Florida needs everything planned out, if he writes something, an update schedule with follow shortly after

if he wants to animate something, he'll add time for it to his day

but if he tells someone he'll do something and starts procrastinating he'll panic

California's a little different

He can schedule things, but he usually procrastinates a lot more

he always gets things done though

DC doesn't procrastinate as much, but he isn't as planned out as Florida

they all have a huge fear of failure

they don't think they actually earned their success in whatever they try

Florida refuses to try things out of fear of failing or taking too long to learn, his parents told him often he wasn't good enough and compared him to his siblings, saying what he did wouldn't count because his siblings did it better, or learned faster

California forces himself into so many new habits he doesn't enjoy because he wants to feel like he can get something done

Dave tells Florida one day, "make a mistake, go on, make a mistake" but it isn't in the tone his parents used, it wasn't threatening

so he does, he knocks his phone off the table and looks back over at Dave

"Isn't that great? No one's going to hit you!" Dave's smiling at him

Florida takes a minute to process before realizing, no one's going to hit him

it's a relief

Dave will always let Florida cry, encouraging him to show his emotions in a healthy way whenever he can

Florida leaves little notes in his videos sometimes

things like text in the corner of the screen that said "this scene gave artist much anxiety"

or "you rat >:| I raised you better than this"
