It's been 3 weeks since I moved in with Kid and in all honesty it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. Kid hasn't been bitching at me..well not as much anyway and I was becoming great friends with Liz and Patty. Life at the manor was great. 

       Dimitri and I were falling alseep in Dr. Stein's class as usual and Kid was taking 3 hours to write his name on his paper. It was just another ordinary day at the DWMA. Just as I was about ready to fall asleep I heard Lord Death on the intercom. "{Y/N} and Kid please report to the death room". My eyes widened for a moment.."What the hell did I do this time" I thought as I walked down the stairs. Dr. Stein nodded and watched Kid and I leave. "So what do you think this is about" I asked him hoping he had an idea. Kid shrugged and kept walking. I sighed and followed behind him sulking. We soon arrived in the Death room where Lord Death was waiting. "Hiyya Kiddo, {Y/N}" he greeted warmly. "What's this about father" Kid asked him ignoring his father's greeting. "Well I have a mission for the two of you." Death began. "There is a wizard, Scorpious, he has been causing havoc in the desert. He's already captured hundreds of human souls and we fear he may be harvesting them for a Kishin" Death said. "So what's our mission" I asked already knowing the answer but wanting it confirmed. "I want you both to track him down and either kill him or bring him here to be locked away" Death said. Kid and I nodded. "Good luck you too I have complete faith in you both" Death said before dismissing us. Kid walked into Dr. Stein's classroom to get Liz, Patty, and Dimitri. He quickly explained to Dr. Stein what was happening before leaving. Dimitri high fived me when he came out and smiled. "Let's kick some wizard ass" he smirked. I nodded and glanced at Kid. "Are you ready Kid" I asked. Kid smiled and nodded. We exited the academy and began our journey to capture or kill Scorpious.

        "It's too damn hot to be here" I complained as sweat dripped down the side of my face. We were traveling through the desert now and damn was it hot.  Kid walked on as if the heat didn't even effect him and Dimitri was trying to get water from the air. I sighed and sulked behind the group. "Why the hell would a wizard want to be in the desert" I thought. That's when I sensed something different. "Hey Kid I think we're getting close" I said. Kid stopped and looked around then his eyes landed on a large building ahead. "That's probably where he is" Kid said pointing to the building. Dimitri, Liz, and Patty all changed into weapon form. I held Dimitri in Katana form in my hands. Kid and I approached the building cautiously, keeping an eye on all of our surroundings. We were soon at the front door. "Do we just barge in through the front door" I asked Kid. "We might as well.. they're ganna find out we're here anyway" Kid answered pushing open the steal doors. The room was silent... Kid and I took in our surroundings. The building was rather large so we had plenty of ground to cover. I turned on Soul perception to see if I could sense anything. "He must have soul protect on but I do detect a human" I exclaimed. "I do too he is downstairs" Kid said walking towards a door. He opened it to reveal a long staircase going down. Kid and I began to descend down. "I'm scared out of my mind but I'm going to compelete this mission" I thought to myself as we made our way downstairs.

        Kid opened the door and that's when we spotted him. A tall built man with tatoos of scorpions on his arms. He had meduim lengthed raven black hair and cold gray eyes. My mouth hung open a bit at the wizard in front of me.."No cloak..no long beard or wizard hat..." I thought. "I've been waiting for you...ha ha ha ha he he he" Scorpious started laughing madly. "Well then I assume you know why we're here so we can just cut to the chase and kill you" Kid said running at Scorpious. I stood frozen in place and watched Kid. Scorpious laughed and jumped out of Kid's way and shot a stinger out of his hand towards Kid. Kid dodged it and began shooting at Scorpious with Liz and Patty. "{Y/N} get your ass moving" Dimitri hissed. I shooked my head and snapped out of my trance and took off towards Scorpious. As he was distracted with Kid I jumped up behind him and sliced his back wide open with my blade. Scorpious jumped around and kicked me into the stone wall behind me. He began walking towards me but jumped out of the way as Kid advanced on him. I made myself get up and ran towards Scorpious again despite the pain scorching through my body. I aimed for his feet but the wizard jumped over my blade and grabbed me by my hair and threw me down. Kid took the oppurtunity and kicked Scorpious in the head, sending him flying across the room. Kid ran to me. "Are you okay" he asked worried. "Go I'm fine" I answered quickly. Kid nodded and took off towards Scorpious again. I felt something boiling up inside of me but I wasn't sure what it was. Scorpious had created a long jet black blad with a white scorpion symbol on it. "If I stick this inside of you deep enough it inserts poison inside of you that of a scorpion. And I assure you it's enough to kill you" Scorpious laughed. My eyes widened in fear but I quickly brushed it off. I dashed towards him my blade in hand and attacked. Scorpious blocked my attack with his own blade. I planted my feet to the ground and pushed onto Scorpious as his sword slowly began faltering. But when it did Scorpious quickly jumped out of my way before I could even hit him. Sweat covered my entire face as I raged on. Soon I was completely lost. The only thing I saw was red. I heard Kid scream my name and quickly snapped out of it. Kid was looking at me horrified. "What's that face abou.." I was cut off as Scorpious's sword went through my torso. I felt intense pain rage through my body before I fell to the ground as my vision blurred.

Kid P.O.V~

        I watched as {Y/N} fell to the ground and felt anger boil up through my body. "Liz..Patty..execution mode" I hissed. I was lifted up into the sky as Liz and Patty transformed into the cannons. I fell back down and held up my arms. I smiled wickedly at Scorpious. "Death cannon" I muttered. The cannon fired and a bright ball of light came out of no where then all was silent. I scanned the room for Scorpious's body but found it no where. "DAMN IT HE  GOT AWAY" I screamed. I dropped Liz and Patty who quickly transformed back into humans and ran to {Y/N}. Dimitri was holding her, pressing down on her wound with his hand. "We have to get her back to the academy...Here" I handed Dimitri a mirror. "Call my father and tell him what happened and to make sure Stein is ready" I ordered. Dimitri nodded and didn't question my orders. I held {Y/N} in my arms and held back tears as I looked into her dull {E/C} eyes. Her breathing was ragged and she seemed to be trying her best to stay awake. I Knew the poison was traveling through her body and she was losing lots of blood. "Hold on {Y/N}" I whispered as I pushed her bangs out of her eyes. Liz and Patty were rubbing my back comfortably and Dimitri had come back and nodded. I summoned Beezlebub and held {Y/N} in my arms. "I must hurry I'll send someone back for you three" I said. They all nodded and I quickly took off holding {Y/N} close. "I hope she makes it...I...I can't lose her"  I thought sadly.
