Justin got to the cafe and to his surprise he saw Rain. Not sitting and drinking coffee like most rich girls do. He saw her wearing an apron and standing behind the counter serving coffee.

"Wow! You work here?", asked Justin.

"Yeah. Is that going to interfere with our deal? I know you have a type", said Rain.

"No, Rain! It's not a deal breaker. I just didn't expect it that's all. So? What do you think my type is?", asked Justin.

"You know, hot, rich, popular and princess-ish", said Rain.

"If you say so!, anyways you wanted to talk?", said Justin

"Yes, how are we going to turn Sarah into prom queen?", asked Rain.

"Well let's see it's going to be hard. She has curly hair, that has to go! I already worked on the glasses so that's out. The way she dresses has to go and men like to see a girl in heels. Can you make that happen?", asked Justin.

"Which part? Okay I want to do this without letting her know. So tomorrow is the party so we can go shopping. That will be the perfect excuse!", said Rain.

"Why are you doing this? I know why I'm doing it but you are not even taking anything for yourself?", said Justin

"Well, Sarah is my friend and I have my reasons. Plus, you are not picking on me anymore. Why were you picking on me I did nothing to you!", asked Rain.

"Maybe one day I will tell you, so as your 'boyfriend' do I get free coffee?", asked Justin.

She smiled as she poured him a cup of coffee. They were actually becoming friends.
The next day Rain asked Sarah to meet her at the mall to go shopping for the party.

Sarah tried them on and they fit like a pair of gloves.

"Wow I look great Rain . Wow is that an ass back there?", she said checking herself out.

"I think you should get them!", said Rain.

Sarah looked sad. She said "I can't afford them".

"It's on me, don't worry about it. I got you babe, consider it a thank you for being my friend and making me feel welcomed in your town" said Rain as she paid for the pants.

The girls sat down for a milkshake and they started talking.

The truth is, I know I dress like a grandmother.
The reason for this is my mom is single. My dad bailed when I was to young to remember and it's been my mom and I ever since.
Mom works hard and it's hard to get the hottest clothes on the shelf or even off the rack so my grandma usually sews my clothes and sends them for me.
Keeping groceries in the cupboard is my mom's biggest concern and sometimes we don't even have that.
She tries hard though, that's home life and in school if the kids there talk to me it's usually only to make fun of me.
That's why when you spoke to me on your first day I was surprised.

The girls hugged and they both went to Rain's house.
Sarah met Rain's brother and mother and they went to Rain's room.
Rain opened her closet and said " I've never had a best friend or a sister and I always wanted to do this.
