I was called into Lord Death's room from Crescent Moon class. I entered the room and waited for Death to tell me why he called me up. Death turned around and clapped his hands together. "Hiyya {Y/N" nice to see you" He greeted. "Nice to see you too Death. So what do you need" I asked smiling. "I have a mission for you. Several miles away from Death City there is an asylum that is on complete lock down. One of the patients has somehow turned into a Kishin and now its on the rampage killing any patients and guards in its way. It cannot escape because of the lock down but its causing so many deaths it has to be dealt with." Death explained. I nodded. "Okay Thank you Death I'll complete the mission...why did you choose me and not put it out on the mission wall" I asked curiously. "Well I know you're upset about your last mission alone so I'm giving you another chance and this mission is just perfect for you" Death smiled through his mask. I nodded and exited the room. I saw Dimitri waiting outside for me. "I assumed you'd need me" Dimitri said. I nodded. "We're going to a nuthouse to kick a Kishin's ass" I smirked. Dimitri laughed as we exited the DWMA. "Shoudn't you tell Kid" Dimitri asked. I shook my head. "Class is still going on and besides that he will probably figure it out and if not he can just ask his dad" I said. Dimitri nodded. I smiled to myself. "Finally I get to prove to Kid I'm not weak and I can handle things on my own" I thought.

        We had been walking for hours..and hours. The crazy ass moon was hanging over us as we travled further and further on. Dimitri was looking tired and I felt a yawn coming on. I sighed "Just a little bit further" I thought as we walked on. My eyelids started to droop but I quickly snapped them open. "{Y/N} can we please rest and just continue the mission in the morning" Dimitri asked yawning as he did so. "I..suppose" I yawned as I just collapsed to the ground. "I'll stand first watch" I heard Dimitri mutter. I nodded and closed my eyes before drifting off to sleep. After what only seemed like a few minutes Dimitri woke me up to stand watch. I took in our surroundings. The ground was barren but it wasn't a desert it was just a large baren land that had some trees here and some trees there. It was kind of odd. When the sun rose I woke Dimitri up. He yawned and stretched out his arms and then stood up. "Well I guess today is the day then" Dimitri smiled. I nodded as we headed towards the asylum.

        We stood in front of the asylum doors in awe. It was huge. "So since it's on lock down how do we get in" Dimitri asked. I shrugged but looked around and saw a window slightly ajar. "Let's try that" I said pointing to a window. "You could bend the bars maybe and then we could get in" I said. Dimtiri shrugged. He walked over to the window and just broke the bars with his Katana. "Or you could just do that too" I added forgetting how sharp his katana form was. Dimitri and I climbed through the window then locked it tight just in case the kishin came by. As soon as I turned around I gasped. Blood stained the entire room we had entered. "Oh my death Dimitri" I whispered. Dimitri quickly transformed into his katana form and I took a deep breath and began exploring the asylum for the kishin. Everywhere I went I found blood. "Damn this thing is brutal" I whispered softly. I kicked open doors and each room I explored was empty. "Are there any survivors" I thought sadly. I walked on until I heard a loud scream of a man. "It's coming from downstairs" Dimitri yelled. I quickly slid down the railing and ran towards the scream. What I saw scared the shit out of me.

        A large dragon like creature was devouring a poor man's soul. It's eye were solid red and its body was reptile like. When it took notice of me I gulped. It screeched a terrible noise and ran at me it's large teeth dripping with saliva and blood. I ran up the wall next to me and got behind the kishin. I sliced it's back quickly. The damn thing screeched again then turned back around and went flying towards me. It knocked me half way across the hallway and I lost my breath for a moment. I saw its large claws coming down towards me but I quickly dodged it. I aimed towards its feet my blade cutting across them. The Kishin lost its balance and hit the ground. The floor beneath me shook then it caved in. My eyes widened as I fell down with the Kishin. When I hit the ground I heard screaming. I slowly pushed myself up and gazed around me. People were all huddled up in a corner holding on to each other..guards..and patients. The kishin was running towards them hungrily. I quickly ran in its way and blocked its attack with Dimitri. "Run all of you" I screamed. They all took off out of the room fearing for their lives. The kishin grew furious and fought back even harder. Its claws dug into my right arm and I screamed in pain and fury. "Dimitri....SOUL RESONANCE" I screamed. The katana in my hand grew larger and turned solid black along with my eyes. I felt something rush through my body..fury perhaps? I wasn't sure but whatever it was it made me stronger. I brought the katana down on the kishin with all my strength. The blade cut the kishin in half like butter and soon a red soul was floating in front of me. Dimitri changed into human form and grabbed the soul and swallowed it down. My body was weak but I felt pride inside of me. "I did it Dimitri..we did it by ourselves" I smiled. Dimitri nodded, "Your eyes turned black again though..as did my blade..it isn't suppose to that it just gets bigger and increases the power behind our wavelengths" Dimitri said. My eyes widened a bit but then I shrugged, "We still won" I smiled. "Now lets get out of here" I said walking up the stairs that hadn't caved in. Dimitri followed. As we exited the patients and guards were smiling and shaking our hands and giving us hugs as we passed by. Once we were finally out of the asylum and walking towards home I yawned. The sun was slinking down slowly. "Hey Dimitri, lets just sleep. We can go back to the DWMA tomorrow" I said. "Shoudln't you call Death and tell him we're okay though so he doesn't flip out..mainly Kid" Dimitri said. "Yeah probably" I shrugged. Dimitri looked at me curiously. "But I don't wanna" I finished as I laid down and closed my eyes. Dimitri laughed "Kid is ganna kill you tomorrow" he said as he sat down. "Eh...let em" I laughed before falling to sleep.
