I never had the opportunity to say "You're welcome" to you...

Mostly because you never said "Thank you"...

And though I never said it, I did my best to make you feel welcome when I gave you shelter from your self created storms...

When you were starved I welcomed you to fill yourself from my stores which you often abused by taking more than you could possibly have consumed...

When you were stranded and knew not where you were in the dark isolation of your demise, I would journey out and hunt until I got you safely home with never a thanks from you...

Although you told me that you loved me many times, you only showed how little you appreciated mine...

When finally you left, I was so void of feelings that I never took the time to thank you...

But then again, you knew not of thank you...

You knew even less of "You're welcome"...
