(Y/n)'s POV

After Hunk finished making the device to find this "Voltron", we followed Keith to the area where he felt the energy. I stayed close to Keith as he was the person I was most comfortable with. Hunk was ahead scanning the area for the energy. Lance, Shiro, and Pidge were behind me and Keith. I look at Keith and he looks serious, so I decide to try and make him loosen up. "Hey Keith you know you owe me now." I said with a smug look on my face. He looks at me with both a shocked and confused expression. "What?! Why?!" He exclaimed. "You broke our promise. And for you to make it up to me you have to do one thing for me."

Keith rolled his eyes is response and sighed. "Alright what do you want me to do?" He said sounding annoyed, but I know that it's only a cover to avoid being embarrassed. I lean close to his ear and began to whisper. "Hold my hand until we reach 'Voltron'". Keith's face went red and looked away from me. "Aww... he's embarrassed! So cute!" But I knew he wouldn't do that, he's just not the kind of guy who would like human contact.

"Fine..." Keith said and then he grabbed my hand and held it tightly. A small blush formed on my cheeks , and I was in shock that he actually did it! "Are you happy?" He said while avoiding eye contact. I just didn't respond because one I wasn't expecting this, and two HE'S ACTUALLY HOLDING MY HAND!

I wan internally screaming my head off, but I kept my cool. Then Hunk got a signal and we followed it to a cave that had lion carvings on the walls. It felt odd, the presence here just felt different to me. Then all of a sudden the carvings began to glow blue light. I then heard a crack. "What was th-" then the floor fell down dropping everyone below. Everyone screamed and I held on to Keith and closed my eyes, bracing for impact.

I then felt the ground hard, but it was broken by Keith. Everyone else then hit the ground, a bit wet from the puddle that was below us. When we got up I saw something amazing... a giant robotic lion. "Could this be Voltron?" Pidge questioned. No one response, but we decided to get closer. I stayed by Keith's side and I held his hand tightly, I was kind of scared.

"Hey does anyone else think that those eyes are following them?" Lance asked but with no response. "Seriously I think they're following me." We then reached the lion, but it was protected by some kind of barrier. None of us could enter. "Have you tried knocking?" Lance asked. "That's not going to work." Keith responded in annoyance. Lance then proceeded to knock and then the barrier disappeared. He then pulled a smug look on Keith, who looked away.

We then all entered the lion, but Lance decided to sit down near the controls. When he touched the controls the lion then started to move. "W-What's going on?!" I said in fear. The lion then began to run and out of instinct, I let go of Keith's hand and held on to the seat Lance was in. The lion then began to fly and did flips. "LANCE STOP FOOLING AROUND!" I yelled. "I can't! It's like this thing is on autopilot." He said. The all of a sudden something pulls up near the controls. "The lion says that there's some ship outside of Earth's atmosphere." Then it skyrockets up heading to space. Everyone is screaming. "YOU ARE THE WORST PILOT EVER!" Keith yelled.

After like a minute we were in space, but what I saw was a huge ship that scared me terribly. It just radiates a very sinister and terrible presence, it was bad that I began to shake. Keith must have taken notice because he put one of his arms around me and tried to keep me calm. I stopped shaking, but that ship was huge. It then began firing at us, huge purple lasers came out of the side of the ship. "We have to keep it away from Earth!" Pidge yells and Lance moves the Lion away from Earth.

Not even a few seconds pass and I see something very familiar. "Hey that's Kerberos!" I yell. "Really, but it takes months for our ships to get here. We got here in a matter of seconds." Pidge said. Then all of a sudden a wormhole appears. "Guys the lion is saying we should go through that wormhole!" Lance says. The rest were saying it's not a good idea, but we had to get away from the ship, so we went through the wormhole.

We were then surrounded by light and it felt like we were traveling at the speed of light. After a bit we see some planet and the lion goes to the planet. "Guys are you sure you don't hear anything?" Lance asks. I then hear a high pitch sound. "Yeah I hear it." Hunk says. "Yeah me too" Keith agrees.  Then the smell hit me. We all gagged and held in our breath. "LANCE!" I yelled.

As we entered the planet we see a castle, and the lion took us to it. It then landed and we all got out of the lion. We then went near the castle entrance and then the lion roars and the door opens. We all walk inside, but this place has weird aura surrounding it. I held onto Keith and I blush slightly, but I was scared so I didn't care if I was acting weird.

We then reach a room that looks like a control room. As we enter some kind of pod comes out of the ground and reveals a women inside. She is then released and she begins to fall only to be caught by Lance. "Where am I? Who are you?" She asks. "I'm Lance and you're right here in my arms." Lance says all cool like. His pick up lines made me cringe. She then gets closer to his face. "Your ears... they're hideous!" She says and I try to hold back my laughter.

She then gets out of Lance's arms and went to the center of the room. A screen appears in front of her and she begins to do something. Then another pod comes out of the ground revealing a somewhat old man. He then sees Lance a tries to attack him. He misses and then loses his balance. "You're lucky I have the old case of the sleep chamber knees, otherwise I would have done this!" and then he makes some weird gestures and Lance did the same.

"Coran..." the woman says. "Yes princess Allura?" Coran responds. "We have been asleep for over 10,000 years!"
