanage na nag-speech lang kanina sa harap kasama ang Dad niya.

"Y-You! You're the head of the orphanage right?" Nauutal na tanong ni Victoria.

"It's better if you will just stay quiet, Miss. Kung ayaw niyong may mangyari sa inyong masama," sabi ng head ng orphanage.

"Are you blackmailing me? How dare you!" Sigaw ni Victoria.

"Yes, I am. And if you will not shut up, something bad may happen to you or your family." Sabi nito saka umalis. Napanganga na lang si Victoria sa nangyari.

"Tori, are you alright?" Vins asked nang bumalik si Tori.

"Ah, y-yes brother." Sagot niya na lang.

"Akala ko magpapahangin ka sa labas?"

"Nah, I changed my mind. I-I'll just stay here." Nauutal na sabi ni Victoria sabay lagok sa wine niya. Napakunot noo na lang ang dalawang kapatid niya.

After too much thinking, Victoria decided to tell the truth to the girl named Rosan. Nilakasan niya ang loob niya dahil iniisip niya na hindi dapat siya matakot dahil isa siyang Mera. And no one could scare a Mera.

"I need to meet her, I need to tell her the truth." Bulalas ni Victoria at agad kumuha ng papel at panulat saka nagsimula nang isulat ang letter. After she finished the letter ay agad niyang tinawag ang maid.

"Sally! Ipadala mo ito sa orphanage. Make sure that it will be address directly to that girl." Bilin ni Victoria. Napatango na lang si Sally at agad sinunod ang amo niya.

When Rosan received the letter, Mrs. Gerdie saw it at agad itong nakaramdam kung kanino galing ang sulat.

"Rosan? What is that?" She asked.

"Ah, letter po Mrs. Gerdie." Sagot ni Rosan.

"From who?"

"I don't know po eh. Walang nakalagay na name or address."

"How did you know that it was for you?"

"Nakaaddress po sa akin directly, Mrs. Gerdie."

"Can I have your permission to read it? Just to make sure of something." Tanong nito kay Rosan. Tila nagdadalawang isip pa si Rosan pero bandang huli ay inabot niya din ito kay Mrs. Gerdie. Nang mabasa ito ni Mrs. Gerdie ay alam niya na agad kung kanino galing ang sulat. Tama nga ang kaniyang hinala.

"Rosan, payo ko lang sa iyo ha? Wag mo nang siputin ito dahil baka mamaya modus ito. Baka kung ano pang mangyari sa iyong masama. Lalo na't hindi naman nagpakilala sa iyo ang sumulat."

"Ganon po ba? But it seems important."

"Oo, iniisip lang naman kita Rosan. Kasi uso ang pangingidnap ng mga dalaga ngayon. Pinag-iingat lang kita. Pero nasa sa iyo na iyan if gusto mo pang tumuloy pa din." Sabi ni Mrs. Gerdie tila natahimik naman si Rosan.

"H-Hindi na po siguro, baka nga mamaya nanloloko lang po iyan. Baka po tama kayo." Sagot ni Rosan kaya napangiti si Mrs. Gerdie.

"Wise girl. I'll leave it to you." Sagot ni Mrs. Gerdie at agad naglakad paalis. Agad niyang kinuha ang phone niya at dinial ang numero ng boss niyang si Romero Suarez, ang jefe ng West.

[Hello.]

"Hello, jefe. The young Mera tried to interfere with our plan. She wrote a letter to Rosan, asking her to meet up with her at the center."

[Hahaha! Really? I didn't know that Viktor's daughter have some guts.]

"What should we do to her? For sure she won't stop contacting, Rosan."

[I'll handle it. Just give me the details about their meet up.]

"She planned to meet up with Rosan in the coffee shop at 10am, jefe."

[Hahaha! Thanks Gerdie. You're so reliable.] Sagot nito saka binaba ang tawag.

Victoria is patiently waiting for Rosan that day, hindi niya alam ay wala na itong balak sumipot matapos balaan ni Mrs. Gerdie. At hindi niya din ineexpect na may mangyayaring masama sa kaniya that day. She got hit by a car. The same way how her mother died.

"Long time no see, Mera. It's been a while." Nakangising sabi ni Romero Suarez at lumapit sa kaniya habang nakahandusay siya sa daan.

"I'm sorry that your death is late, your suppose to die with your mother that day. Hays! But don't worry susunod ka na din sa kaniya ngayon. Mayayakap mo na ulit siya." The man chuckled at saka umalis na at iniwan si Victoria na duguan sa daan. Victoria coughed blood and the only thing that she remembered before she dies is the face of the man who killed her mother and the one who also killed her that day. At first hindi niya kilala ang lalaki, but after she saw the pin he's wearing, she discovered his identity immediately. It's no other than the jefe of the West. Romero Suarez.

The real Victoria is not suppose to die in that accident dahil kailangan niya pang mabuhay in order to do her role as the villainess of the novel, the one who will torment the female lead named Rosan. But after Ciara died from the bike accident, her soul was attracted to Victoria's body. They have different desires but have the same purpose.

Ciara wishes to continue life and live happily while Victoria wishes to end her life and end her sufferings in order to be happy. These strong desires made it possible for Ciara to be reincarnated as Victoria Mera. They have different desires but they have the same goal which is to be happy. It was Victoria's destiny to die, and it was Ciara's destiny to live again.

Victoria's willingness to die gave an opportunity for Ciara's willingness to live. Ciara was given a second chance in life to live as Victoria and change the faith of her new identity.

In the start of the novel, Victoria already knew the truth about Rosan's real identity when she applied as maid in their mansion. That's why it is the reason why she tormented her. She's mad at her because it's not her intention to accidentaly hear the truth and now she's the one suffering from threats. She blamed Rosan for everything. And she became more mad when she discovered that Nixon, the person she likes, has an interest to Rosan.

"Buti na lang at hindi ka talaga sumipot that day, dahil ngayon wala na talaga akong balak sabihin sa iyo ang totoo, Rosan."

"You'll die without meeting your real parents, I'll make you suffer." She told herself. And that's how she started to maltreated Rosan.

(Back to Victoria's POV)

Nang magkamalay ako ay nawala na ulit ang sakit ng ulo. Another memory of Victoria has passed onto me. At tungkol ito kung paano niya nalaman na si Rosan ang heiress ng South. Totoo ang sinasabi ni Rosan, hindi talaga siya sumipot at wala siyang kinalaman sa aksidente. I hate myself for doubting her and accusing her na kasabwat siya ni Mrs. Gerdie.

"Tori, are you alright?" Tanong ni Rosan. Doon ko lang napansin na nakagapos pala kaming tatlo at nandito kami sa isang abandoned place. Pero bakit parang gumagalaw ang sahig? Parang lumulutang kami.

"Y-Yes, okay na ako. Where are we?" I asked.

"We're currently in the middle of the sea. Sinakay niya tayo sa barko." Sagot ni Rosan.

"Fvck it. I'm sorry guys, kung hindi ako nawalan ng malay sana--"

"Don't blame yourself Victoria, kahit na hindi ka nawalan ng malay ay mahuhuli pa din tayo. Pinaligiran nila tayo." Sagot ni Heilee na hindi pinatapos ang sasabihin ko.

"Yeah, and they threatened us na papatayin nila ang mga bata if hindi kami sumama. Kaya we had no choice." Sagot naman ni Rosan. Napabuntong hininga naman ako.

"R-Rosan. I'm sorry for accusing you. I'm really really sorry for doubting you." Sabi ko.

"It's okay Tori. I understand. Alam kong naguguluhan ka lang sa mga nangyayari." Sagot niya.

"T-That letter, I wrote it because I want to tell you the truth about your real identity. Sorry if ngayon ko lang naalala, Rosan."

"Sorry din if nagtiwala ako kay Mrs. Gerdie, it seems that because of me ay nalagay ang buhay mo sa panganib that day. Sorry if hindi ako sumipot, Tori." Sabi niya. Pero natahimik kami ng biglang pumasok si Romero Suarez kasama si Mrs. Gerdie at ang iba pa niyang mga tauhan.

"Finally, the sleeping beauty is now awake." Bungad niya sa akin kaya sinamaan ko siya ng tingin.

"Fvck you, Suarez. You're the mastermind behind my mother's death!" Sigaw ko.

"Hahaha! Hindi naman kasi mangyayari iyon if hindi nagsimula ang ama mo." Sagot niya.

"What do you mean?" Kunot noo kong tanong.

"Your father killed my wife." Madiin niyang sabi kaya nanlaki ang mata ko. Ano bang pinagsasabi niya? Why would my father do that?

"Why would I believe you? I know you're just making excuses para lalong paguluhin ang utak ko." Sagot ko.

"Dear, you're the one who's making excuses. Ayaw mong paniwalaan ang sinasabi ko kaya iniisip mong nagsisinungaling ako. But yeah, truth hurts. Ang taong tinitingala mo ay ang taong pumatay din sa asawa ko!" Sigaw niya.

"N-No, my Dad will not do that without any reason! I believe in him." Sigaw ko kaya napangisi siya.

"Paniwalaan mo ang gusto mong paniwalaan. Mamamatay din naman kayong tatlo dito." Nakangisi niyang sabi bago umalis.

"Fvck that son of a b*tch!" Sigaw ni Heilee.

"We should plan our escape or else we will die here. At ayoko pang mamatay dahil sisiguraduhin kong ako mismo ang papatay kay Romero." Sabi ko.

"But how? Although we could escape here, there's no chance that we could leave. We're in the middle of the sea!" Sagot ni Heilee kaya napaisip din ako.

"Don't worry, I am currently wearing a gps tracker. For sure after malaman ng mga magulang ko na nawawala din ako ay ittrack nila ang location ko." Sabi ni Rosan.

"You're wearing a gps tracker?" I asked.

"Yeah, my father required me to wear one for safety purposes. I thought he over did it, pero ngayon ko lang narealize na tama siya. It's a good decision na pinilit niya akong magsuot nito." Nakangising sabi ni Rosan.

"Sana nga makasunod sila dito," sabi ko at napabuntong hininga.

"Oh, I forgot. I have a knife in my pocket. Get it Rosan, and untie me first. So that I can untie the both of you." Sabi ni Heilee kaya nga sinunod siya ni Rosan at kinuha ang maliit na knife sa bulsa niya.

"Bakit ngayon mo lang sinabi?" Taas kilay kong sabi habang tinatanggal ni Rosan ang tali na nakagapos sa kamay niya.

"I'm sorry okay? Ngayon ko lang naalala na may extra knife nga pala ako lagi. Tsk." Sagot ni Heilee. Nang matanggal na ni Rosan ang tali niya ay agad niya ng kinuha ang knife at tinanggal naman ang tali niya sa paa, tapos saka niya tinanggal ang tali sa amin. Pero napatigil kami nang makarinig ng sunod-sunod na putok ng baril na mula sa itaas ng barko.

Nagkatinginan kaming tatlo dahil doon. Mukhang parehas kami ng iniisip ngayon. "Speaking of the devils," nakangisi kong sabi kaya napangisi din sila Rosan. Sakto namang may pumasok na tatlong tauhan na may dalang baril, bago pa sila makapagreact ay sinugod namin silang tatlo hanggang sa ma-knockout ang mga ito. Tapos saka namin kinuha ang mga baril na hawak nila.

"It's showtime," sabi ko at kinasa ang baril ko. Then sabay na kaming lumabas na tatlo.
